Verona At the Reserve

Been living here for over a year now and find it to be a nice place. Staff is very helpful and nice. Only complain would be that maintenance isn’t all that reliable and take a long time to respond. Other than that I think this place is lovely and peaceful. Never had any issues with neighbors. The rent is a little pricey but worth the amount.

Friendly residents, great facilities, quick maintenance response. Ashley and Terry have been very helpful in the office. Pool is always a fun time.

I’m going to keep it short and to the point. My lease just ended and I have lived here for a year. The office staff is constantly changing! Let’s you know what kind of bitch property manager is running the place. I had a little fall out with her once for having too many people over my apartment on my birthday and yes we were a little loud, but the neighbors were all aware. I still don’t know how it got to her, but she threatened to basically kick me out for any other reports of me having more than 6 people over. There is a black guy that works there he has been there for a while and is actually a nice guy. The assistant is very nice and professional as well. The walls are THIN! I always heard my neighbor singing in the kitchen, restrooms ect. I even heard her sneeze once and I told her «bless you» and guess what I heard back, «thank you». I’ll leave it at that. Maintenance respond very quickly and you will always catch them doing real work to keep the place looking decent. I don’t think there is a pet restriction here because I have seen every vicious breed here that most apartments say no to having while living here and also units with more than two dogs (2 is max per unit), but that none of my business. Some of the people that live here are real assholes and there are a few that are very easy to talk to. Oh and please schedule a walk through at the end… All I will say is that it will save you a lot of trouble at the end of the day. Seriously!

Amazing apartment with s spa feel to it. Apartments modernized with all connections cable, WI-​FI, pool, game room, media room and much much more.

One if my favorite things about living at the Verona is having the same friendly faces assisting as the day I moved in. I have lived in other complexes where the staff constantly changes.

Best place for a single or a family, very friendly so clean best services in the city.

We’ve only lived here about 2 months but so far so good. The property is absolutely gorgeous and they keep it very well maintained. Parking is good too most nights. So far we’re very pleased and we love living here!

I was very excited about moving in when I came and saw how nice the complex was and all of the amenities, especially the really nice gym area. Well having great amenities like a nice gym would definitely make tenants happy of anything in the gym ever worked. Almost all of the workout equipment have TVs but I haven’t been into the gym once when it ever worked (and I’m there almost every day) plus there are always young kids goofing off in the gym which is probably why nothing works. Also almost no one picks up after their dog. I’ve walked outside more than once and a dog had used the bathroom right on the sidewalk. I’m counting down the days until I move out.

The place has way too many dogs and way too much dog shit! notice how the photos, the grass is not green, but rather brown green? Its because it has dog shit mixed in with it! NO ONE SEEMS TO PICK UP THEIR DOG SHIT HERE AND NO ONE CARES EITHER!
I think the owners take their dogs out for a poop late at night when no one is around and leaves it, then when th grass gets mowed, it evenly distributes it all over EVERY grassy area!
The people her are lazy so they take their dogs for walks within short distances, so even outside by the duck pond is covered with dog shit!

O and about the pool area. its so dirty! the jacuzzi had barf floating in it! the water is a murky brownish color. Sooooo Disgusting. I only went there once and grossed out! THE PHOTOS TO ADVERTISE THIS PLACE WAS PROBABLY WHEN THEY FIRST BUILT THE PLACE!

STAY AWAY! DON’T BOTHER!
There is something so inviting about this apartments community, from the well kept common areas, the tasteful pool design, the overall feel of what we all dream of when in search of the «perfect» place to live. I have never heard of this «amazing» place until I was told by my cousin who lives there (#1513) that I should look into it as an option for a short term rental I was in need of. When I first came in, I was struck by the typical friendliness of the management personnel, so welcoming! Right? Well what you don’t know is what exactly they’re welcoming you to, HELL ON EARTH! Such an array of incompetence, lack of professionalism and plain disrespect.
If you happen to get fooled by these fools and actually rent an apartment here, PLEASE! Don’t you dare bringing any guests, even family members, to the pool or any of the recreation areas. They will be humiliated, disrespected and lastly escorted out! You will have no right to speak nor receive an apology for such mental behavior. They stand firm in believing that you and your guests which can not be a party larger than 4 people, including yourself, you have to remain together and I mean attached, for as long as the visit last. I mean, try and see how that goes…
I am literally counting down the days to when my lease is up and I can finally part ways with this disaster. It’s such a shame that the management has the ability to perfect the false impression of their skills to «manage». Stay away! Don’t come here! Don’t be fooled by all the crispness and «state of the art» non-​sense of the grounds. What matters the most it’s the way that you are taken care of as a resident, and here you will NOT!

Firstly, I have never rented before so this is my first experience; and overall I’m satisfied
It’s nice and for the most part well maintained. Checking/​changing light bulbs a little more often probably wouldn’t hurt, but oh well;Maintenance guys work hard though — I see them doing stuff all the time;
Front office staff is great and never had issues with them — always nice and helpful; Pool is beautiful.
Gym doesn’t have much, but you can find all the basic equipment; They also have some kind of yoga/​Pilates classes once a week — don’t know for sure cuz I’m already stunning — I don’t need that stuff ;
Coffee lounge — always a plus! Wi Fi works properly;
Trash collection is 25 $ a month and is very convenient — all I need to do is open my door and leave it out.
They have a game lounge with 2 pool tables; every now and then they have breakfast for residents — not a good enough reason to move in but pretty nice.
Pet policy is pretty standard — 2 per apartment; I ve seen some people having 3 though — you know those things that look kinda like a rat, kinda like a bunny and kinda like a cat but it’s actually a dog — guess they count as half a piece
Parking is OK, you can get a reserved spot for (I think) 25 $ a month and there’s also a detached garage option (I think about 100 $ or so a month)
Whats bad — 1) walls seem to be made of cardboard… I can hear everything! And yes, by everything I mean EVERYfuckingTHING — my neighbors sneezing, coughing, farting, watching/​filming porn… I’m pretty sure they are making big bucks on pornhub and eat a lot of Taco Bell. So my good advice — if you are thinking about moving here CONSIDER top floor — you will thank me later, or at least make sure there are no kids in the apartment above you; if you found my advice useful — stop by and bring me a candy
2) People are assholes (I know it’s universal and I’m not sure if the concentration of fucktards per square foot here is higher than average but it’s still annoying) No one seems to pick up their dogs’ shit; and it’s A LOT of shit — I’m telling ya
May be people can’t read but it seems like no one gives a flying fuck about no glass at the pool rule — so you will see plenty of people playing annoying music as loud as possible and sipping on their Coronas.
No smoking in the pool area seems to be too hard for people to understand either.
You are supposed to put your trash out after 6 pm Sun– Thur yet there are plenty of mentally challenged folks who put their trash out on Friday morning — yup, it only gets picked up Sunday night so you get to enjoy all the bugs that it attracts, leave alone lovely odors — our neighbors have a baby and a toddler — I just LOVE how heated poopy diapers smell, doesn’t everybody?
No one ever cleans grills after using them — because why, right? Common courtesy? Nope, never heard
There’s also ‘no pets at the pool area’ — sadly there are ‘people’ who let their pitbull run unleashed… just saw that yesterday and that wasn’t cool; I’m pregnant and didn’t want to confront a bunch of drunk 20something guys — I’m glad I’m not allowed to carry a gun — otherwise it would end up on the evening news.
With that being said — no one enforces the rules because well all the shit happens at after hours… oh and plenty of obnoxious fucks who aren’t even residents that bring half a dozen of kids and act like they own the damn place — delightful!
I ve just read one Unilocaler was upset about the management not letting them bringing a dozen of people to have a pool party — well, suck it up, buttercup!
3) they don’t have a playground for kids — I would love to see less kids at the pool… at least sometimes. Because well… everybody likes those running-​screaming-​farting-​burping-​whatnoting kids when you are just trying to enjoy your weekend, grill your ribeye and drink your beer — right? You would think parents would give a shit — nope, they don’t;

These apartments are the best I have ever lived in! The layout and design of these apartments are quite amazing! The kitchens are large and spacious with lots of counter space and cabinets. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself. I agree with previous post about all the extras you get. It is a pleasure to live somewhere where the grounds are beautiful!!! Let me also say these apartments are built very well. These apartments are very quite facing the lake and pool area, which is rare in most apartment communities. Upon move in management greets you with a welcome home package filled with all kinds of goodies to welcome you to your new home. Love this place!!!

I’ve lived at the Verona since November 2011 (year and a half total). The other reviews describing the poor insulation between the units are spot on. I can hear everything from normal conversations, peeing, sneezing, etc… to the fights and make-​ups. I lived on the 1^st floor so I could have an attached garage (thank goodness, because there are a lot of break-​ins) and it sounded like an elephant lived above me. The unit next to me had a couple dogs that barked incessantly and it took an entire year of verbal complaints and documentation to finally have these people taken care of. So be prepared for a lot of noise.
The grounds are well kept, but the unsupervised children and partying 20 somethings definitely keep the grounds crew employed cleaning up after them.
The pool: enter at your own health risk… the hot tub is overrun with kids. The thought of going in it just gives me the heebie jeebies, as I can only begin to guess at the amount of pee those kids are putting in there. It’s pretty much a kid fest ²⁴⁄₇.
