Bilgehan Tuncer is a professional guitarist who gives lessons to people of all skill levels, including beginners who haven’t touched the guitar and advanced players looking to perfect their skills. With 27 years of experience, Bilgehan plays and teaches jazz, blues, rock, folk, country, classical and just about everything else. He’s a passionate, relaxed and patient teacher who will help you find your musical voice, whether your goal is to strum a few chords around the campfire or you’re trying to get into a competitive college music program.

The leading guitar teacher for Jersey City guitar lessons /​Hoboken guitar lessons, Bilgehan is a professional session player who went to Berklee College of Music on scholarship. But he’s also a laid back, easy going guy, so his lessons are always just as fun as they are instructive. Red Pick Music is easily accessible from the Light Rail and the exchange Path station.

Business Owner

Originally from Ankara/​Turkey, Bilgehan Tuncer has been playing the guitar for 27 years. He holds a B.M. in Guitar Performance from the world’s most prestigious music college, Berklee College of Music. As a versatile session player, he has performed and recorded with plenty of today’s top acts in styles including classical, jazz, blues, rock, country and folk.

Bilgehan is an official artist endorser for leading companies like Elixir Strings and Godin Guitars. He won the ZMM & Washburn Guitar Inc. National Guitar Competition in Turkey. In 1998, he won a B.E.S.T. Scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
