WORST experience with the manager at this store yesterday! I had a coupon that was from a app on my iphone, she would not take it because she insisted that it was a stolen coupon! I used this app at a Payless store the day before and it was not a problem! If the coupon will scan I just don’t see why it can’t be used what’s the purpose of these apps if there not accepted. I just didn’t like the attitude that she was giving me I will never be shopping here again!

My daughter needed schools shoes, specific to her dress code. Her old ones were on their last limb. On our way home from school, we made a bee line for Windward Mall’s Payless Shoes in hopes of finding a replacement pair. Upon our arrival, salesman Tyler asked if we needed help and what we were looking for. He led us to the right aisle and handed me a 20% discount coupon to use continually until November 1. His co-worker was also helpful. Throughout the process, he checked back in and was able to answer my questions and concerns(daughter’s size, ability to exchange in case we purchased the wrong color for her school). We decided on a pair, I tried on a few sandals and made our way to the cashier. We checked out quickly, using the 20% discount and left the mall. Parking, as always, is a little tight in certain areas of the Mall, but we always find a space. We just need to walk farther sometimes, which is fine. Great experience. I was pleased to find the shoes she liked, the right size, color and decent price point. I paid a little under $ 20. That’s a deal considering she will wear these shoes every day until they are on their last limb! I was even more pleased with the level of service provided by Tyler. Great job — keep it up! My only ‘bummer’ observation… It’s probably a matter of current fashion/style/trend…but I miss black, strappy shoes for women. The selection nowadays is slim(in general) and the prices are so much higher than they used to be. I was spoiled by Payless’ prices back in the day. When you could get cute shoes for $ 15. I found a couple pairs, but they just weren’t as cute as the black, strappy sandals I’ve found in the past. I’ll keep looking :)

I love this store. The manager is great. The employees are great. I don’t go there often, but when I go to the mall I make a point to stop in there. One, because I love shoes, and two because they are so friendly. After the manager helped me replace a pair of shoes my dogs destroyed she remembered my name ever since and I was pleasantly surprised about it. The only thing I hate, hate, hate is that when I go into the store to look for a nice pair of shoes, the heavy duty shoplifting censor tags are always in random spots in the the shoe. I know they’re supposed to go on the seam so they don’t punch random holes in it, but I’ve found like two shoes that were punched on the seam. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s hugely annoying to me when I’m looking for a nice shoe for my work or for an event or whatever and all of the shoes in my size have these random holes in the toe or the heel or the side of the shoe from the censor tags. I was told the employees would be talked to about it, but when I went in today to find a new pair of shoes I saw the same random tagging in all the shoes I looked at.

This location is located on 2nd floor of windward mall next to the movie theaters. I have been shopping at Payless shoes for many years. I am not a shoe whore but I do love shoes! My boyfriend always says to me «why do you need so much shoes?» lol most of us women need options of color and style :) This store is normally well stocked. Always clean and organized. Every time I shop here the employees are always helpful and greet you as you walk in the door. Good variety of shoes from infants to adults. They also have slippers, socks and bags. Good time shop is when they have sales. the BOGO sales are Buy One Get One ½ off. I miss when the sale was Buy One Get One FREE! I will always continue to shop here! Unilocal 31 Review Challenge #2/31
