Planet Beach – Kenner

Very disappointed in planet beach Kenner. Very unorganized as regards to paperwork etc. the lack of good communication is unreal. The environment is not the most professional I’ve seen. I’m overall very unhappy that I ever signed up. I wasted money from the jump on buying products they recommended, that are way overpriced and that I barely used. Issues came up regarding my contract. As I spoke with manager about my issues with everything going on, all the manager did was apologize. She did NOT go above and beyond to make things right with the issues I was having. After «I» told the manager not to worry about it and that I expected more customer service, that I would do my part and fulfill my contract even though is was majorly misinterpreted to me. At the point the manager offered to try to make things better, after I brought up the lack of good customer service. I will never again sign up at planet beach Kenner due to the lack of professionalism, lack of organization, lack of true and outstanding customer service.

I’ve been to this Planet Beach twice now and I have mixed feelings. The staff is very nice but ask the information they give you is very overwhelming regarding the packages, the services, the products, etc. I won a spray tan package for a fund raiser and it covered the mystic tan machine ONLY not including the actual cartridge to get the actual spray tan which is confusing to me. Everything is pretty much a la cart. On the other hand the other spa services besides the mystic tan are phenomenal ! The hydration station didn’t work correctly the first time I tried it but I decided to give it another try and BOY I AM GLAD I DID! It so truely amazing !

I loveeee this tanning salon. Their staff members are super friendly and helpful. They go into detail and teach you methods, on how to get the darkest tan that suits you. They have an extremely clean atmosphere and their bulbs get changed on the regular, so if your looking for a dark tan with the quickness, than this place is for you! For most holidays they always have great specials, to where you buy a few months and you get a few months free! And the last Thursday of every month they have a member appreciation party’s where they have delicious food, and also promote different sales on lotions and products. In the past I’ve heard people say planet beach is to expensive. Well I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for! And if you buy your membership during one of their promotions, than its actually not expensive at all. I’ve been tanning for 12 years and one thing I’ve picked up on, is that most tanning salons wait way to long to change their bulbs, which causes you to not get a dark tan, no matter how often you use their beds. But at planet beach Kenner you will NEVER experience that issue. And FYI, I do not get paid to say this, I just give credit when it’s due! Xoxo
