Valvoline Instant Oil Change

This was my first time bringing my car here. I usually take it to my dealership but I’m so glad I didn’t today. Everyone is so nice, very very thorough, they even came and showed me my oil level after they filled it up. They didn’t hustle me for other services, but did give me a list of recommendations at the end. I’ve been in the automotive industry myself for years and was very impressed and satisfied!

I had originally planned on going to State Line Nissan but because it was the 4^th of July holiday weekend I knew it wasn’t a good idea. I knew it would be crowed. So I Google oil changes. I was going to go to Jiffy Lube off 135^th street in Martin City and I saw a few of the reviews and changed my mind. I saw in one of those reviews, that they referenced Valvoline as their choice on State Line Road. I was skeptical but decided to go this route. I was very happy with the service. The service guy, Kevin took care of me. He didn’t try to push the most expensive grade of oil. My Maxima takes Syntheic Oil blend which is highly recommended. So I went with it. He checked my air filter and told me that it wasn’t necessary to replace it and he showed it to me. The Hepa filter really needed to be replace and he showed me that and he asked me about my wipers and I told him to go ahead and replace. They took care of me and if you’re a skeptic like I was, don’t hesitate especially if you’re used to going to the dealership.

I hate it when I take my car into the shop for an oil change and they try to upsell me expensive oil that’s inappropriate as well as other stuff I don’t need.
Valvoline never did that. They offered me a choice of oils, gave me a coupon discount and were done in 15 mins. Quick, affordable, nice guys.
What more do you want from an oil change place? They have my business going forward and they are very convenient — just off State Line
