Up Your Do by Jill Kozar

Jill did a truly amazing job on my wedding day hair and I cannot recommend her enough! I have long, straight hair that has always had trouble holding a curl, yet Jill was able to make full, natural looking curls that lasted all day. It even stayed curly throughout our next day flight to Europe for our honeymoon! I went to the trial with only a few pictures to show her, but she was easily able to take my description and translate it into exactly what I wanted. My hair looked soft, beautiful and shiny in all of the pictures and did not feel sticky or weighed down from too much product (which has definitely been the case when people have tried to curl my hair in the past!) She also did the hair for the rest of my bridal party. My mother got an updo, and as someone who usually gets updos for formal events, she felt Jill’s was one of the best! All of my bridesmaids also looked beautiful– I left it up to them to decide how they wanted it and I know Jill helped each girl to find the perfect style. Jill was calm, cool and collected throughout the entire morning and brought a very relaxed presence to the bridal suite. When a few of my bridesmaids decided at the last minute that they did in fact want to have their hair done, Jill had no problem putting them into the schedule. She was actually ahead of schedule the entire morning! Lastly, Jill had the foresight to remove some of the teeth from the clip to my veil so that it would lay flat the way I wanted. This was truly a lifesaver! She also took the time before leaving to give one of my bridesmaids a tutorial for how to place it in my hair since I wanted to take some pictures with it and some without. Thank you Jill for helping to make my day so special and for helping me to look and feel beautiful!

Jill did hair for me and my 7 bridesmaids for my wedding. She was excellent! All the girls looked stunning, with Jill’s help and expertise! I am someone who is SO picky about my hair, and she was just phenomenal. Importantly, the whole day went so smoothly. Jill made me feel comfortable and at ease, arriving early, and finishing up with time to spare. I would recommend Jill to anyone!

I couldn’t possibly say enough amazing things about Jill! She came highly recommended to me by my make-​up artists and I am so glad that I was pointed in her direction! To start — Jill is so sweet, personable, easy to talk to, passionate, and most importantly, so incredibly talented! I showed up to my trial with a bunch of pictures of all different styles that I liked, but I wasn’t exactly sure what direction I wanted to go in! Jill asked to see them, then my dress, and immediately started working on my hair! She quickly understood my vision for my wedding look, combined all of my ideas, and created something I was head over heels in love with. She made the entire process extremely easy and stress free for me, which as a bride was very important.
The day of my wedding, Jill showed up on time (if not ahead of time) & completed 7 of my bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and my hair in a timely manner. I should mention that Jill was only originally supposed to do 1 mother but when my Mother-​in-​law decided at the last minute she needed a little help, Jill came to the rescue and had absolutely no problem adding another person to the list. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and each and every one of my girls was 110% happy with their hair! Jill is so versatile and did a fantastic job with all of my bridesmaids, who I should mention had varying lengths of hair from super long to short choppy bobs! She nailed every single style! In addition to all that, Jill stayed past the time she was supposed to to help my girls put floral crowns in — she really just went above and beyond!
I cannot recommend Jill enough — you would be crazy to look any further than her! Thank you, Jill, from the bottom of my heart for everything you did to make myself and my girls look absolutely stunning for my wedding day! I feel so fortunate to have gotten a chance to work with you!

Jill and her colleague did my hair, along with all of my bridesmaids’, mother’s, and grandmother’s hair for my wedding earlier this month. We were all incredibly thrilled with the results! She did a fantastic job and was very good at listening to what everyone wanted and efficiently executing each hairstyle. She was flexible and accommodating with scheduling the trial and was very responsive to all email correspondence in the months leading up to the wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jill — there are so many moving parts on the wedding day and it is critical to surround yourself with individuals who are talented and professional to ensure that everything goes smoothly — Jill is definitely one of those people!

Jill did fantastic job with hair for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day! Not only is Jill amazingly talented, she fit right in with everyone and helped make the morning fun and relaxed. She was attentive not only to me, but to everyone that she worked on, offering to re-​do styles and touch up styles throughout the morning to ensure that everyone was 100% satisfied. She is the best and you should definitely use her!

Jill Kozar is an unbelievable stylist! Not only have I been going to her for color for about 8 years now, she was the ONLY one I would consider to style me for my wedding day! She is creative, a delight to be around and really makes you fee like a bride.
Being the professional that she is, she is always prepared, on time and very organized. She managed to schedule 7 girls, including myself and get everyone out on time! Not only did our hair look amazing, It stayed intact the entire night, and the next!
You can’t go wrong with this girl! Voted Philly’s best several years in a row, she won’t disappoint. Book a trial and she’ll win you over for sure.

Jill did my entire (large) bridal party including my mother for my wedding. She did an incredible job! She showed up early and we ended up being done way ahead of schedule! I had two trials with her that were easy to schedule and when I didn’t absolutely love the style I thought I wanted the first time, she was very accommodating and modified it the second time and I fell in love with it! She always responded to my emails promptly and answered all of my questions immediately! I have longish hair and used extensions and the curls lasted the entire night and even held through the morning. The extensions matched my hair perfectly and no one could even tell that they were extensions. I received many comments about how beautiful and long my hair was! All of the girls in my wedding party loved her and we all had so much fun hanging out during the day! She even went above and beyond and did my grandmother’s hair even though that wasn’t initially planned. I would highly recommend her and have to everyone who has asked who to use for their wedding!

Since the first time Jill did my hair years and years ago, I knew I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding. The second I got engaged, after my mother, Jill was my next call to make sure she was free the next year. She always booked, so I was lucky enough to snag her for my big day!
That morning was a marathon. Not only did Jill do mine and my bridesmaid’s hair (3) she did my mom too! She works so fast I was transformed before I knew it! And my hair did not quit. I had perfect hair for my goodbye brunch the next morning too!
Jill really went above and beyond during my hair trial as well. We went through a few different styles until we found the one that looked like me. She was so patient and wanted it to be right just as much as I did. Hair really was the easiest part of the whole wedding process!
While she doesn’t usually have time when doing so many hair styles, Jill also did my makeup complete with lashes, and my mom’s (also with lashes)! You never need to worry about being late or off schedule with Jill. She is a seasoned pro!
If you are lucky enough that she is free on your day, book her immediately!

She did a phenomenal job. I didn’t need everyone to have the same hairstyle, so she accommodated my bridesmaids and family members’ varying preferences. One of my friends has hair down to her waist, and she did an incredible job styling it– just as incredible as the style that she gave to my friend with chin length hair.
She was very kind and responsive from the time that I scheduled the appointment. I highly recommend Jill.

On my daughter’s wedding day Jill worked her magic and helped everyone feel her best.
She was very creative and efficient and was easy to work with. Some hair stylists require a minimum
count but she was very accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
