Phở is awesome. This is a good, plain, walk up shopping center restaurant. Nothing special, except the Phở… amazing!

Since I live nearby, I order food from here all the time when I’m craving phở. Even if I’m cramming for tests and exams late at night, this is my absolute favorite place to order food and take out from. When I dine in, the people here are super friendly and they make you feel right at home. To add on to that, their food is spot on delicious! My favorites are the seafood phở and the spicy beef plate. You definitely won’t be disappointed! :)

The oldest child wanted phở before she left for college, so I checked out my Unilocal app to see what was in the area. Saigon Noodle House was the highest rated place in the area, so that’s where we went! Saigon Noodle House is located in the Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center. It is closer to Safeway in the parking lot. There are a lot of stalls available. The stalls can be a little small and the lot can get crowded around lunch and dinner time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated. The restaurant fits about 10 tables, a variety of 2 and 4 seaters. It is very clean. There is a large menu board with pictures of various plates. The complete menu is large and has phở, summer and spring rolls, vermicelli, noodle plates, garlic shrimp, teri chicken, and so much more. There really seems to be something for everyone! The menu is separated into sections of the different items that I mentioned. The phở section has a guide for beginners to ordering phở. Excellent! We ordered chicken summer rolls, shrimp summer rolls, phở with beef and tendon, a combination plate of teri chicken and garlic shrimp, and a garlic shrimp plate. Our food came out quickly. The summer rolls were delicious and the sauce tasted like pure peanut butter. I was full after eating one roll! I had the chicken and garlic shrimp combo plate. It came with a side salad, an egg roll, and jasmine rice. I LOVE jasmine rice! The salad had no dressing, but I ate it with the chicken, so it was good. The shrimp had a good amount of garlic & that made me happy! The chicken was tasty. The portion size was large, part of it went home with me. I didn’t try the phở, but I hear it was delicious & part of it also ended up in a takeout container. The price was $ 50 including tip, so I thought it was a good deal for food. Customer service was awesome! Apparently, this place is very popular. As we were eating, the tables were full & people were coming in to pick up phone orders. You can add me to their long list of regular customers!

My personal favorite. The owner is friendly and the food delicious. I order Phở & iced Vietnamese coffee and always feel good when I’m done.

My family loves vietnamese food. We look for good noodles and good vegetarian dishes. It was a first time we tried this place, and we liked it a lot. This place has a lot of good sounding dishes on the menu. My kids liked the vermicelli noodle with tofu and egg rolls. I liked the eggplant lunch plate. The service was fast. But the old lady who carried the food was coughing a lot. That was the only reason i have to take one star away. If a staff is sick, she should not be working.

So this is the second time I been here, the first time took me by surprise because it was so good and really reminded me of my mom’s homemade phở, the second time, just the same, amazing! The broth of the phở is so good, tastes so fresh, and it comes packed with flavor and ingredients. I really enjoy this place and will come again if I’m ever around the area.

Phenomenal Vietnamese food. House special phở was fantastic. Kalbi plate was excellent. Service was very good. Tapioca cups for dessert were out of this world and our boys got a free chocolate one that was great. We will be coming here A LOT!!!

I got the beef phở and my husband got the #14 we split summer rolls as an appetizer(chicken). I could have made a meal out of endless summer rolls — so good! I enjoyed my phở very much and also enjoyed what I sampled of my husbands dish. He favored the beef portion but it was a little salty for my taste and I preferred the chicken. Definitely worth the price. Yummy!

This is our neighborhood phở place that we frequent often and it NEVER disappoints! You always leave full and satisfied. If you are a regular chances are you know the owner by name and he knows yours as well. The food always comes out fast and is delicious. Usually I always get the chicken phở, but I decided to try the Thai Spicy Sour soup last night and it was soooooo good! First off this bowl of soup is massive, I couldn’t even finish half of it. The broth is the perfect combination of spicy and sour and you get to choose between chicken, tofu, shrimp and I think beef. If you’re ever in Enchanted Lake and looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant definitely go and visit them!

Since we discovered this place a few years ago, it is our go to for Phở and noodles. The dishes are always fresh, the veggies are perfectly seasoned, clean, fresh and crisp and the service is very fast. We eat there at least twice a month.

The food here was super delicious. We went here on two occasions: first ordered the house special but I was eyeing the vermicelli bowl with spicy beef & garlic chicken. Let me tell you — I went back the next day to have it and it was DELICIOUS! Perfect flavour(pickled carrots), etc, with generous serving of protein, with an ample serving of cold vermicelli noodles and some fish sauce on the side. Honestly was worth the $ 10+ I paid for it. I miss this phở place, they definitely don’t have the same quality back home here in Toronto. The owners were super friendly — service is face and enough seating. Definitely recommend!

Fab-u-lous. This remarkable family-owned restaurant delivers A+++ food consistently. The ambiance may be modest, but the food far far surpasses it and makes up for it in taste, ingredients, sauces, and prices. I first came here a couple years ago on my last trip to Oahu, and was sure to stop here again. Quality is still perfection. For a wonderful little Vietnamese noodle shop, it doesn’t get any better than this. I particularly like the vermicelli dish, papaya salad with marinated tofu, and chow funn noodles sauteed with fresh vegetables. I never feel too full leaving this place and of course, my wallet thanks me as well! Enjoy!

Saigon is a small Vietnamese restaurant tucked away on Keolu Dr, next to Safeway & McDonalds, serving up delicious home-cooked meals for dining in & take out. I haven’t had phở here yet, but looks super delicious. I mean, as soon as you park your car & step out of your vehicle, the phở broth aroma just wraps you up! You end up wanting to just jump right into that broth! But for some reason, I always end up getting Garlic Shrimp or the Spicy Shrimp for take-out. It’s good, solid, delicious lunch meal– you won’t be disappointed. Service is always friendly & prompt, food is good, restaurant itself is clean & comfortable with a home-y feel. One day I’ll stop by here for the phở!

I have no complaints here. Everything was delicious and service was fast! We came here after doing the pillbox hike in Lanikai. The restaurant is on the smaller side, seating about 20 or so peeps. We ordered spring rolls, chicken, seafood and beef phở. The spring rolls came out in no time followed by the three phos. Our water was constantly refilled and we were checked up on frequently. I was fairly surprised since it was pretty much one guy running the show in the front of the house. He waited tables and took orders like a boss! During our time there, I seen a lot of people come in for take out orders. Must be a popular spot for Vietnamese food. All in all, I would definitely come back next time I’m in town!

Absolutely LOVE this place! So much so that we once went two days in a row and have gone back multiple times thereafter. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is super quick. The place is rather small and can get pretty busy, but we have been lucky enough to be seated almost immediately every time we’ve gone. THEFOOD I’ve tried and would recommend: 1) shrimp summer rolls — super fresh and light, not overly stuffed with the rice noodle which I appreciate! Comes with pickled daikon and carrots. 2) tofu summer rolls — also fresh tasting, but heavier than the shrimp as the tofu is season and fried(I think). Absolutely delicious! 3) shrimp papaya salad — again, super fresh and light, even doused with the fish sauce. Comes with fried onion on top that just gives this dish an extra twang. 4) lemongrass chicken papaya salad — this one is heavier than the shrimp, obviously. It was good and my husband loved it, but I would personally stick to the shrimp. 5) oxtail look fun — ABSOLUTELYPOSITIVELYAMAZING!!! I get this every time(I only once steered away and got it with chicken as I had a slight cold and semi-regretted it). The broth is clean yet rich tasting and it usually comes with an abundance of oxtail. 6) phở dac biet — have tried this off of my husband and the broth is always just right — not too salty, not too greasy, yet flavorful. If you are in Kailua or even on the island of Oahu, I would definitely, definitely recommend.

This time I told them to leave out the crab and the fishcake… broth is very tasty… as a matter of fact I thought it was a bit tooo tasty. maybe too salty… don’t know if they use MSG, but it just seemed a bit strong. People are nice, but if I go again, I’d probably ask for Chinese parsley and maybe some hot water to dilute the broth.

This cute little Vietnamese restaurant is located in the little strip mall in Enchanted lakes. I actually really like this area because it’s not too crowded and has a great variety of establishments. I can’t wait to come back to try the Korean, greek and chinese food places here. There is also a Mcdonalds and a Starbucks, score! This means that there is ample parking, especially during lunch time. The boyfriend and I came to Saigon Noodle House for a late lunch. We ended up running into my boyfriend’s family as they were finishing lunch. Just goes to show how awesome this place is. The mom and pop operation creates a homey atmosphere. The owners also make you feel so welcome and they are very appreciative of the patronage they receive from their customers, especially regulars. We ordered the spring rolls, BBQ chicken with rice plate and a chicken sandwich. It wasn’t the greatest vietnamese food I’ve ever had – the sandwich would have been more awesome if it had more cucumber, it was basically just chicken and pickled daikon/carrot. The spring rolls were alright, but it was served with lots of cucumber and relatively little daikon/carrot. I ended up kinda mixing the two dishes, which was fine with me. I’m sure if I asked, I could have gotten some extra veggies on the side. I’ll probably be back to try some other of the menu offerings. The papaya salad options and noodle dishes looked good. It seems like a great place for take-out too, since the food comes out super fast and the service is very friendly. I laughed a little when I saw«rice gruel» on the menu. I wonder how many people order that! lol… they should rename it «rice porridge» or «jook» or even«rice soup» lol…
