This quote is way below par especially since I combed over it with my attorney and personally documented everything that was damaged.
You’re going to have to do a lot better than this. This amount won’t even cover my bike let alone the piano, glass pictures-​custom framed, crystals, couch, lost or stolen inventory, having to pay for another storage space and movers, broken furniture etc.
The list goes on. I’m sorry that you’ve lost 20k worth of business but think about how much you could have gained if everything was handled properly.
Like I said, i’m happy to turn it around and take down the review and others but this is not a good start in the right direction.

PS– You’ve made your point with the bad reviews, we lost close to $ 20K on booked jobs that canceled after your posts.

Overview:
I read quite a few reviews for this place and they were bad. I did a local move and I had no problems. The men were professional, quick, and clean. I spoke directly to 1 guy. He had his paperwork, knew what was going on, there were no issues in between the conversation I had with the sales person and the movers.
Details:
I would like to take another moment and stress the professionalism. I think his name is Danny (if you move ask for him), he has a great personality, was ready to get the ball rolling the moment he started, I was impressed by all 3 of them.
I did notice the moreso bad reviews on Unilocal and on another site prior to hiring them but also saw the common factor was they were long distance moves. Maybe it was me being naïve but after chatting with the sales person I didn’t think the movers would be has horrible as the reviews. Also my sales person didn’t make promises, he explained the process and told me about a few things «just in case» such as if I was not the only move that day and the truck would be shared with another person. I also used this gamble because of the pricing, nice flat rate and coupled with my own renters insurance and me moving my most cherished items myself I felt like I could give them a try.
I appreciated the following:
1. Professionalism of movers and my main contact that day
2. The speed of the movers (4 flights of stairs is no joke)
3. They all seemed nice, I was by myself with them and no inappropriate comments or gestures, just a «good morning» and «Let’s get this done».
4. The flexibility of the movers (I had 1 item that wasn’t on their list)
5. They took care of my large fragile items (wrapped them up nicely, nothing broke)
Nobody is perfect, but the following is why they didn’t get 5 stars:
There was 1 bulky item that I wanted them to put on the curb (garbage) so they had no regard to handling it gently; however, they didn’t pay attention to one of the door hinges of the apt building and knocked something over. I knew this was already broken but I feel that they should have been more careful. Also, I think they scratched the floor a little with my dresser. I didn’t micro manage and the floor had other scratches so I didn’t create a fuss about it.
I hope this reviewed helped. In short I can recommend this company for a local move only if you use «Danny». He usually does long distance moves so maybe that is why he was awesome with the local?

I used this company over 2 months ago to deliver my belongings from New Jersey to California and once they arrived they lost 3 of my boxes! They even delivered a shelving unit and lost the Shelves! They reassured me that they would take care of my furniture and would wrap my TVs which they did but still ended up losing my stuff. It has been over 2 months and I am still missing my items and haven’t heard back from anyone. Every time I call they claim they will call me back but I never hear from anyone. I have been waiting to see if they can rectify the situation but once again I was told they would call back and know I will be waiting around again. Terrible company and very said I trusted all my shipping needs in their hands!

If I could give this company a score less than 0 I would! I never write negative reviews but I felt the absolute need to warn everyone to NEVER EVER use this company!!! This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I moved from CT to CA and booked my move a month in advance. I found the company through normal search engines and they gave me the best price that also included movers ($ 1450). The salesman, Jason, promised everything would be in CA when I arrived and that it would only take 7 – 10 days from the time they picked up my furniture to get to CA. I was scheduled for my furniture to be picked up on ⁶⁄₂₇ and that it would be arranged to be moved in on ⁷⁄₇. Everything was fine when the movers picked up my belongings for my small one bedroom apartment.
I called the day before I got to CA to check on the status of my move and the man that answered was incredibly RUDE and told me that he couldn’t possibly get me that information. I don’t know why they don’t have GPS on their trucks because then it would be easy to get that info but anyways I was still in good spirits and excited about moving trusting that everything would work itself out. He said to call back the next day so when I arrived in CA I called and they said that my stuff should be there in two to three days. I was a little disappointed but decided to make the best of it and explore the new city I moved to and decided sleeping on the floor for two nights was fine. I get a call the next day from a dispatch person, Lee, saying that she should have an ETA for my belongings within the next few days. I said «oh I already talked to someone yesterday and he said my stuff should be here tomorrow or the next day.» She says «oh no no no that’s not your stuff they must have messed up. Your stuff was just sent out and won’t be there until probably the end of next week like the 16−18^th.» We argued for an hour on the phone and discussed that I could not sleep on the floor without any of my belongings for over a week when I start a new job on Monday. She could care less and was mean, unsympathetic and down right nasty to me.
Meanwhile I had to start my new job without any of my belongings, sleeping on the floor, and had to spend more money to get the essentials to survive off of like a pillow and a blanket! The day that started my new estimated delivery timeframe (the 16^th), Lee calls me at work and tells me that now my stuff won’t be there until the 20 – 22 now and that legally they have up until 21 business days to deliver my stuff. She was terrible and has treated both me and my mother in a very unprofessional way. And then on the 19^th I got another phone call saying my furniture was being delayed again! Now it won’t be there until the 24^th. At this point I had been sleeping on the floor without anything other than a suitcase of clothes, started a new career in a new city, all alone for nearly 3 weeks!
The best part is, when they FINALLY showed up on business day 20 out of the maximum allowed 21 (of course) and after having my belongings for a month they get to my apartment complex in Los Angeles with an 18 wheel tractor trailer!!! It of course does not fit in my complex, so the guy says well what do you want us to do? Like I hired you to move my stuff! Why should I be solving this kind of problem. He says well now we will have to see if any truck company is open so we can rent a shuttle van to move your stuff onto that and then move it into your place. They charged me an extra $ 300 CASH to get a small Uhaul truck when I know for a fact it costs less than $ 50 to rent one for a day! At that point I was so happy to just to have my stuff near me that I was like take the money. And I am guessing that 18 wheelers don’t fit in most apartment complexes or small residential neighborhoods so they probably make great money charging this extra fee to pretty much everyone. The mover then asked for a tip and I nearly burst out laughing.
Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company! They are unprofessional, rude, the least compassionate, and they will ruin your faith in people.
This is my first negative review I have ever written about a company so I’m not one to just trash places. So please take this post seriously and heed my warning that this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Please do not give your business to them!
