I called them before hand to book an appointment, and they said it was walk-​ins only. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice everything was. It has an old style barber shop atmosphere but with all new and modern furnishings and construction.
As soon as I walked in the door I was asked if I was there for a hair cut. I said yes and one of the gentlemen had me seated in one of the many barber chairs immediately. Wow!
He took great care of me and found out exactly what I wanted. He checked with me throughout the cut to make sure I liked it so far. There were about 5 or 6 other barbers there that Tuesday. All of them were cutting hair and chatting amongst themselves and with the customers. After he was done with the cut he ran a straight razor on the back of my neck with warm shaving cream. Nice! Then he trimmed the sides of my beard and my eyebrows at no additional charge. Good price ($ 18.99) and good people. It was a very pleasant experience and one of the best hair cuts of my life. Thanks Craig, I will be back!

Love this place, have been a loyal customer for years! Has that old barbershop feel with great conversations and sports on TV’s. The best barbers in South KC without a doubt and the price is so much better than those places right across the state line in Leawood. If you have wanted to find your go to Barber Shop for years to come than this is the place! They even have a customer appreciation BBQ during the year!

So much better than the chain haircut places, it’s an actual barber shop and if you’ve never been to one you can’t do much better than this place. Price is the same as the chain places, but the haircut is twice as long and is better than any I can remember having in the past.

Love everything about this place. It has that actual barber shop feel, not like your sister’s salon. Gilbert is my go-​to guy and has been for over a year! For the quality and time put into every cut, the price isn’t bad at all compared to a lot of other shops in the area.

Yep, this is the real deal. Modern, clean, friendly, reasonably priced. They are very professional and include razor detailing, vacuum cleanup, and intelligent conversation. I am here in a business trip but now wish this could be my regular barber shop.

Good old-​fashioned barber shop. Four chairs and barbers. Walk in and wait for an open chair. Sports on three TV’s. Suckers for the kids.

Best barbershop in south Kansas City! They have great TVs and free WiFi just ask for the password. Suckers for the kids and a customer appreciation day that is out of this world. I even got some free tomato plants there one time.
