I want to like this place because its so convenient, I pass by it everyday. Had my husbands jacket dry cleaned. I specifically asked them if they can clean suede since there are pieces of suede on the jacket and the cleaner in our building said they couldn’t do it. They said that they do suede and to bring it it. When I picked up the jacket, it was messed up. The suede looked all chewed up. Unless you are just getting something cheap and plain dry cleaned here, come at your own risk!

About 3 weeks ago, I brought in my favorite pair of dress shoes to have the right sole reglued. Recently, I noticed that the right sole was starting to come off so I went back to the place to ask if they could help fix it. When I showed the Asian lady the shoe she said that they never glued it and insisted to see the left shoe. When I showed her the left shoe, she said the left shoe was the shoe they glued. When I argued with the lady, she was extremeley rude and condescending. When she examined the left shoe to see if they had glued it, she pulled on the sole and now that side is starting to come off. Basically, I now have to get both soles fixed when I initially came in just to fix one sole.
All in all, I would never recommend this place. If a business does a sub-​par job, the least it could do is find a way to remedy the problem. I would have gladly paid half price for a job they should have gotten right in the first place. Even if I was mistaken about which side they glued, the business should never be rude and condescending to their customers. I had a horrible experience here and will take my business to another local shoe repair store.

I needed to get my soles re-​glued. A place in Soho wanted $ 20 to apply glue and he was a jerk about it. This place was friendly and they only charged $ 9. He even told me if it doesn’t stay for some reason, to come back and he’d staple it for me too. They also sanded it down a bit to remove the old adhesive so it was a thorough and clean job, not sloppy. I am so happy to have found a local shoe place in jersey city with great service, great prices and a smile!

This review is for the cleaner and their awful customer service! I went there drop off a coat and asked if they could deliver to my apartment. The owner said she could only deliver to Trump, which is literally right next to my apartment and not to my building. Ridiculous!
