Description

Specialties

Wikiup BnB is a romantic and secluded five room bed and breakfast 1 mile from downtown Julian. Our rooms offer private entrances, fireplaces, private jacuzzi or hot tubs. Each room has a different theme, ranging from Victorian to contemporary. A hot, multi-course country gourmet breakfast will fuel your day for a variety of activities including hiking, horse back riding, fishing, glider plane flying, and llama trekking.

Julian is a historic, true «Old West» gold mining town with lots of shops, restaurants and historic points of interest. Bring your camera and your comfortable hiking shoes so you can see all the area has to offer.

History

Established in 1990.

Wikiup BnB was formerly «The Smith House», a one room lodging established circa 1986. Lee and Linda Stanley opened for business in January of 1990 as the Wikiup Bed and Breakfast, a one room establishment open mostly on weekends. The fifth and final room was finished late Summer of 2007. We added llamas around 1994 for trekking in the Sierra during the summers, and picnic hikes in the Julian area the rest of the year.
