I came in looking for cotton for a project I was doing. They didn’t have it, but they ordered it, and had it ready for me the next day. They were super nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

George, Cathy, and Debbie are so, so amazing. I know nothing about flowers, so when I showed them pictures of the kinds of flowers and colors I wanted for my wedding, they immediately gave me pointers on what would work with the season and which flowers would last the entire day. They worked with me and quoted such a fair price that we managed to fall well below our budget. And the flowers looked PHENOMENAL. I LOVED my bouquet, and they also sent over some extra flowers to put in my hair, which was so thoughtful and nice. The flowers lasted ALL DAY, and even as I type this, five days after my wedding, my wedding bouquet still looks and smells like it was freshly put together. They set up everything at the church and the reception hall so seamlessly that there were never a worry in the world. Thank you again!

I visited his store to pick up some daisies for my wife. The staff was helpful, the flowers were inexpensive ($ 8 for a lot), and the flowers lasted well over a week (currently on day 10). I am most happy with the longevity of the flowers since most flowers I buy don’t least even a week. I will be returning to this store in the future for my flower needs.

I just went in today and I can say my interaction was nothing short of spectacular.
I called earlier to see if it was possible that I come in to make a bouquet out of one of the mason jars I own. I gave her a budget and we stayed under it (this ended up costing $ 37).
The owner is also very intuitive of her customers. She asked if I wanted to help pick out flowers for the bouquet which was really fun! Also when they were putting together the bouquet I was slightly furrowing my brow from the other room about some extra greenery and she immediate turned around and asked me what was up. Very nicely and not assertively. I felt very comfortable actually stating what was on my mind. Overall beyond happy I came to see her and will go to her again and again!

I have nothing bad to say about this florist. I’ve been going there for years. This has been my go to place for funeral arrangements.
Very professional and very respectful. Arrangements have always been top of the line and never a problem with delivery.
Went there for a Christmas Trees and they provided a good tree and a fair price.
Store has a selection of flowers for every occasion. They even have some cool succulent arrangements year long.

I’m sorry I relied on all the positive Unilocal!Reviews… This place was terrible… or maybe just uninterested in my business. I ordered a flower arrangements and paid $ 115. It was sent to a friend of mine at work. All greens, very few flowers and the flowers they did include were wilted or dying. Did I catch them on a bad day?! No excuse. Terrible arrangement. Don’t understand all the good reviews because that wasn’t my experience! I’ll definately never use them again! Sorry I chose them to send my friend flowers. I was embarassed!

I love the quality and selection here. The only inconvenience is the hours. They’re 9am-​6pm on weekdays and various hours on weekends. What makes it most difficult is that they’re not consistent with when they’re open either so even though the hours are posted, they’re still not always open.
I come here just for small boutiques for my home, and I find they have the best quality and selection in the neighborhood.

I can’t say enough great things about this flower shop. I go in there every other week or so when I feel the need to brighten up my apartment with some fresh flowers and every time is a positive experience. Almost immediately when you walk through the door someone greets you and is ready to assist. The entire staff is warm and extremely knowledgable on flowers. The selection of flowers is array & seasonal and you can’t beat the prices. I wish I could keep this place my little secret but it just wouldn’t be fair!

I’m not a «buy flowers every week» kinda girl, but I have to admit that it’s nice when Bald One surprises me with a bouquet. This happens after I have been particularly angry at something that is his fault (I think it’s happened twice in our 4 years of marriage) or something big happens to me (last time, after I gave birth to Baby D, who was literally… something BIG that happened to me. 7 lb 5 oz. Oof.)
B&B is our go-​to place. For one thing, it is SUPER convenient to our condo. For another, the flowers are beautiful and fresh, and last longer than supermarket flowers. The ones at P&K — the Korean mom & pop grocer on Newark ave — also look nice, but have never bought from there so don’t know about a comparison. The folks at B&B are very friendly about suggesting color combos that are pleasing to the eye and to the wallet. So it’s a nice, neighborhoody place to shop, where you walk out happy that you supported a local biz and have a little packet of happiness in the crook of your arm.
I was feeling pretty good about B&B in general based on the above experiences.
But last December, when Bald One trudged up our 3^rd floor walkup, step after belabored step, with a 6-​foot green monstrosity… wool coat littered with pine needles and sap… after my initial shock, I began to LOVE B&B. This was our first ever real Christmas tree, and it was perfect for our first Christmas as (expectant) parents. The holidays were extra special this year but the tree made it that much more fun and exciting (pine needle cleanup notwithstanding).

This spot is owned/​run/​staffed by the NICEST people ever. They’re so sweet and helpful. They’re always enthusiastic about their job and ready to guide customer decisions. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful, and they have a huge selection. I don’t know much about flowers, but I always enjoy my experience here.

Echoing the other positive reviews here. This is really a top-​notch operation. I’ve interacted with Cathy for two years in a row now and she is nothing but outstanding. Both times I’ve ordered over the phone, left the design and delivery to them, and everything has been perfect.

They make great flower arrangements especially for holidays. Prices are a bit high but well worth the extra money. You get a very nice bouquet.
I went there to get some flowers for my GF mom at the holidays and I asked them to make it Christmasy and they came up with some great ideas at a reasonable price. Can’t beat that.

For a go to corner florist this spot ain’t too shabby. First, they are some of the nicest most neighborhood oriented people ever, always with a smile on their faces and happy to serve! I often have balloons filled with helium from here and when I’m needing a last minute floral gift this isn’t a bad option. I recently picked up some nice white tulips and they added some pine and nice ribbon and boom, $ 13 later it was a nice wintery mix.
The reason for fours stars instead of five is that I feel you do need to go in and pick out the flowers. I was looking at the short stem roses and many of them were bruised and not looking so hot hence why I went with the tulips; they definitely weren’t the cream of the crop.
Overall a nice solid neighborhood spot but, I wouldn’t expect anything fancy.

I ordered my wedding bouquets and boutinierres about a month in advance of the wedding. It wasn’t a huge order — just two bouquets and about 5 – 8 boutinierres/​corsages. I told them one week in advance that my then-​fiancé would stop by the store the morning of the wedding at 8am to pick up the bouquets and bring them to the venue in time for our 11:30am ceremony. I was told, «We’ll be open whenever you need us to be open.»
My husband showed up the morning of the wedding at 8am. The place was closed. He waited around and the store did not open until 10am. When he went to the counter and said that he was there to pick up the bouquets, they stared at him blankly and said «Let me go check in the back.» When they returned, they said, «oh we had to wait for a few more things so it wont be ready for another hour.»
Obviously, they completely forgot about our order and were trying to play it off as if they were merely delayed!
My poor husband was running late to his own wedding at this point. Long story short, they ended up delivering the flowers to the venue at 11:10am — 20 minutes before the ceremony began!~!~!! And the bouquets definitely looked as if they were thrown together last minute!
I was appalled that this happened. How could they not have a calendar system in place or have completely forgetten about our bouquets even after I called them just a few days before to remind them??? It made for a very stressful morning for the both of us. I will never deal with them again and would not recommend them.

This place just made our Christmas! We got a beautiful 8 foot tree from them today (with stand and a few other items). They couldn’t have been more helpful. They even delivered the tree for only $ 5…great deal in JC! Thank you B&B for all your help this Holiday Season.

Bouquets and Baskets should be called «Miracles and Lifesavers». The first time I used them (was the day before my wedding reception and I realized I had forgotten centerpieces for the tables) they have been OUTSTANDING. The centerpieces were divine and lasted for about a week and a half after the reception. I am a concierge at a busy hotel — and whenever I call for an emergency bouquet — they deliver with amazing results every time. I will use them from now until the end of time.
