Grand Villas Apartments

Don’t live here if you ever plan on taking out your trash. Over 350 units in the complex and only 1 trash compactor. On multiple occasions I have attempted to take my trash to the compactor and it is completely overflowing, and the sidewalk is covered in trash bags (this happens more than once a week). One place to take your trash is NOT enough for the amount of residents here! I have never lived anywhere with only 1 trash disposal. At least 1 – 2 dumpsters need to be put here throughout the complex. When I think of «luxury apartments» I definitely do not picture seeing garbage piled on the sidewalk because the dumpster is always too full. Other than this issue, it is a decent place to live. Rent is a little high considering it is one of the older complexes in the area, and is not as updated as those next to it, but still runs around the same price.

Good apt, but bad services & rules. Come with 2 apt key, but only one mail box and 1 gate/​garage remote. Have to pay $ 50.00 for a 2^nd remote and no money back. Co. Said you keep that remote. What a surprised! Doesn’t say in the application either. Beware of this, ask first before you submitted!

First off, I must say the staff at this location are pretty great people. Friendly, prompt, and professional. The maintenance staff were very quick to respond.
Apartments are pretty nice, though build with cheap materials. If you try to put a screw into the drywall on a stud, it pretty much just disintegrates. In the year since we moved in the size of the complex has doubled… but not the facilities. Pool is a bit more crowded now during the hot weather.
The company that runs the place will also try to extort you once you move out. We stayed an extra month past our lease at an exorbitant rate, and upon move out Nolan is attempting to charge us for the cheap carpeting in the apartment to be replaced. I doubt any of these carpets make it past one occupant (we got new carpets when we moved in, after the previous resident was there for only a year). Nolan tells me that they last five years (perhaps only in their model displays).
So a word to the wise, Nolan Real Estate will try to pass on as many of their costs to you. Make sure you take pictures of the condition of the apartment when you move in, or out for when they attempt to strong arm you.
