This place is just ok. Wing specials are great and they have lots of tvs however they close really early and the rest of the menu is really not good. It’s always empty and just not the neighborhood bar I wish it was.

Totally disgusted. Sitting at the bar watching some football when a couple next to us found a USED bandaide in their salad!!! Can hou believe the manager only comped that one meal! How disgusting. Would not recommend eating here.

I absolutely love coming here! It’s one of the few places in Kennesaw that enjoy just about everything I eat on the menu.

I’ve been to Buffalo’s Café in Acworth back when in was in it’s old location next to Home Depot. Due to not having a Buffalo Wild Wings nearby I went a total of 3 times, hoping it would get better each time, it never did, rather worse. The bad reviews, baby wings, and other issues you’ve been reading are all spot on in my humble opinion so I’m not going to beat them to death. FFWD — Dec 2014: Buffalo’s Café is in its new location or a whopping mile south on 41 from it’s old site. I was killing time and thought I’d give the new lo’cal a try plus a pint of cold beer sounded good. 1st, I was going to call. For those of you who had been to the old location, you may recall it smelled like an old ashtray even though the«smoking» section was walled off. So I asked, was there a smoking section at the new lo’cal? Answer: «no». Great. Pint time! I walked in, took a right angle into the new bar and«WHATTHE…» Smoke? The bartender said, it’s no smoking its just the smoke from people on the patio is blowing in. If I had stayed in that bar for more than 2 minutes, my clothes would have smelled like a strip bar. Yeah, wifie is going to believe me. Nice. It looked like the same old dive to me. I didn’t order a pint, rather did a 180 and went to Fast Eddies Sports Café’ across 41 in the Kroger Plaza; that was a tasty cold pint. For the diehards that love Buffalo’s that’s great for you guys. I also agree with Bryan O. that we need more sport type bars on the Acworth 41 strip. Buffalo’s Café just isn’t it for me. Good luck out there and keep posting.

From a place called«buffaloes» I would think they would want to be known for their wings. It is obvious when I come here that people in cooperate don’t ever eat at their own restaurants. It’s hard that this is what we find acceptable in cooperate america and if I were a franchise owner, I would start listening to it patrons.

We gave it 3 tries but after last night, we’re done. 1st time we went, wings were good, service was horrible and took forever to get our food. There were two other tables there. I got my side salad when we were paying our bill. The server was confused that I wanted it before my meal. 2nd time, food was awful. Wings were so overcooked that there was no meat to be salvaged. And when we got it, it was all freezing cold. The server charged our«Kids Eat Free» meals on our card and so we had to wait for that to be reversed. The 3rd and last time, our food was absolutely terrible. I got the mixed grill. Cold(apparently they don’t serve hot food) and my chicken was an overcooked brick COVERED in cheese. The shrimp was swimming in some sort of gross sauce and the zucchini tasted like something I’ve never experienced before. I very rarely complain since I used to be in service so I never sent it back. I thought the server would figure it out when we all had full plates asking for the check but said nothing. We’re very sad that we have to give this one up. We love Buffalo’s and have since we were young but this location is terrible. We’ll make the drive the the one on 278 if we’re craving our favorite southwest treats.

Buffalo’s Café in Acworth/Kennesaw is one of those places that seems to attract negative reviews for no discernible reason. I have waited to dine here several times before writing this review just to be absolutely certain there wasn’t something that I was missing. Each time that I have come here with my family the experience has been enjoyable, the food excellent, with the service being both friendly and acceptable. While yes, when they first opened, the service was slightly inattentive and the servers were a bit uninformed about the beer menu, never did we find this to be a deal breaker. My family loves the all-you-can-eat wings(both traditional and boneless) that they offer on Mondays and Wednesdays. There are many good sauces to choose from and you can combine the flavors any way you wish. Getting additional servings is painless and fast. The quality of the food is always good and plentiful for a sports bar setting. Buffalo’s Café is great for families and my own family is grateful that we have such an establishment so close to home. Acworth(and northern Kennesaw) is not exactly known for having great places to eat and generally speaking, we most often head south toward the city to find good offerings. Buffalo’s Café is one of the few places that we don’t have to travel far to enjoy. Pay no heed to the negative reviews for this establishment. We have dinned here in excess of seven times since they opened and we have never once encountered any of the things other reviewers have complained about.

I have been to several of these locations and I can say that the wings as a standard are below average. The sauces seem to be an afterthought as the taste does not meld well with the wings. The bright spot is that unlike some places there is actually chicken in the wings instead of flavored batter like Hooters. The rating for this place is low because the problems go a lot farther than just the bad wing flavors. Our waitress seemed to be hopped up on too many red bull or something as she nearly dumped our apps in my lap. Then she returned with some napkins that she tossed on the table for us to clean up the mess. The remnants of the mess sat on the edge of our table for our entire meal so I am guessing she wanted me to clean it up then take the mess to the kitchen. I was only given one cup of water and never asked if I needed a refill. The waitress openly told us that she was going to ignore us because she had a party to deal with and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed before she disappeared — she did rush by to check on us 2 times… The seating choice for the chain is quite uncomfortable as well so it makes you less inclined to hang out and have a few more drinks, thus increasing the customer ticket price. It is more like the Quiktrip of wing places I guess.

My wife and I have been going here since it opened and at first there were a few problems but nothing major. We went 2 weeks ago we ordered wings and a buffalo bill burger. They brought us a big side of blue cheese that had several very long hairs in it. We spoke to manager and she stated she would take care of the bill and we left without eating. The wife wanted to try it again the other night and we both ordered sweet tea after waiting for 10 minutes on a waitress. There were only customers at 3 other tables. When she finally brought the teas there was absolutely no ice in them. We had to wait another 10 minutes for ice. We should have left then but we didn’t. We ordered wings and a medium rare buffalo bill burger and we waited 30 minutes for it and both the wings and the burger were burnt to a crisp. We talked to the manager and we explained to him what happened this time and the last time and he could not give us any answers. We asked what happened to all the staff that was there a month ago and he told us that they completely changed all the management and wait staff because the company was getting too many complaints. The change took place 3 weeks ago. At this rate I don’t see how they are going to keep the doors open til the end of the year. We will not go back and I would not suggest any one else go there either. There is a Buffalos in Woodstock or LuLus is right up the road.

Totally disappointed with Buffalo’s in Acworth. Service is sub par. Our chicken was raw Saturday. The manager never came out to apologize. The waitress gave us our check and then sent someone else over to collect. And the food took forever to come out of the kitchen, yet the restaurant was practically empty. We’ve been there several times since it opened and service has always been very slow, but serving raw chicken and not even getting an apology from the manager was the last straw. We will be going back to the Hiram location. Their customer service is very good.

I really can’t give it a review. But here goes, we were greeted by the hostess who said she’d be back to seat us. She didn’t return, after 3 servers said she’d be back to seat us the 4th person came and finally sat us. Our waitress was taking orders for a larger party so it gave us plenty of time to look over the menu as first timers. She made it to the table finally. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner with slaw & curly fries. My fiancé ordered hot wings and coconut jerk wings. My meal came and the fries were cold and soggy. I tasted the slaw and gagged. It tasted rather old. It had a moldy mayo taste and it was room temp too. The shrimp… way over cooked. The batter for it was different, like the battered you’d make for a chicken parmesan. I literally had to force down the shrimp. You couldn’t pay me to eat the slaw. My fiancé’s wings had good sauce flavor, but there was minimal meat. Like the wings came off an emaciated chicken. Wings were way overpriced. We wasted our cheat day here. Not returning.

Took my son for late lunch after he got off from work. the Wasn’t busy at all. Wait staff was attentive other than not being interested in our passive complaints. Our food took really long to come out, and part of order was missing. What we had, wings and potato appetizer, we would get huge bites of nothing but salt clumps. We were seated near kitchen and it was apparent they were more interested in goofing off and being loud. Probably contributed to the sloppy food prep. At least it was just two of us and not my whole family. Was hoping the return of Buffalo’s in the area would be better.

When Buffalo’s closed, just over a year ago, I was immediately bummed out. Good bar type restaurants no longer existed in this stretch of Cobb Parkway. Don’t you dare recommend Chili’s or O’Charlies! Come on now! Imagine my excitement when I saw their famous, oversized Buffalo in the parking lot next to a «Buffalo’s coming soon» sign that was posted all over the shopping center. First of all, I love the new layout. The closed off bar area is no longer secured by plexi-glass, so smoking isn’t permitted but there is a big sign letting you know no one under 18 is permitted. I thought it was a separate room until I made my way to the bathroom and I saw it was open to the kitchen, to the hallway to the bathroom and part of the dining room. Interesting. The dining room is a bit smaller than the original location just down the street but the massive amount of oversized booths with whitewash benches made up for it. I love how high the benches go up. You can actually hear the people you’re dining with talk without screaming or getting awkward stares. Yes, I am THAT person that discusses raunchy things with friends in public! Especially over lunch with my girls! While the menu has a lot of new options, I stuck with boneless wings in mild sauce. My friend got the Hawaiian burger and we opted to share an order of fries. As the plate of wings was put in front of me I immediately smelled the sauce. There is no way these things were mild! I have a weak stomach and can’t handle too much spice. One bite in and I can guarantee these were a step above medium, maybe even their hottest sauce. After attempting to find the waitress, I gave up on asking about the sauce and just ate the fries. My friends«medium» burger was cooked well done and the patty was very thin. He chalked this up to a learning curve in the kitchen and ate it anyway, commenting he’d never order it again. Where’s the beef?! I would have liked a little more attention from our waitress. I’m not asking you to hover over us but stopping by or walking by and noticing our low drinks would have been nice. She stopped by once, quickly asking if the food was good. Before I could look up to comment, she was gone. She didn’t reappear again until the check was given. I had to ask for a refill on my drink twice considering the wings were giving me heat flashes! I would have given 5 stars but it’s obvious the staff is going through the growing pains of a new restaurant. 4 is fair as a beginning rating and I’ll update my review as things get better. Welcome back Buffalo’s! You were missed!
