Gary Michael’s Clothiers is Kearney’s première men’s clothing store, specializing in fine men’s clothing, sportswear & formal attire. We feature a line of suits and sport coats from names like S. Cohen, Hart Schaffner & Marx, Ralph Lauren, Baroni & Jack Victor.

Our sportswear line includes names from Tommy Bahama, Cutter & Buck and Southern Tide. We are the only Southern Tide retailer between Lincoln and Denver.

We are also a Jim’s Formal Wear authorized tuxedo retailer and we are able to take care of all your formal wear needs. Weddings, proms & black tie events are just a few of the formal wear areas we specialize in.

What makes us unique is the ability to give individual attention to each customer and a tailored fit you’re sure to be satisfied with. Gary Michael’s has a tailor on site with over 35 years experience in the clothing and tailoring industry.

History

Established in 2013.

While we just opened our doors in 2013, the Gary Michael’s in Hastings has been established for over 30 years.

Meet the Manager

Josh J.

Manager

Josh Jelden is the General Manager for the Kearney Gary Michael’s Clothiers.

He has managed the Kearney location since October of 2013.

Prior to joining Gary Michael’s, Josh worked with the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce as a membership director and NTV as a sports director.

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-​Lincoln. He and his wife Kelly reside in Kearney.
