Bought a new Adly moped from Aloha Kona Moped four years ago. I’m only here a few months per year, and seldom used this garaged moped (less than 1.000 miles). It wouldn’t run when I returned a couple of months ago. They picked it up, said there was algae in the gas tank. They «fixed» it three times, and I paid them three times. A week after the last «fix» it wouldn’t start after using it just a few times. Called and was told I should start it every day. Never did this in the past. I’ve tried to be polite, and now they refuse to work on it again. Money down a rathole…

My experience has up and down very bi… polar that is… naw hahaha. just kidding. My experience is wrapped like: if you go in there with how much you want to spend and letting them know what you want then everything will be 5stars. if not then you may get great service then again you may pay alittle more. Do I think their better than the previous owner yes (hundreds plus and I say it with authority). How about Scooter Bros yea. But a sincere reliable customer service would make them a 5 star company.
I don’t recommend going in there demanding what you want out of text but within business terms. You know get the best price: deal.
As for the mechanics work goes… It was 4stars only one electrical gremlin that had to be traced down
Parts: sales 4stars no price flucs or anything
I think Aloha Kona Moped has it in them to be a 5 star company but is missing a few pieces.
As of late they do have a pick up service so heads up!

I can’t say enough about this Business, I purchased a theft recovery scooter that was hammered. Because I like a good challenge, Bobby is a wizard with troubleshooting mechanical problems that was beyond my knowledge. Kamakeha the owner always went above and beyond to help me find parts for it. I rode that bike all over this Island before I sold it. When you need Scooter repairs, they will get you on the road quickly. Michael S.

I have bought, rented, and have gotten all my work done by Aloha Kona Moped and have never had a bad experience. It is a family owned business that offers plenty of aloha for those interested in trying out the fastest, fun, and convenient way to travel through Kona and its beautiful scenery. Bob (mechanic and owner) is one of the best moped mechanics in town if not the whole island. He is honest, straight forward and to the point, which is all you can ask for out of a mechanic. Bring your moped here for any tune-​ups, fixes, and or picking up some cool accessories or parts for your ride and leave happy and reassured that you’re getting the best for your dollar. I would highly recommend Aloha Kona Moped and I tell all my friends, family, and or people that are in need of a new way of travel or to just cruise around town.

I purchased a moped from aloha Kona moped and before I had been back home for 30 minutes they called me and informed me that they remembered that the headlight on my moped was out. They told me that I could bring it back and they would be happy to change the bulb out with no charge. I was amazed and their willingness to fix an easy problem and their friendliness while doing so! Definitely recommend Aloha Kona Moped to anyone looking for a quality ride!

Went in there for simple work, ended up with a bunch of half ass labor for top dollar. A week later ended up stranded and when I called to ask if they could fix the issues they caused they never answer. Very dodgey place beware. No aloha no malama. Hope this saves someone else some cash and unneeded stress that’s all.

We rented four mopeds here. Loved the Aloha attitude from the family owned business. They were very accomodating and interested in assuring we had a good time. Good prices, mopeds were in great shape. Mopeds included helmets too. Highly recommend them.
