History
Established in 2001.
We came to Joseph Oregon to open a bed & breakfast because we love this place. Gorgeous scenery, a vibrant arts community, lots of independently owned businesses, Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Wilderness – it’s just beautiful here and the community is friendly. We bought a Craftsman bungalow and remodeled it into a B&B. Over the years we’ve added on a bocce court, landscaping, a new addition with the Mirror Lake Suite, more landscaping.. .We could have opened a B&B anywhere and chose Joseph Oregon. And we’re still loving it.
Meet the Business Owner
Bill and Heather T.
Business Owner
We are both US Army retired and spent full careers stationed both inside and outside of the United States. We appreciate people from all walks of life.
Bill is our head chef and chief of repair and maintenance. When not in the kitchen, he is working on another project to improve our bed and breakfast. He’s a member of the Rotary Club of Wallowa County and also works outside the B&B.
Heather is the walking Chamber of Commerce (answers a lot of guest questions), chief blogger, lead gardener and keeps the Bronze Antler connected to the world. When not serving breakfast, her oboe takes her to local and regional orchestra rehearsals and performances and local ensembles.
Gloria is our lead housekeeper and makes sure everything in the Bronze Antler is spotlessly clean. We certainly couldn’t do it without her!
All of us believe that service is of utmost importance. Need flowers in your room? Dinner reservations? Event tickets? Let us know and we’re happy to arrange them for you!
