Our goal is to support the KC Coffee community. What does that mean? We do not serve lattes and mochas but we are here to help you brew the best coffee you can. We can help you find the pour over brew method that is right for you or show you how to get the most out of your home espresso machine. Perhaps upgrade to a new model. We love to answer coffee questions for the coffee curious.

History

Established in 2011.

We are in the coffee and espresso service and repair business and saw a need to help the coffee consumer become a successful coffee brewer at home.

ATC is an amazing place for anyone who is curious about any and all things coffee. There is a whole room full of coffee gadgets, brew equipment, accessories, and a wall of demo equipment that the staff is more than happy to show you. It’s basically a really inviting, hands-​on retail space.
It’s not a coffee shop, but they do love to offer you a cup of coffee when you walk in the door. They want you serve you a cup that you will enjoy, so they ask questions about what qualities of a coffee you enjoy. If they don’t have an answer to your coffee questions (which would be surprising), they are more than happy to figure it out with you. Very unpretentious and comfortable.
They also do free demos. It’s nice to have free education in an age where everything seems to have a price tag.

Have you seen some cool coffee gadget online and were afraid to pull the trigger? ATC allows you to get your coffee stained hands on those gadgets and see what they are all about. Marty and Tooti are very supportive of the Kansas City Coffee Community.

Probably the coolest place. Tasted a great blend they were carrying from Oddly Correct Coffee. These guys really know how I source for the best coffee. Also learned about brewing my own good cup of chao. Going down the slippery road of making another food item a hobby, checked.

This shop is in some sort of warehouse area in Kansas City. I had thought it was a coffee shop, but it wasn’t. Even though it wasn’t a coffee shop, they were very hospitable and made me some pour over drip coffee from their stash. I was really impressed how nice they were. I also had some of their Iced Drip Coffee, tasted very crisp!
Mainly this place is for the Lab, which does marketing for the local coffee and high end spirits. Also the main part of the business is fixing coffee machines. Additionally they have a little room full of different coffee trinkets and things. Really worth the visit to meet these nice individuals. If I would ever need any machine to be fixed, send it to them!

Driving up to this place (for Caffenine Crawl’s After Party), I wasn’t too sure of where to turn. But, lucky the door was open and the food truck for the party was there. So, I knew right were to turn!
There is plenty of parking. Since its at a dead end and you can park on the street.
The staff there was spectialier! They know what they are talking about. The products they have in there, are awesome! I am coming back to get filters and grinders and whatever my little coffee snob self will need. I am thinking grinder is next in line.
I am looking forward to make this little shop, a fun run!
