I used to come here a couple years ago and I’ve recently decided to switch up my hair color. I stopped in earlier today hoping to speak with someone about what kind of process I would need to achieve the color I want. I also mentioned I had seen the cut/​color packages as well and mentioned I would be interested in that. The woman who helped me was cold and unwelcoming the entire time I spoke with her. She was looking at me as if I was stupid the entire time. She said there was over an hour wait time and that the process would take a couple hours so I asked if there was a good time tomorrow. She said I cannot make an appointment and to just come in before 7pm tomorrow.
I’m honestly just so disappointed in the cold treatment and how she didn’t even want to take a minute of her time to talk about what would be the best way to approach the look I want. I know it wasn’t a consultation but she couldn’t even give me a name to the process of what I wanted. The whole conversation was cold, short, and awkward. Needless to say I will be searching for another salon to fulfill my coloring needs.

I’ve been going to Arseda at this Hair Cuttery for the past 3 – 4 years. She always does a fantastic job and I am never disappointed. The prices are right and the service is top notch. I don’t plan on going anywhere else!

I get my hair cut, colored and go there for blow out styles just about every other week! Lauren the manager does such an amazing job!

I’ve been going here for many years. I started in Abington with Lauren and when she moved to a new salon, I followed her to Jenkintown. I get my hair colored, cut and blow drys. I get many compliments on my hair outside the salon and also from customers sitting and waiting when I leave. I tell them its all Lauren. The salon is very neat and clean and the staff are friendly. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone for any type of hair and for any style.

Usually go to the one on Cottman, which always gives me a great haircut. This place definitely didn’t. The top was done ok, but the rest wasn’t great. I won’t name anyone, but the lines on the shape up are all crooked. From my left ear to my neck is straight down, and from my right ear down is at an angle. The line across my neck is missing a chunk and is longer on the left than on the right. Not to mention they aren’t great with time management, with a half hour wait when there was only one customer and two stylists. My girlfriend and I went to PetSmart and came back, I got done quickly, and my girlfriend got told it’d be another half hour wait just to get her bangs trimmed. A few customers that came in while we were gone got told about an hour wait there. I’ve never seen any of this at Cottman, so I’ll be taking my business back there.

I live right across the street so whenever I feel the need, I go to the hair cuttery. Have had many different operators and have always been pleased. Each operator has been very concerned that she was following my instructions. When completed, if it wasn’t short enough, she gladly took off another quarter inch. Everyone is very pleasant and the place is bright and clean. A good bang for your buck.

For a cheap, quick haircut I give this place two thumbs up! I desperately needed a trim and was pressed for time so I stopped in on a whim. No appointment, no problem! I was greeted by Jackie and taken right away. My hair looks super cute and was cut just like I asked. Shampoo and cut was $ 15, if I had time for a blow dry it would have been $ 23. To top it off this location was quiet and clean and the girls working here were professional. I’ll be back in 6 weeks!
