I love Magnolia!!! I am sad to be moving away back to Florida when I have finally found a salon who I trust with my hair and other spa services. Dean has been my stylist for every visit and does such an amazing job! He is very personable and has the skills to do even the most difficult of techniques!
Valerie is the go-​to for any facial or waxing services. The worst part of the facial is when it is over. You feel so relaxed and her touches of a hot stone massage and aromatherapy really make the facial that much more special! You will not be disappointed at Magnolia.
For those with a little time to kill before their appointment, there is a lovely boutique next store to shop for little gifts such as jewelry, scarfs, etc.

If you are looking for a stylist look no further than Jen L! She is AMAZING. A friend recommended her to me and I have been driving from Boston to see her every 6 weeks for over 2 years now and that says a lot. I have blonde curly hair which can be tough and she is just incredible. I always love my hair and get so many compliments on the color and cut. She definitely knows what she is talking about, but she is also such a pleasure to work with. She is so kind, honest, and funny which is also what keeps me coming back. Not only is she my normal stylist, but I am so glad she was also able to do my hair and makeup for my wedding! She was so great during the trial and day of she exceeded my already high expectations! I was so obsessed with my hair and makeup from the wedding and highly recommend Jen for cut, color, style, up-​do, makeup — you name it, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is amazing! I’m going on a last minute trip and the girls there worked wonders! I’ve got a beautiful set of lash extensions and a PERFECT spray tan, all for less than 120 $. They gladly came in early to accommodate my night shift schedule and they were so friendly and fun. LOVE this place and I will absolutely be back!

Salon came highly recommended from a few coworkers. I had high hopes and ended up leaving with the color I wanted. However, as a natural brunette, my roots are VERY dark compared to the blonde color I get. I was disappointed to leave still seeing some of my root, and just found out from a stylist from another salon that I didn’t even get the complete partial foil I paid a lot of money for!

Tried this Salon but left. Too noisy and busy for my liking, Thank you. Upon entering salon, I like to be greeted and not ignored. Stylist I was seeing was always running at least 30 minutes late and didn’t even acknowledge me or apologize. Tired of being herded like cattle. I was constantly being Shuttled from one area of salon to another to wait for next process. In meantime, stylist is squeezing in another couple of clients ?? Not how I envisioned to be «pampered’..

My bridal party came here to get our pedicures and manicures the day before my wedding. Magnolia Salon is a really nice spot and I was surprised how big it was once I got inside. We went on a Friday during the day and the place was packed. My maid of honor had arranged for them to make up fruit/​cheese tray as well as some mimosa’s. Which was a great touch!
The ladies did a great job, my only complaint is that they only assigned two people to do pedicures and manicures for six people. We definitely needed a third person, there was a ton of waiting around, quite a few times we felt like we were in the way. So much waiting around that one of the members in our party didn’t get a pedicure at all and two of us had to just get polish changes instead of pedicures because we were running out of time. I’m not sure if it was a communication issue when booking or they just thought things would move along faster.
If I were back in the area I would definitely head in to get my nails done.

First time here and I’ll definitely be back Lauren was excellent ! She did an outstanding job with my hair.

I’m still somewhat new to Rhode Island and I’ve made my way through the salons around here. I am typically very loyal to the Aveda brand of salons, but after one salon skipping the traditional Avada experience and another being unable to book appointments sooner than a few months, I had to move on. I was so glad I did. I came to Magnolia on a whim one afternoon after deciding enough was enough with my hair. I was really nervous because there were only a handful of reviews on Unilocal,and for certain things I rely heavily on Unilocal reviews. Cara was my stylist on my first visit and I’ve rebooked with her on every visit since. She gives great precision cuts, never rushes and always goes back at the end to make adjustments. After all of that, she will ask if you want anything else adjusted, trimmed, etc. The salon has parking, is always bustling, and offers lots of other services (which I will try at some point). The décor is bright and fun and the shampoo room is really relaxing. I love Magnolia!

Ashley is amazing!!! She does An amazing color job and you can tell she actually knows what she is doing. I def recommend making an appointment with her if you are going here!

Ok where do I start? I have had extensions for the past 8 years, purchased and applied everywhere from Vegas, to New York, to Boston, then finally in Cranston! I’ve never been so happy with my hair than I am with Ashley Dion, at Magnolia! She is the most awesome stylist and colorist. Omg, if your searching for a salon to settle into, look no more! If your anything like me, jumping all around the state looking for that one hairdresser that can do it all, she’s the one. I couldn’t imagine letting anyone else touch my hair ever again !! Luv u Ash! Your the best!

This is such a welcoming, clean, professional, and friendly salon. Cara styled my hair for my wedding day. I have been having her trim my hair ever since. She takes the time to understand what you are looking for each time you visit. She can work with hair in such a way that shows she is passionate about helping others feel their best, and highlighting the beauty in her customers. She is so easy to have conversation with, and she really understands the art of allowing a person to enjoy even just an hour of taking care of the self. The salon itself has several areas in their new location that make it a comfortable space. For example, there is a separate room dedicated to washing hair. Also, the hairdressing stations in the main area are well-​spaced apart from one another, yet cohesive enough to make the room feel connected. The neighboring hairstylists are always friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this salon to others for not only their stellar services, but also for their dedicated and welcoming staff.
A little tip, I thoroughly enjoy their products available for purchase — especially Bamboo Shine! The perfect scent from this shampoo elicits such a content and relaxed feeling. This salon knows how to carefully deliver not only quality products, but also quality services.

Karen Silva is awesome. This my second time doing a Brazilian Blow out with her and I am def coming back to her every 16 weeks.
I only gave it a four because she doesn’t take credit cards. But the location is convenient and the service is great.

Well I totally agree Jen is awesome! I don’t get my haircut as often as I should, but when I do I trust Jen 110%%%%%%%!!! She picked my color and it’s amazing!!! I get compliments all the time! The salon itself is super friendly and clean! I love the emails! Hands down Magnolia!

I get my hair done every six weeks or so with Jen. I’ve been a faithful customer for over a year now. I always leave incredibly satisfied each time I visit her. It’s to the point where I completely trust her to do what she thinks is right with my hair. I say «I want to try someone different, Jen», and whenever I do, she is pure magic. I never doubt anything she does because I know she would never let me leave the salon looking ridiculous. Of course, she’s super friendly and easy to talk to so you don’t have to worry about the whole small talk bit. if you’re feeling weary about trying a new hair dresser, I recommend Jen 100%. You won’t ever feel disappointed and she’s the most trustworthy hair stylist I’ve ever had.
