I’ve been to Julian twice and both times we stopped to check out this shop. It’s a girly shop. They’ve got soaps, lotions, snacks, potpourri, and all sorts of home decoration knickknacks.
There’s a big sign by the door to says no photography, which I found to be a bit offensive. It actually said to take the picture with your mind, not your camera. I get it you plan on selling the pictures for profit, but honestly, as a business, wouldn’t it be beneficial to have people use the pictures on social media like Unilocal or Instagram? As you can see, I disregarded the sign and took pictures so I can show you what the inside of the store looks like.
The solo employee was busy talking to a tourist from the Midwest and didn’t notice me snapping pictures. On this visit I did not buy anything, but I think I did last time, The milk soap I think.
The products are a little pricey, reminds me of Lush, where the soaps and lotions are above the average prices. The potpourris were amazing, but I don’t know how long it would last in the house. You can get a huge scoop, probably 2 cups worth, for $ 14.
During the week the place is dead. On the weekends they have live music and the place is filled with tourists.
Given his place 3 ½ stars, because its quirky. Otherwise, its not the most customer oriented store when you’re browsing.

Dishonest business! Placed an order, they charged my credit card. Waited 7 months. Never shipped and they claim item is back ordered. So why did they charge my card? They say they will refund money but never do! They are liars! Beware!
