Midwest Triathlon Coaching specializes in helping triathletes accomplish their goals and has coached more athletes than any other coach in the area since starting in 2007.

History

Established in 2007.

Starting with a few athletes, MTC has grown to become the largest and most successful triathlon coaching organization in the Kansas City area. Our athletes include beginners looking to get in shape to do their first triathlon or running race and others who qualify to represent the USA at World Championships!

Meet the Business Owner

Ken W.

Business Owner

Ken has been doing triathlons since entering a short event in 1992. With no athletic background and no idea what to do, it was a very humble beginning to what has become a passion in his life. Since then, through progressive, consistent training and study Ken improved his performance. The highlights of his competitive career include 8x Ironman finishes including two trips to the Ironman World Championships — 2002 & 2006, an Ironman PR of 10:04 (59 minute swim, 5:19 bike & 3:39 run) and a multitude of Half Ironmans and marathons

Midwest Triathlon Coaching has helped more athletes accomplish their goals than any other coaching company in the area. Since the 2007 season MTC coached athletes have raced over 35 Ironmans and 125 Half Ironmans. With Ken as their coach over 50 athletes successfully completed their first 70.3 Ironman in the past three seasons.
