I just had a great experience with Cardinal! Even though I was all the way in Philadelphia these guys were able to communicate and cooperate with me clearly and kindly from a far to get all of my furniture out of my storage unit in Honolulu and on its way here to PA. The reps, William and George, were helpful and fair from the start. Their movers, Male’ and his moving crew, were professional and great too! The whole team made a stressful time for me much easier! Thank you so much! I would recommend and refer this company and their associates to anyone moving. I look forward to and am confident that I will be seeing all of my furniture safe and sound on the other side of the world here soon:)! Much mahalos!

Don’t waste your time even considering this one. They talk a good story but when it comes time to act, you can’t even get and-​mail response. I contacted CMS a couple of months before my anticipated move and told them I would be moving in June 2016. In May, I wrote to tell them my house sold more quickly than anticipated so I needed a quote – no response. I wrote a second time to advise them I would be making a decision in ten days so I need a quote – no response. I called and left a message – no response. Then, two days after my deadline, I got a generic e-​mail asking if they could assist with my move when I was ready. Ummm, NO!

I DID NOT use this company because of the lack of ethics the sales rep demonstrated as well as their refusal to come to my home to do an in-​person estimate. The rep has called several times and sent over 10 emails regarding my upcoming move from Honolulu to Ensenada, Mexico. When I told her that I had selected a different company to do the move because their company wouldn’t send someone to give me an estimate, she told me to use the «tool» they have on their website. I told her that in the complications of all that an international move entails, I don’t want to spend the extra time. So she suggested that I take the estimate the rep from the other company gives me and call them with the total cubic feet and let them give me an estimate from that.
When I mentioned the name Cardinal to the man who came to do the estimate, he told me that they have the worst reputation of any moving company in Hawaii. He suggested I look them up on Unilocal.And this was BEFORE I told him they suggested that I take his company’s estimate and call them so they could use it
THANK YOU to all the Unilocalers who wrote reviews about the nitemares they had because of this company. For everyone who gave them over one star, I know that service can be uneven. I had a mover move me from Mililani to Ewa Beach, a company I had used satisfactorily before for an interisland move, and for this move they were terrible. But at least that company has almost ALL good reviews.
DO NOT use this company! They are unethical rip-​off artists. They are known as rip-​offs by their colleagues.

I should have read these reviews before I booked them. I had them ship 2 cars and a household of stuff from Philadelphia to Honolulu. The service was great getting the sale but after deposits were collected, service has been TERRIBLE. After receiving my items almost every glass was broken. Broken electronics. Just a terrible company!

Started my search back in late November of ’15. Spoke to quite a few companies & Cardinal’s customer service, just over the phone, was already a huge selling point. I spoke to a gentleman named Shan & out of all the companies I called, his approach was gentle, understanding. He offered far more answers & much clearer explanations than ANY of the other companies. Also, out of the 5 or more companies I got quotes from, Shan at Cardinal not only offered BY FAR the best prices, but he was also the ONLY person and company that called me back again in a few days to follow up. THE ONLY ONE!!!
All the other moving companies were WAY more expensive & offered nothing as far as help with packing, ease of paperwork, discounts when using them to ship both household goods and vehicle, etc. like Cardinal does!
Needless to say, I chose to use them & I’m so glad I did! They executed with excellence! Cardinal uses only professional movers, not just day laborers. They threw me no curve balls, had no hidden charges or fees, & they were honest & completely transparent throughout the entire process. My goods & my vehicle all arrived on time!

1-​forgot the day on my moving!!! i was waiting until 10 am when i call them and them forgot!!!
i have a ticket to fly next day !
2-​arrived 4pm and JUST 1 guy!!! me and my mom help him to move!!!
3-​took 2 months to delivery my stuffs!!!
4-​them lost half my stuffs!!! and make me pay all when them arrived in my home and after all, them ask me if was missing something??? sucks!
5-​where my stuffs??? was lost in LA.
6-​them send my stuffs.
7-​new table was scratches, my new bed lost some screws, my new sofa lost some screws

The guys just left after picking up our belongings. They were professional and courteous. My rambunctious 2 & 3 year olds wanted to play with them, and they were great with my children. My son was especially sad to see them go. Everything was professionally wrapped and they handled our items delicately. The whole process was clear cut and simple. Price was as expected. After using 2 different other moving companies here in Hawaii, this was the first company that left us happy. Thank you Cardinal movers!

By the way, I had Cardinal deliver to a storage shed, so I didn’t unpack everything for a while. I have discovered that many of my paintings are missing. If you want things stolen and broken go to this company.
Damn, I keep realizing more and more of my stuff is missing and this is two years later. Among them are photos of my mother and grandmother now deceased. Also gone is a photo of my son and I when he graduated from high school. These may not be so important to other people, but they are not replaceable. Cardinal Moving Systems, you are the pits.

Cardinal Moving Systems was AWESOME in providing outstanding customer service every step of the way for my recent move from Silver Spring, Maryland to Honolulu, Hawaii. All the concern I had initially stemmed from the ratings I read online from previous customers. So, I wanted get the word out to everyone about CMS’s reasonably priced, reliable, professional, courteous service, and delivery in a timely manner. I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere, I am convinced because I shopped around before choosing them. I would highly recommend Cardinal Moving Systems for your next move. All of my goods were assembled CORRECTLY in my home at the final destination. I did not have to worry about a thing. Kudos to William in Los Angeles office for everything. Also kudos to Ronnie Briscoe and his moving crew for the excellent pickup job done in Silver Spring, MD. Stay away these are really bad people they destroyed my mother’s entire shipment from Seattle. We r missing many items and what did come was completely destroyed by water damage. Shippers made us pay final payment before we could inspect load. Company has left us on our own to try and retrieve damages. Everything my mom owned is gone and cardinal does not care.

Our stuff was supposed to leave Oahu on a Matson ship 9/​3, Arrive in Oakland ⁹⁄₉. We were very specific with these instructions when we booked this company! THEY gave us a 1^st delivery date of ⁹⁄₁₈. Well today is ⁹⁄₂₃ and our stuff is in Los Angeles apparently not yet off loaded from the boat! Dispatch said it will take a week to get back to warehouse, then they have to wait for ANOTHER load comming up to Stockton to make it cost efficient… Still haven’t gotten any reply or call back from WHAT CAN I DO TO GET YOUR BUSINESS FRANK

Though it seemed like it took my belongings forever to get here, I must say I was pretty satisfied with Cardinal. The guys (Victor & another guy) who picked up my things in California were polite and took their time to explain the paper work and shipping process to me. It took about 40 days to finally receive my belongings here in Oahu and the 4 men that it took to haul my things up to the 7^th floor of my building were kind and treated my things with great care. Though it was a misfortune that they didn’t carry change with them since I didn’t have the exact balance amount, it didn’t hurt too much to give them a $ 40 dollar tip. Like I said, they were kind and treated my belongings with care. Also when I first contacted the company I was pleased with how patient and informative Shan was with me. I suffer from anxiety and he helped me feel at ease. Overall, thank you Cardinal Moving Systems with helping my first move ever an easy-​ish one.

I have to amend my review although the beginning experience was great .The receiving side is still a disaster we received our boxes 10 weeks they said 45days then mentioned «no we said 45 business days then it was 8 days later then that each box was so beat up it looked like they used them for football practice. 20 pieces of My fine crystal was smashed. They refused to bring a box of mine up saying it was to heavy w books and it would be 6 boxes @$ 25ea to re box it for us. They waited outside my apartment for 3 hours then at 9pm @ night the driver Ronnie who is a scam artist and lied to his company. said I have to pay$ 300 more for a shuttle because his 18 wheeler won’t fit in our complex. Then they walked the stuff from the semi after we paid (minus our 8day late credit @$ 30)
My daughter is still missing two boxes of her le cordon blue books and receipes from all her training and work. It’s her career and can’t be replaced. A claims person Sarah appears to be helpful and filed a claim. There will be no way to replace these items and the lack of integrity of the moving guys and their laziness to bring one box of books up I am certain they found it easier to leave them somewhere. For clarity I have a broken foot and couldn’t participate except marking boxes off as they brought them in stacked 4&5 high on top of fragile and very fragile marked boxes. I told him 3 boxes were not accounted for he said he left them in my garage. He lied. I advise anyone to find another more reliable company if your things matter to you. It’s a shame it started off so hopeful. I hope they find her boxes.

Cardinal Moving Systems has been the best moving company i have ever worked with. They have picked up and delivered orders for me on time and as scheduled. They have the best agents to accommodate my schedule and best rates to work with. It is still to early to write a review seeing as my HHG were picked up yesterday. I’m a fair person. I am also a man of my word. I like to create websites and im a social media fanatic. I have a few short funny videos under my belt. The guys who picked my stuff up were pretty cool. As for everyone else, once I get my stuff I will be sure to hook Cardinal up with everything I got.

Run! Run as fast as you can from these people. We had a horrid experience! Moving from California to Hawaii these people, have lied about most every detail along the way.
We were charged extra by several thousand dollars the day of the move.
We had 11 boxes missing and never to be found as I write this a year later.
We had numerous pieces of fine furniture damaged and one destroyed.
Not one moving box was still square in shape when we received them. They were all round on the corners.
They broke almost all of my grandmothers plates and dishes that were inherited heirlooms.
Then they had to gall to only offer us $ 200 for our claim, with the stipulation that we must not write any bad reviews. This company is crooked and operates a scam.

I did my international move from California to Argentina with this company, It was a terrible experience. After loading the truck and once the had my stuff, they asked for more money than was quoted to me.
Once the shipment arrived in argentina the hadn’t made the corresponding payments for me to take my stuff out the port again! This meant I had to pay for extra days of parking of the container in the port as well as more movements of the containers.
On their email they tell me to pay and that I will be refunded by them, (saying is the fastest war for mw to get my stuff out of the port). I did pay and got all my stuff but it’s been 6 months I am trying to collect the refund from them, I doubt I ever will by this point. If you are considering a move please do NOT use this company

BEWARE this company goes by many names: Cardinal Moving Systems, Hercules Moving Systems, Guardian Movers and maybe more. What can I say that everyone else hasn’t already said? Don’t use this company if you want your stuff in a timely manner. Don’t use this company if you want to get updates on the whereabouts of your belongings. Don’t use this company if you think that talking to polite people is part of customer service. Go ahead and use this company if you don’t care how long your belongings take to get to you. Go ahead and use this company if you enjoy speaking to rude people who hang up on you and give you phone numbers and extensions for non-​existent numbers. And yes, go ahead and use this company if you enjoy getting lied to.
My shipment took 9.5 weeks to get from Hawaii to California, a trip that normally takes about 3 weeks and per their own contract will take no more than 60 days. During this time I was told so many different things: that they had no record of my shipment and couldn’t tell me where it was; that my shipment had arrived in California and would be delivered to me within the week; and then the next week, no, my shipment was not in California it was still in Hawaii and hadn’t left yet. Needless to say, 6 weeks later they «found» my shipment still in Hawaii and put it on a boat.
The only reason for 1 star is the employees who packed up my stuff in Hawaii were very professional, packed everything with care and worked very hard. They deserved every bit of their measly $ 11/​hour salary that the company pays them. The movers who delivered my stuff were nothing outstanding, not as caring, but maybe because they had 3 deliveries to make that day and were rushing. This company does not crate individual shipments that fill less than a shipping container, and they consolidate their deliveries into one truck and drive all over the country. So the chances of at least one of your items going missing can be higher. Also gives people along the way the chance to go through your boxes and perhaps take some valuables? I have not unpacked everything yet but so far nothing is broken. But I am missing one box, with tools in it no less, which seems to be a common reoccurrence.

Worst moving company on the planet. Made my wife cry!
Didn’t show up on the day they said they would.
Quotes me for 400 feet. Then when it actually got moved said it was over a 1000.
Still didn’t show up in day promised.
So I canceled the service. They then waited 2 weeks and the. Stuck my credit card with the $ 150 deposit.
They refuse to call back or accept ownership for there mistakes!
