I am the owner of this business, I appreciate positive and negative feedback, for it helps to improve a business. As far as groupon which seems to be my only 2 negatives on here, I have sold over 500 groupons and retained enough to sustain a business just based off of groupon. I get back to people in a timely manner and people are seen within a weeks time. You can visits groupon and see my rating percentage and all the positive feedback with very few negative. I did not create this account on Unilocal and do not approve f negative comments stating that I should re read my business plan. I have been in business for 9 years, I have a great following with clients who have become like family to me. I am sorry if your calls ere not answered as I did have some issues with my phone carrier for 5 days time and seeing that you both posted on 9⁄9 you fall right into that time frame. If you would like to contact me and you want to schedule at that groupon price I would honor it due to my error, if not there are many therapist in Rhode Island and I hope you find the right fit for you. I have also been completely unable to reach the business to schedule an appointment! I bought the Groupon, excited for the good deal. I called during her normal hours of operation and at various points throughout. Early in the hour, later in the hour, hoping to catch her in between appointments. I left a message but that didn’t help. TOTALWASTEOFMYTIME! Will be requesting refund from Groupon.

I bought a Groupon last week for 90 minutes of massage for $ 85. I have been trying to schedule with Healing Elements Spa & Bodyworks for 8 days. I have left them several telephone messages, several posts on their facebook page and can’t get them to respond! I will be calling Groupon monday to cancel and my credit card company to dispute the charge. I understand they must be extremely busy due to the Groupon but as a business you MUST have the courtesy to respond to your customers who have paid for your service and wish to set up a appointment! You might have a great service but your CUSTOMERSERVICE is TERRIBLE! Maybe you should go back to your original business plan and re– read it. I am sure customers should be one of the first things on it! Remember without customers you do NOTHAVE A BUSINESS! And when you try to rip people off that type of news travels really fast these days!!! IE. Social Media… UPDATE– Its been a week since my review. I have not heard from the company. I have since disputed the charges withy Credit Card company and Groupon. Advise to anyone considering using Healing Elements Spa & Bodyworks SAVEYOURMONEYANDAGGRAVATION plenty of other places around. FYI. Booked another place for 60 minutes for $ 50 bucks. So their groupon was really not a deal!!!

Let’s start with what can be improved for their benefit: a larger business sign visible from all angles of the cross street. GPS places you past the corner of a wig and beauty salon that is actually a door down from this place. Not to worry, when you find your bearing, the owner of the wig/hair salon lets you through his place to the right venue. He leases the space to Healing Elements, that’s why. Let’s talk about the hot stone massage AND Courtney, the therapist. Ah, there’s the rub in the literal sense :) Courtney’s touch is divine. I have had a few hot stone massages but they were so-so. This one was a really good experience for me. It helps that Courtney is gentle, warm yet respectful. She knows when to leave you alone in your state of bliss! At the time of my visit, she was also getting into foot massage, another one of my favorites. I encouraged her to try the few styles I’ve encountered in RI for competitive info and she was very open to it! Courtney impressed me as genuinely helpful, giving me tips on where to roam around the area for dining and even eyebrow threading. I love her place. Not overly decorated, simple, clean and welcoming. I will certainly pay Courtney a visit again and recommend you give her a shot.
