Kearney Eye Institute cares about eye care. Kearney Eye Institute is a complete eye care facility where we can take care of a wide range of eye problems. Whether you simply need a change in your glasses or contacts, or you are interested in cataract surgery, we can take care of all your medical and surgical eye care needs. We keep informational pamphlets available for education or you may speak to one our of medical staff if you have specific questions regarding an eye-related disease. In 2008, Dr. Linda Blakely expanded the services at KEI to include aesthetics. In addition to her surgery and opthalmic duties, she performs all cosmetic treatments and carries a full line of physician grade skin care.

Established in 2000.
For the last 40 years we have been specializing in the practice of ophthalmology. Our physicians are medical doctors with a specialty in medical and surgical eye care. Their years of medical training, experience and continuing education insure that you receive excellent, complete eye care in Kearney and the surrounding communities. For the convenience of our patients we offer satellite offices in Broken Bow, Lexington, Cozad, Holdrege, Cambridge and McCook providing medical and surgical care in these communities as well. Our services include routine eye exams, contact lenses, cataract surgery, Glaucoma treatment, LASIK eye surgery, Macular Degeneration care and Aesthetics.

Business Owner
Dr. Blakely began her premedical education at the University of Kansas. She received her medical training from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Blakely joined Kearney Eye Institute in 1994 and became Board Certified in 1995. Dr. Blakely is an award winning refractive surgeon and uses the technologically advanced VISX Star4 Excimer laser for her LASIK procedures. She travels to satellite clinics in Broken Bow, Cozad and Lexington and performs cataract and cosmetic surgery at those local hospitals. Aesthetic services were added by Dr. Blakely in 2009 and have gown into a successful part of Kearney Eye Institute.
Dr. Blakely and her husband have three daughters.
