The Buckle originated in 1948 as a single store in Kearney, NE called Mills Clothing Store, selling conventional men’s clothes. The Buckle went public in 1991. We presently have over 430 locations in 42 states. Stores average about 5000 sq. feet and employ 15 — 30 people. About 550 teammates work in the corporate offices, distribution, and internet staff members.
