Best customer service experience I’ve had at a mechanic. Steve is a great guy, very professional and honest. No frills garage with a team that clearly enjoys what they do. Worth a try if you’re in the Jersey City area.

Been using them ever since I have been living in the area [going on 9+ years I believe] and through at least three vehicles. They service luxury and all other cars. Know so much. Run by two brothers. Only called over the phone regarding nj inspection details since I just had a car delivered from Fl. The man over the phone was extremely informative and understanding. He actually determined I wouldnt need an inspection since the vehicle was so new. Most would tell you to come in just to tack on something else but he gave me great guidance and for that I would suggest open and honest work. Also I called at about 8:30pm on a Friday night and he picked up, super shocked.

These guys have been like doctors for my ailing car.
Simon and Steve both brothers are extremely helpful, very responsive and know their way around German cars. If your car is out of warranty I would highly recommend getting your work done at GT.
Very cost effective as well.

Phenomenal Service every time I come here. Simon & Steve are top notch. Family run shop that always takes care of their customers. They always under-​promise and over-​over-​over-​deliver with the quality and timing of their work. Rare to see an auto shop with so much integrity… no wonder why they are blessed with so much business.

I took my car, a 2005 Mercedes C 240, to get an estimate on replacement of the hood release strap. Simon replaced it for free and also cleaned the sunroof. The following week, I took the car for oil change and service. Every thing was done in 45 min and I was charged only less than $ 100, much better deal than the dealer. I was very happy with Simon’s service, knowledge and professionalism. I will take back my car for any repair in the future.

I almost can’t express how amazing Steve is at this place. I was in from out of town visiting when I had the coolant hose on my 2000 BMW e46 explode while in a parking garage in jersey city. I was 150+ miles from home and knew no one locally to help. I called Steve, he hooked me up with a tow a fair rate, fixed my hose and inspected for further problems. He was completely up front with me. He even fixed a loose door handle for the hell of it! He was fair, friendly, honest and he didn’t take advantage of me in a tough situation. I will highly recommend these guys to anyone. 5 stars and beyond. This guy is the real deal. Hats off.

Had my oil change checkup today. This place is a real gem. While waiting I was listening to how Steve interacts with his customers. He’s up front, honest, and not at all pushy. When my car was ready, he didn’t recommend anything unnecessary, acknowledged the car is in good shape, and gave me a rundown of what to expect over the next 20k miles, understanding the car will require maintenance as it ages. When the time comes for these maintenance items, G&T will be doing the work, for sure.
He also says they are building a new waiting room, which will be a great addition to an otherwise 100% work oriented shop.

If you have a BMW or Mercedes or any German car they are great! They are honest and the prices are even better. They do honest work and they dont take forever. They are the best in town better yet just in general. They are very helpful and everytime i go there is always a happy customer.
