We had a great lunch here. I had the chicken saltimboca and it was perfect. My wife had the seafood pasta. I Good food and the service was good. Very friendly manager and she waited on our table. The cook also came out to say hi. I can’t understand why this place doesn’t have better reviews. I compared well to my favorite place in Honolulu and better than that in Kailua. Addendum: back for supper tonight. The clams were sweet and rib eye tasty. It was busy and took about about 10 minutes to get much attention but after that things were bang on time.

Had a great meal in a terrible environment. It was like or worse than a sauna. At least in a sauna you can take your clothes off. But, we, a party of 6 suffered through a great meal. Fanning an trying to eat as fast as possible, so we could et the hell out of there. Too bad.

Often came here when I lived in Hawaii and has a coworker visiting for the day from Kauai and thought we would go here for lunch. We let the waitress know we were kind of in a rush but had about 40 minutes. There were only 2 other tables occupied as we arrived about 1:15. We both ordered sandwiches and after about 15 minutes the waitress came by and said she only had 1 cook and he got way behind making multiple appetizers for another table. We asked if it could be ready in 10 minutes(we are just talking about sandwiches here) but she said no as the chef is all alone and behind. We asked what could be fast and she said soup or salad so I ordered their chopped salad and she said«oh no not that one just the Cesar salad»… Really? She was very apologetic and super nice and although we know it was not her fault when the restaurant could not even keep up with 3 tables then something is wrong. Needless to say we left without ever getting our food. Luckily we got the bread and olive spread so not a total waste of our time.
