Went there for the first time today. It was clean and I was able to get right in which I did not expect. I had an acrylic refill and a spa pedicure. Both technicians did a good job. The girl at the front was nice and she did talk me into upgrading the pedicure. Next time I will probably just get the regular spoil me pedicure because I don’t notice a difference from what I usually get and I paid more than what I normally would have. It looks very nice in there and there are a lot of options and a lot of polish to choose from which is nice. My only other wish would be that when doing acrylic nails they would use a different drillbit to go around the cuticle area so it would look cleaner. My old nail techs back in Michigan always had the football shaped drillbit and were able to get into the cuticle very well without hurting my nails. it looked perfect and clean every single time. So far since I’ve been to Texas I have not found anyone that uses it. But between every nail place I’ve been to here so far this is the best one!

I have been coming here since they opened 2 years ago. Joanna is amazing and is always up for the challenge, as I never do anything simple with the designs on my nails.

I absolutely loved this place! They were clean, professional and it smelled good. Trinite did an amazing job, she was social yet professional and took her time. The best part about it was the WINE!!!
I’ve been looking for a nice yet inexpensive salon in Katy… no need for me to look any further!

Booked a mani/​pedi party here for my daughter’s birthday. They did all six girls’ mani/​pedis in 35 minutes, there were lots of issues with the cuticles not being cut well, the paint applied haphazardly (one girl’s nails had paint gobbed on and under her nails — I had to use acetone to remove the stuff from under her nails) etc. We felt very rushed, and because they were kids and supposedly don’t know the difference, the quality was very low. I won’t be booking there again. There is another nail salon down the street who will do great kids mani/pedi’s for $ 20 apiece and give the girls an anklet to wear. I should have booked there, but liked the smaller kids spa chairs at Nails of America. Wasn’t worth booking this party for those chairs though! Live and learn…

I’ve came here with my girlfriend on our anniversary. Sorry to say but it was a horrid experience and I would not come back. Management was impolite and does not seem to care about accommodating their clients. Also, the techs were hard to understand and was very pushy. During our whole visit, the techs were talking to each other in Vietnamese and made it very uncomfortable. Laughing and joking like we understand. I’ve been to many nail salons, this salon looks nice from inside and out but like most places it’s all looks. If you want to relax and have a comfortable and clean environment, I suggest to go somewhere else that would actually care and tend your needs.

Worst ever. They wanted $ 27 to do my 4 year olds pedicure! Way over priced, I usually pay $ 15. They have the kids chairs but no adult chairs next to them. I am not ok with my daughter being out of my sight to do her nails while doing my own. We walked out without getting anything done.

I went to the salon this morning after a couple of people told me how great it was. I had Amy for a mani and pedi and she was by far the rudest and roughest nail tech. I have ever experienced. I go once a month (for years now) for a mani/​pedi and I’ve never had the issues I had today at any other salon. She made my fingers bleed three times while cutting my cuticles and all she said was «oops». I also requested an overlay on one of my big toes to make it the same length as the other and she said «no, not good for your toe» ??? Every time I tried to speak or request something nicely, she cut me off and would say «you just need stop & relax». My fingers are in so much pain from a simple manicure!

Not bad, very nice and very fast but the customers are mighty rude! But the staff is great! first visit pedi cure on a Friday evening got right in and out!

I have gone here 3 times. Twice I got a refill with my pedicure. Both times, the Gel Polish on top of my acrylics has chipped within a week. Anywhere else I go, the same service lasts 3 weeks. Prices are high!!! I will not go back. My nails look horrible. If you must come here, get a pedicure only.

My manicure today was horrible. I had a broken nail and the lady cut all my nails to match the broken nail. Oh wait! She didn’t file them as well. Actually that was good because they hurt without the filing

I LOVE this place. Kim is who I use. The cost is a little more than other salons but you get what you pay for and my nails always look awesome. I am always greeted with a smile and offered water or wine. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and Tina is the best! They are busy on the weekends so be sure to make an appointment! Walk-​in times can be an hour on Saturday mornings but if you have an appointment you’ll get right in. Ask for Tina, Kim, or Ann. They’re very good!

I’ve worked in this industry as a GM or Director (salon & spa) for over 18yrs. now so, I fully understand the operations side of this business. Therefore, I’ve also experienced the «good & bad» of nail salons and I truly enjoy this Nails of America location. The receptionist whether the part owner or the young lady are always polite and friendly and I’ve never experienced the common issue at other nail salons of, «You NEED a pedicure too» or, «Your brows NEED waxing too.» I’m sure most of you know what I mean — it’s truly frustrating when you never intended for that experience! The tech I’ve now gone back to see numerous times is Mindy and she is always warm & welcoming and will engage in appropriate, light conversation. She never intrudes or asks me inappropriate questions. There are numerous manicure or acrylic stations as well as, well designed pedicure areas. There is even an area for children’s pedicures with tubs designed just for them or a small party of I believe, up to 6 children’s pedicures. Let me tell you a few highlights and such:
* They do take walk-​ins but I recommend an appt. I never have a problem getting an appt. when I need one.
* They offer complimentary beverage like sodas, water etc. They also have wine or champagne yet; since I’ve not indulged in this I don’t know if that is also complimentary — but it’s available. (Some nail places make you bring your own and then add corking fee — not here!)
* It’s CLEAN and the State of TX Cosmetology Board of Licensing & Sanitation approved and recommend, «autoclave» sanitation station is well displayed and prominent for all guests to see. Awesome! If you consider the amount of traffic these places see with clients — keeping a facility of this size clean, is a challenge. They do a fab job!
* The salon is open, with high ceilings so you don’t feel cramped of squished in. The pedi stations are one next to the other however — they are well sized and roomy, with small side tables so, you don’t feel like you’re getting a service with a stranger next to you. *[The reason most nail salons are designed this way with pedi stations is because of the plumbing needed for these tubs, it’s not «just because» they can get more in — although of course, they will utilize what space they have. If they have tiny chairs it’s a lot less enjoyable.)
* You can have a pedi and mani at the same time yet, if you don’t need to worry about time with your appt. then let them know you’d prefer each appt. separate.
* They’re open every day of the week.
* Yes, they so occasionally speak to each other in their native tongue yet I will say that I’ve never in my numerous visits felt it to be anything other then passing conversation in front of me — not «about me» and never ignoring me.
* For what some may be accustomed to with paying for a full set or pedicure & manicure, NoA is a little more expensive. Not «crazy» expensive. Yet, I always ask so I know. I suggest consideration for the care & clean environment as part of the price.

Not impressed… very pricy and for $ 50 (with tip) for a basic manicure and pedicure you would think they could ask if I wanted some water or coffee. I walked in at 9:15 and had same girl do manicure and pedicure took twice as long. Not sure why someone else who was sitting around couldn’t start the pedicure. I work and would have appreciated getting out of their quicker. You are definitely paying for fancy décor and I would rather have a better mani/​pedi. No hand or arm massage and just basic service pedi.

This star it for the environment and brands they carry. They really don’t have skilled nor patient workers except Joanna. None of us will come back even it is so close to our houses.

I do not get the bad reviews on this place! I have gone to the same nail salon for 5 years and my favorite nail tech left to be a stay at home mom 2 months ago and I have been on a daunting search for another nail salon and I found it today! I was hesitant to step foot inside because I could see the interior from the outside and it looked like it would totally bust my budget… but boy am I glad I took a chance!
I had a full set with a pedicure and the cost was comparable to my former salon… and the atmosphere and the service… impeccable. This place is gorgeous! I appreciated all the steps they have taken to ensure things are sanitized and clean… lined pedi tubs, new files.etc. I like the format, pedicure service and manicure service in separate areas of the salon, the beverage service — water, coffee, soda, or juice…(only thing missing is Mimosas. LOL)!
The staff is friendly and despite previous posts speak EXCELLENT and fluent English! My nail tech for both my nails and pedi was Ha and she was amazing. very friendly. Like a previous post, I too do not like very much conversation when I’m getting my nails and feet done because I prefer to relax thru the experience and Ha was great and my nails are BEAUTIFUL! I also like the fact the same person handles your entire service.
I am so relieved to have found my new nail care home!

This was my first time here, I was greeted (I was a walk-​in) asked for something to drink, sat in a comfortable chair that massages my whole back while Ami took care of my feet. The wonderful hot stone massage, scrub and lotion massage almost put me to sleep!
The place is beautiful inside with great around the world décor. So glad I found this place I will be a returning customer!

Very nice for a walk-​in nail salon. I had acrylic nails removed, an express manicure, eyebrow wax, and the pamper me pedicure. I was happy with all of my services. Prices are low to moderate. The salon is super clean, nicely decorated, and organized.
I prefer a manicurist not to talk to me too much, and was happy that was the case here. I did an upgrade for the OPI products on my pedi and I did not regret it! You get to sit in an AH-​amazing chair that literally lays all the way back. Overall, the salon was quiet. The staff were careful not to talk loudly or chat during my service.
This will be my go-​to walk in nail salon.

This area is bursting with business opportunities. Am not swayed by someone that offers wine, as you just get 4 little bottles of wine, leave it in your fridge and when you head out the door for a mani or a pedi, open fridge, take 1, put in purse and you know the wine is coming from a bottle you had control over.
Same principle for my digits, want to know how clean tools are, in the process of dropping $ 450 for a fungus that I paid for with a pedicure received from this spa’s competition.
¹⁄₈ inch cuts on 4 cuticles sustained today for a refill. The tech, Diane, was nice, television sets hanging from every corner, big bug eye security camera stared at me the entire time, I asked if that was for security purposes and she stated yes, hmm. Place opened March 8^th and all the brochures had stickers on them where the prices had been raised. They state you will have a warm neck wrap for each manicure, pedicure and nail service, that was not something that was offered to me. Needed no glitter on my refill — that is an additional $ 3, solar refill $ 30, but gentle without nicks would be ideal. Convenient, yes, painful, yes.
