Came here on a whim after finding it on Unilocal. They have a small menu with Vietnamese food items, a simple menu. I got the phở with rare beef. They didn’t have one with tripe which I was sad about. It came out pretty fast and had decent flavor. Service is ok. It gets pretty busy during peak hours. Prices were decent, roughly 8.75 for a small bowl. Parking is out front and usually a spot is open. Overall decent place.

Actual rating is a 4.5, but I’ll round up for these guys ;) This place used to be okay-ish compared to the phở place across the street at the theaters… however recently(within the past 3 months) something changed and they had a SIGNIFICANT increase in quality and service. Service still isn’t 5 stars, probably around 3.5−4 but it’ll do. The main part about this review is about the FOOD! And their Phở and vermicelli are top notch! I often stop by for take out lunch, and dine in dinner. Since the phở place across the street increased their prices, I started coming back to Phở One and have not regretted it! Their soup has become more flavorful and rich(was a little watery before). The people seem to be more accommodating(although they usually don’t pay attention to water levels). And the prices are still pretty good :)

Horrible service. H O R R I B L E. I don’t know if management changed, because it seemed so much better before… Our appetizer came 20 mins after our meal. In fact, I was completely finished with my meal, and the appetizer – SPRINGROLLS the easiest thing to make came out. No explanation, no apology. Nothing. The waitress kept saying«it’s coming.» But of course it’s coming, it’s been ordered. The question is WHEN? I asked to speak with the manager – again nothing. I am so disappointed. And although the food is ok, I am never returning again. I would rather drive further to receive better service.

Dirty! Walked in to dine and was seated right away by a female server who appeared to be rude and in a hurry. I felt like we burdened her for coming in. She sat us at a table where it needed to be wiped down and there was an empty Starbucks cup(I’m guessing from the previous customer) that needed to be thrown away. The server was so busy that she didn’t realize she sat us at a dirty table. I told her about it and she looked at me with a face that seemed to be irritated of me(nonverbal expressions are just as strong as verbal expressions, by the way). So we didn’t even bother to order and walked out.

First I would like to say my cousin and I were greeted at the door and we were sat down as soon as we got in the waiter gave us the menu and gave us a couple mins to order I had some questions about some of the items that were on the menu he answered all my questions. Second we got our food the waiter put it on the table carefully so none of it dropped I had gotten the number 28 chicken phở I added the fresh veggies on it and then the fiery taste of sriracha sauce and finally the sweet taste of oyster sauce I stirred it all together till it was ready to eat I got a spoonful of noodles and broth in it are some and immediately tastes the phở true potential as I have tasted every flavor of the broth But lastly I love how the waiters came back everytime to check if you needed water or anything else I would definitely come back to this place it’s also across the street from the movies so it’s a nice dinner place for a date and a movie afterwards

For a satisfying and affordable meal after the movies, consider Phở One Kapolei across the street, free and easy parking right in front of the shop next to Assaggio’s on Kamokila Blvd. The restaurant accommodates around 80 people mostly along the window line & including some larger tables for 8 – 10. There is also a restroom. Be careful if you sit at one of the tables with the exhaust vents above them because you may hit your head. That would surely spoil your experience. The menu presents an abundance of options from appetizers, salads, a variety of soups and noodles both hot and cold. There are also stir fried dishes and rice combinations, curries, and sandwiches. Desserts comprise the entire back page of the menu including tapioca, smoothies and coffees. My husband ordered mixed seafood phở with scallop, shrimp and calamari, but he had to add sauces to his taste. I opted for the rice vermicelli in crab meat broth. He preferred the dish I ordered. Tender noodles, shrimp, fishcake, tofu, tomatoes, green onion, bean sprouts and basil garnished with fresh cilantro and roasted garlic /onion chips combined in a flavorful but thin crab meat broth. It was a little challenging to pick up with chopsticks the slippery noodles in soup . If we are in the area we would return, but we will try some of their other offerings.

I’ll give these guys 5 stars for being open on Christmas Day, thanks. And the food does taste great. However, I wish they would keep the restaurant clean. I must say that to call the place filthy would be an improvement. Everything is really really dirty; walls, chairs, floor, doors, decorations, a/c vents, ceiling & especially the restrooms. It’s hard to enjoy good food when everything around you is super dirty. If they are not doing any cleaning in the front, I can only imagine how bad the kitchen must be. Sorry Phở One Kapolei, but it’s the naked truth. If you were located in a 3rd world country it might be normal, but, ya, your not.

Every Sunday when I wake up really hungover after drinking all night long this is my favorite place to come and eat phở and drink one Corona. My girlfriend likes to try other things other than phở. I will highly recommend if you’re a big aficionado of phở come here you will expect but the best.

This Phở place is located across of the Kapolei Theaters next to Assagios. Parking is limited, but there’s street parking on the side. Air-conditioned and has bathrooms. Spacious inside with bar. Menu is a decent size with shabu shabu as well. Prices are reasonable and service is kind and friendly. Phở is good, but I prefer Phở and Company. Tried this place with my friend and she loves this phở spot. The hours are good also 10am-10pm, on a Saturday.

Best Phở in Kapolei!, waiters are always nice and the service is consistently quick. Food is always tasty! We go for dinner here every weekend and have never had a bad meal.

Sometimes the phở is very good, other times it’s just OK. I normally order the bun and on my last visit it was not as good as it had been a few months ago. My Vietnamese wife always orders the phở and likes it. Portions are ample. The restaurant is spacious, up-scale for Vietnamese restaurants on Oahu, and the restrooms are well-kept up and clean. If you’re already on the leeward side and don’t want to drive in to the original Phở One on Kapiolani this is a good substitute but if you absolutely, gotta have, a guaranteed top-notch bowl of phở I’d drive into the Ala Moana area to their original location

I went there With my son And like many mentioned had to seat ourselves and then the dude comes out NOTTHERE! HERE! Ordered noodles and BBQ chicken, phở and spring rolls, phở was good rolls ok, and then my chicken showed up and it was garlic chicken instead of BBQ ! Which was ok with me till I tasted it! it is rancid and greasy!!!, I told the waiter and he say«sorry I don’t do the kitchen«I didn’t touch it, my son finished his phở and we proceeded to pay; I brought my chicken dish and told the cashier(manager) about the incident and he IGNOREIT! and just gave me the bill, I told him that with that kind of service they wouldn’t last long ! I was not trying to get comp just wanted to bring the issue to his attention ! I WILLNEVERSETFOOTINTHEHIDEOUSPLACE. Rude dirty and obnoxious !!

This is my husband and i’s favorite phở place. Is it the best phở I’ve ever had? Not really. Is the service amazing? It’s good but wouldn’t call it amazing. So why is it our favorite? Location. For a Vietnamese restaurant it is very spacious, has a clean bathroom and it doesn’t stink. There’s never a wait for a table. Food comes out at a reasonable time. Food itself is, eh it’s ok. Soup is tasty enough, spring rolls are pretty good. So yup, we’ll be coming here to take care of my phở fix from time to time. No wait, clean tables. Good food.

Went back twice sine my last review and things were better. Greeted and served promptly, nice hot phở came to our table in a timely manner and we were looked after constantly. And as usual the place is clean, good space within the restaurant and has ample parking outside. It’s a good place to visit on a rainy or cold day when you want something warm in your belly.

Second time here. This place is definitely in my top(5) favorite Phở places(in Hawaii). Friendly staff, quick service and it was fairly busy(half the restaurant). Water was always filled once it was half way. They took our order within 5 minutes, food came in about 10 minutes. We ordered one combination and one phở with rare steak and spring rolls, and iced coffee. I absolutely love their soup base it was a bit sweeter than most I’ve had. The spring rolls tasted a bit different, didn’t really care for it(a bit sour, NO it wasn’t spoiled lol) It’s also one of the nicest ones we’ve been to and there’s a bar, and lots of parking. Overall when we’re in kapolei and want phở/Vietnamese this is now our spot. They also have shabu shabu!

Great spot for Phở when you are in Kapolei! The broth here is yummy! It’s located right by Assagio and seems easier to find parking then the other phở spots nearby. The menu looks like they have variety of things. The papaya salad looks good! They also have shabu shabu too! Friendly and good service here.

First time eating at this location and off the bat this place is nice. Real nice furniture and the music gave it a real nice feel. It was busy so the service was real slow. It took the server 15 min plus to get our orders. It’s hard to tell who works here because servers aren’t in a uniform. Our waiter never bothered to write down our order. I got the large combo and there was nothing special about it. I also got some steak and rice. The steak was well cooked and well seasoned. Overall it’s a regular phở place.
