Tim and Val at Landmark Transmission saved our Thanksgiving — needless to say, our entire family is very thankful. I highly recommend this company because they helped us out on what to do when our car had transmission problems in Nowhere, South Carolina more than 300 miles from home. With a car full of very young children, it was comforting to know that they were there to help and that we would not be walking along the side of Interstate 20 in the dark. When we got the vehicle into their shop, they had it fixed in a matter of just a couple of days and now it drives like it is new again. Thank you so much, and have a Merry Christmas!

Owners Tim and Val are the best. Super nice, honest and straightforward. Transmission issues are never fun but I ended up needing a rebuild at $ 2300 but I feel like I got superior work for the cost. Their 2 year/​24K mile warranty is solid as well.

I was very impressed with the work, customer service and price. They rebuilt my 2006 Acura TL transmission for $ 3200 in 5 days! These guys are top notch! Val was an absolute pleasure to work with and I have recommended them to everyone. The Acura stealership wanted $ 4800 for an after market transmission, not a rebuilt one, and $ 5800 for a new Acura transmission, no thanks!

I had an amazing experience at Robert’s Landmark! If you are having any transmission problems, trust me when I tell you to take it to them. They operate their business with integrity, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about transmission, how refreshing!
I cannot recommend them enough, if your vehicle is having transmission problems take it to them! The owners Tim and his wife Valeri are wonderful people. Several months after the repair they sent me a hand written thank you letter which was a nice touch.

Brought in an old 1982 Ford F-​100 with problems shifting. Tim and his wife Valerie now own this shop which they bought from Robert but they have taken great measures to make sure the deep knowledge of transmissions and the customer service they provide is second to none. They went out of their way to make sure my situation was provided for and provided honest advice, and very reasonable rates for the work accomplished on my truck. They are thorough in the work, and thorough in providing knowledge and advice and patient. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this shop or bring my vehicles here at all in the future — they are completely dedicated to their customers.

I have dealt with this business before when they were a Mr. Transmission, and I am glad they are still around. Only thing different is the name. If you take a transmission problem to just about any other shop (other than actual trans specialty shops ie: aamco) they will probably tell you to take it directly to Landmark because they are just going sub the work the work to Landmark anyway. I have had that happen a couple of times before.

I own a 1992 Mazda Miata which has become a family member. Recently at 133k miles the transmission quit. Knowing that rebuilding a rare Miata automatic transmission is a challenge for any expert, I researched and talked to different mechanics. Eventually decided to trust my car to Robert’s. Valerie and Tim were very friendly and knowledgable. Tim and his mechanics took the challenge and did a perfect job in rebuilding my transmission even though locating parts was not easy. The charge was very reasonable and much less than other shops. They gave me one year unlimited mileage warranty and on top of that, when I picked the car, Tim said come back anytime if you have a problem. I could not have asked for better honest professionals than Tim and Valeri and a better job. You can trust them with your car either a classic or not and you can be sure you will receive top quality service with detailed explanation of the job done. Thank you Valeri and Tim for your professionalism and honesty.

Transmission stuff is tricky and expensive. I would not go anywhere else with tranny issues except here. Robert is the best. Honest, hardworking, family owned. and stands behind his work. They have helped many of my heaps stay on the streets. You’ll be very happy with the work. Give them a go when your car won’t !
