Business Owner

After talking with James, it becomes clear that this accomplished individual didn’t start out this way. There were substantially hard times growing up where he experienced his parents running out of money, including whether food would be available for him at dinnertime. As a kid growing up in Ames, Pizza Hut night with the family was a treat. This uncertainty is something James carries with him still today and an asset he uses as a driving force to help others.

James has excelled at every stop in life. Starting at a Pepsi Cola in 1994, he was almost immediately promoted to sales manager. After getting his feet wet within the insurance industry in the late 1990s, his rise was fast and one filled with inspiration. He went back to earn a Finance degree in 2002. Eventually, James was led into the financial industry where he has spent the last 12 years focused on educating and empowering the public through many types of educational speaking events.
