At Kaanapali Ocean Adventures, we are able to go places that no other boats dare — visiting areas so remote that only a select few ever get to experience what we offer. We provide a wide variety of tours and adventure activities that cater to the interests of all travel enthusiasts.

Hop aboard Insane, the one and only jet boat ride of its kind for an hour of the most exciting, exhilarating, wet and wild fun you’ll experience on the Oceans of Maui! This is «The Roller Coaster Ride on Water!» NO props, NO rudders of shafts smooth bottom, most maneuverable ecofriendly boat that skips across the surface of the waters, doing 360 spins, sharp turns, slides and dead stops.

Our charter boat, Sanity, was custom built exclusively for snorkeling, sightseeing and whale watching. Sanity comfortably seats 32 individuals, has dry storage, and 24 seats are shaded by a Bimini hard top, and has a large clean bathroom on board. During the charter we will have large coolers stocked with ice, water, juices, and various refreshments and plenty of room for extras.

History

Established in 1992.

Previously known as Safari Boat Excursions, Kaanapali Ocean Adventures now serves the tourists of Lahaina.

The previous boat ‘Lanakila’ now known as ‘Sanity’ has also undergone significant refurbishing. In addition to the previous snorkeling and whale watching tours, we have brought in new staff and are opening the business to new and exciting areas. We now also provide custom day charters and jetboating to create an exhilarating and fun experience you will always remember.

Business Owner

Dan has owned and operated several vessels in Maui for thirty five years, starting his career as a scuba diving instructor for the local resorts. He is well known by his peers and community for his expert navigational abilities, safety record and knowledge of «Where the Fun Is» in the ocean waters of Maui. You can be sure to enjoy an exciting, fun and safe excursion whenever you board one of his vessels.
