Gigi Lee Photography and Wedding Minister

Gigi did our engagement pictures and they came out beautifully. She has so much energy and is so much fun to work with. She will be my wedding officiant and wedding photographer at the end of the month. I highly recommend her. She was referred to me initially by several good friends in Kailua. She is amazing!

Gigi Lee provided a very pleasant, comfortable and creative Head Shot experience for me. Her insight and expertise were obvious during the shoot and manifested itself in the many great pictures to choose a professional image for myself. I highly recommend Gigi!

Gigi is ABSOLUTELY AMAAAAZING!!! I have to say that when I told my husband and 12 year old son that I had arranged a four hour family photo shoot, they were not too happy with me (they’d rather be playing video games). Anyway, by the time we were done, they were all smiles and both told me how much fun they’d had. Gigi has great, positive energy and she had us running, jumping, laughing, etc. the whole time. We also had no idea what we were doing, so she gave us plenty of specific direction and at the end of the day, had us feeling like pros. The photos she captured of us are absolutely breathtaking and also reminds us of the awesome day we had. Thank you Gigi, we love you! Until the next shoot!

. I actually have photoshoot phobia (similar but not as intense as my haircut phobia!), but she made me feel so natural that it was actually enjoyable. She has a great personality that really helps bring out that natural smile. I normally feel exhausted after a photo shoot but i felt like i could have done it all day with Gigi! It was fun and relaxed. She was very knowledgable about lighting, composition, posing and wardrobe colors, which is good, because I am not. I felt like I was in very capable hands. The pics she showed me were gorgeous and I have seen how good she is at editing. I highly recommend doing your next photo session with Gigi!

Just had a photo session with Gigi. She was very professional and she also made it extremely fun! I normally don’t like having my picture taken but she made it so relaxed that the pictures looked spontaneous. She’s really good at harnessing the beauty of the island too. I have not been fortunate to BE photographed by Gigi Lee, so I’m reviewing her finished products, which are amazing. She manages to capture much more than just the person, people or point in time. Because she is such an empathetic person, the camera is forgotten and the light in the people just shines through. When she is working, you can see the true delight she has for what she does, people pick up on that, and any occasion can become a joyful one. weddings and portraits, single, couple and family, are her specialty. With weddings, she’s got the ability to pick up on what has brought a couple together and what they love about each other and capture that in her lens. It’s magical. She does the same with families, even big groups where normally SOMEONE would be crying, or blinking, or pouting or grimacing, or rolling their eyes, or talking or something guaranteed to ruin the photo op, her pictures are gorgeous, but not fake gorgeous, family gorgeous.
As an aside, she also performs weddings and does hair and make up for weddings and portraits. S he plays the piano and sings. A true renaissance woman. I wouldn’t hesitate too hire her for ANY of the things she does!

Gigi is a very talented, upbeat and very professional. Her demeanor and amazing photographic eye made our family photo session most enjoyable. She was able to capture many photos with our active 11 month old grandson! Her team works together flawlessly — professional, efficient, great photo composition, and working with the ever changing natural lighting. It is obvious that her main goal is to capture her subjects in the best light and best angles! Mahalo Gigi.

Gigi did a wonderful job with my photos! I am very camera shy but she made me feel comfortable and confident and was able to work with me until we found the right lighting, poses and angles. She’s very resourceful and creative. She’s a professional who takes her art seriously and would I recommend her highly.

Wow. Just WOW! I honestly don’t even know where to begin and saying how AMAZING Gigi is, not only as a photographer, but as a genuinly beautiful person! She was the photographer (THANK GOD) for my wedding on 26 May 15 and she was with me for, no kidding, 9 hours. From start to finish she was a professional and fit right in with my wedding crowd. She caught the traditional beautiful wedding pictures, but also took incredible candid shots the entire day! We LOVED having her with us and I can’t imagine having had my wedding without her. If you’re getting married on O’ahu and need a photographer, or need one for LITERALLY anything else, CALL THIS WOMAN!!! We serisouly LOVE her, and her pictures and unparrellel to any you’ll get from anywhere else, in my humble opinion.

This review is long overdue but comes at the nearly one year anniversary of my daughter’s wedding that took place on June 14, 2014. I cannot even begin to express how completely satisfied I was with my choice of Gigi Lee as my daughter’s wedding photographer. Yes, there are so many facets to a wedding and trust me when I say there are so many things to worry about, but if you want to relive that special day, Gigi Lee is the one that will make it happen.
The initial consultation sealed the deal for me. I inquired with several vendors and found her prices less expensive while providing the same inclusive service. She sensed my excitement/​sadness and overwhelmed-​ness with this event and simply took me by the hand and led me through my only daughter’s special day.
Gigi along with an additional photographer captured every single moment from getting dressed, through the ceremony and pretty much all through the reception (this encompassed a window of many hours, mind you it was the day of the Kamehameha Parade). The images she captured throughtout the day was amazing, bringing tears to my eyes as I reviewed the photo sets.
From the dress up at the Ilikai to the ceremony at Kamehameha Schools Chapel and finally to the Coconut Club at the Mariott Waikiki, Gigi left no stones unturned. Without hesitation I highly recommend Gigi Lee as your phtographer for your special day. I could go on for days with this review but I’ll just end by saying thank you Gigi for making the father of the bride shine bright like a diamond in the eyes of his little girl… for that alone I am ever so grateful to you! I was the Best Man in a wedding on Ko Olina Beach. It was a small wedding and Gigi was the Minister. The family decided to have a family member be the photographer but soon realized that group family photos were now impossible. That’s where Gigi stepped in. After performing a beautiful ceremony (complete with a Hawaiian blessing), Gigi quickly took over as photographer (remember, she was only booked to perform the ceremony). She quickly organized everyone and took some amazing shots with someone else’s camera! But she didn’t stop there. She continued to get all kinds of great shots as the sun was setting.
There is no doubt that Gigi saved the day. She is great to work with and was so comfortable, she quickly became part of the wedding party. She is versatile, professional, experienced and quick on her feet to make everything go smoothly. We were extremely lucky to have her there.
If you are getting married on the island of Oahu, you will be glad you had Gigi there.

Outstanding work. Gigi is an incredibly talented artist as well as very patient, kind, funny and skilled at her work. I asked her if she could take a photo of me for my website as well as for business cards etc. Not only did she take the most incredible selection of photos which I love, but she also did a makeover before we started, so I felt a million dollars! Never having had a professional photo taken I was a little anxious as I don’t usually like close ups. Gigi was wonderful in helping me relax and feel at ease both during the makeover which was a lot of fun as well as a huge boost for my self confidence, and during the photo shoot. Gigi’s manner was gentle, kind and supportive at all times as she guided me through the photo shoot together with her wonderful kind assistant Jan, suggesting ways to sit and stand and where to look. As I love the ocean, we even went down the road to the beach where we saw the most beautiful turtles whilst taking pictures. It was absolutely magical!
The whole experience was an absolute delight and joy and I came away with my self confidence increased and a huge smile on my face as well as the most stunning pictures of myself that I have ever had taken.
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough — whether you want photos to use for work or social purposes or a wedding or an anniversary/​birthday etc. Also if you just want to treat yourself to a new self image with a fabulous relaxing makeover and some stunning images. I also found out today that Gigi creates websites so I have asked her to give my website a makeover now that I have great images to put on it. I’m not sure where to begin other than saying GIGI is where it is at for getting amazing photos and having the time of your life doing it!
My hubby and I flew to Hawaii to get married because well, we are gay… anyway, no politics here!
Gigi met us and we did photos in 5 locations, stopped for adult beverages, had breakfast too, and she even had them to us in a very reasonable period of time.
Her personality is one of the happiest, most bubbly personalities on the 3^rd Rock from the sun… .
