Jun’s Tinting

First off I have to say, I am stunned at the great job Jun did on my brand new Honda Fit. The window edges are perfect and no bubbles.
His work was clean, he was punctual (early in fact), communicated with me, and he has a very pleasant demeanor. I will definitely use Jun again on my next mobile tint job. 5 stars all the way!

This guy is great!!! He came to my house, did an amazing job, and got our car legal for well less than any other shop I called. He was very professional, quick and fixed up our previously terrible and illegal tint job. Quality work + great price = MUST CALL.

I drove my new car in after work traffic and realized just how important window tint is in Hawaii! I asked around for referrals and one of my friend’s told me about their great experience with Peter from Jun’s Tinting and how he is mobile and can work out of your garage.
I messaged him through Unilocal and he was quick to message back with an estimate. I decided on the ceramic tint for my windows and front windshield. The price was fair and we set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment, Peter arrived on time and set out to work, but then discovered he didn’t have a tool that he needed so we had to reschedule. That was a bit of a pain, but he was apologetic and we’re all only human.
The second time around the tint was applied without a glitch and he lowered my bill to make up for the first mishap. I’m very happy with the tint. It looks great! Would definitely recommend!

Peter, did awesome job to my Q5. love that he can come to your home or office as long as there’s space for him to work. Very friendly, also bring in chart of the different tints and let’s you know your best recommendation.

I got xpel clear wrap applied on the full front end of my new Tesla Model S along with the rocker panels, door handles and door edges. It looks great! I HIGHLY recommend Peter at Jun’s Tinting. He came to my house, worked in the hot garage all day, then came back the following day to check on it. He did a great job, was quick to get back to me when I asked 5 million questions, and I can tell he really takes pride in his work. Even my regular tint guy who also does wraps (but not xpel) was really impressed by the job he did.
I would definitely use him again!

Peter did a good job. Scheduled an appointment and he showed up on time. Pricing is comparable to others, but I liked the idea that he is mobile. It’s been two days since the installation and so far have zero complaints.
I will definitely use him again.

I have used Jun’s Tinting on more than one occasion. He tinted my last car and I was quite impressed with the quality of his work. The tint outlasted the life of my vehicle.
So when I purchased my new vehicle, I knew that I had to have Peter tint it. The tint he uses is super great quality. He keeps his prices reasonable, but the quality of his products and services top notch.

Ive had a real great experience with Jun. Ive had 3 tint jobs done by him because of the high quality of work he offered me each time! He even redid one of the windows when it had some bubbles (which in my eyes couldn’t even notice! How thorough is that!) He also guarantees and stands behind all his work with lifetime warranty too, so I have ease of mind if a problem does come up in the future. He is very straight forward about his price/​services/​material and gave me no pressure as well so I felt at ease each time I came back. Will definitely call on Jun again for my next car!

they do home service. He was on time and did an excellent job on the car. I had the 2 front windows of my brand new 2015 odyssey done. I can’t see any minor blemishes common in tint jobs. Job took about an hour. He gladly answered any questions i had and best of all he cleaned up extremely well on the interior and exterior of the car. Would highly reccomend!!!

I just got a brand new BMW that was less than 1 week old. I decided to go with Jun’s tinting because he did a really good friends Lamborghini Aventador special edition Black Matte and he had pic’s posted on his Unilocal page. My friend is really particular about his cars, so instead of booking the appointment with T&T Tinting, I decided to give Peter at Jun’s Tinting a try.
Scheduling an appointment was very easy. Peter responded very quickly and my appointment was set. Since my garage is a gym, I did not have an open garage for Peter to work in, he offered to do the tinting service at his friends shop in Kapolei.
On the day of my appointment, I dropped my car off and 2 or so hours later, my car was complete. Yay, that was fast. My last car took 4+ Hours at T&T. When i went to pick up my car, we noticed a few air bubbles and Peter advised me that those would go away within a week or so. We then noticed small particulars within some of these bubbles on at least 3 of the windows. I was starting to get a little bummed out because this did not happen with T&T Tinting. The ultimate winner was when I drove off and then noticed that there were scratches on my drivers window. He thought perhaps his squiggy or whatever may have made those scratches on the tint.
I immediately called Peter and he responded quickly, I was so upset at this point that I just asked him to take the tint off which is did the next day. However, the scratches were still there!!! Scratches on my brand new BMW Window!
Again, called Peter and he returned my call. At this point, he would not admit to being at fault for the scratches and said that I may have done it with my seat belt or that the scratches were there already and when he pulled off the tint they were more obvious. Whatever, I am NOT a tint expert, all I know is that the car was less than a week old, I had no scratches when I dropped the car off and there was no way a seat belt could have made those type of scratches.
Peter then offered to pay half of the cost to fix the window, he said for customer service and he refunded my money.
Next day, took my car in and they basically had to replace my entire window and had to get a loaner car for an entire week while this took place. I was also told that some door parts were not put back on correctly, but let’s not even get into that.
All in all and scratch aside since he may or may not have done it as he said. The tint job was done very poorly with multiple dust particles underneath the tint. I am sure that he does do good work since my friends tint was awesome, but perhaps he was rushed that day.
For me. Lesson learned, I will go to the tinting shop who has never failed me in the past and that does stellar work on all of my cars.

Damn. I would give no star if I could… BTW he has no business location for a reason. He comes to your place and use your plug to do the job. I am the type of person like to give business to the newbees, Jun sounded like a nice person, so I wanted to give him this business, also review on here was all good. Called him, made an appointment for him to come do this at my house. I got ready at 7 in the morning so I can meet him at 8 am. He called me at7:55 and told me he’ll be late, I didn’t mind him coming to do the job, even if I have to wait, but the way he approached it, didn’t seemed right, He said I should reschedule, since he thinks he maybe here like 10 am instead! when he was supposed to be here at 8! I canceled all my other appointments and arrangements for this! So I told him, I will reschedule, and was so glad that I didn’t go do this with him, since (he offered life time warranty on this tint) I see no future with this guy for warranties what so ever. If he can’t keep appointments with his customers, and late, how in the world his going to keep life time warranties on your car tint window! He doesn’t even have a facility where you can go and find him! AT THIS POINT! I AM JUST SO GLAD I DIDN“T DO THIS WITH HIM! THANK GOD…

I work for the exotics dealership in town and am always pleased with the quality of work that Jun puts into his service. All of our customers have been happy with the outcome of the tint jobs on their cars and I certainly recommend Jun’s tinting to the public or other dealers.

I recently bought a new car and had a superb experience with Jun’s Tinting services. Peter was able to accommodate my schedule and come directly to my house to do the job. The result was fantastic– it’s been a few weeks since the tint and I definitely notice a huge difference. My car feels significantly cooler, so I don’t have to use AC most of the time. He even put a nice visor tint on the windshield, which prevents glares from the sun and other cars’ headlights. Living in sunny Hawaii, I would strongly advise that everyone tint their cars. Jun’s Tinting is reasonably priced, professional and most importantly the quality is excellent! Thank you for the great job!

Great services performed by Peter (Jun) owner. He calls his services «mobile-​tinting», so he drives out to wherever your car is with his supplies and puts out high quality work at a reasonable price. Took a little less than an hour for my car. He has an impressive portfolio of cars (many high-​end) he’s tinted if you ask him about it. I personally don’t have a fancy car, but he offers a lifetime warranty– awesome! Would definitely recommend!
