I am posting a review here that I posted on the sister store of Jamestown — The reason I am posting here is because the Great Customer service started here — Only reason I ended up in Modesto was just a coincidence.
Bought a 2015 Ultra in late Aug — started to notice an Oil Weep around 1000 miles — wiped it clean and started to watch it — it was very minor but still weeping — I Know HD normally does not consider it a ‘leak’ till it hits the ground, lol — Still while at Jamestown HD — I talked to Dave about it — showed him several pictures I had taken of the Weep over a few weeks — He ask me to clean it one more time and if it continued — to stop by and he would fix it… Well, I did clean it again and it was still weeping — minor but still there — Stopped by Mitchell’s and talked to Eric — told him about my dealings with Dave at Jamestown — he took one look and offered to fix it right then and there — Wow — That’s Customer Service… Called the wife and went to a Movie — Got a call and was told that — for what ever reason — who ever built this Transmission at Harley did NOT ever put the gasket in??? Long story short — Starting with Dave at Jamestown and finishing with Eric at Mitchells — the Very best Customer service — saw an issue and just fixed it… My thanks to everyone involved —
After I got over my (WTF) LOL at who ever built this??? I was very impressed that the two parts fit together so well that it ONLY weeped during those 1500 miles…
This was on the right side of the Transmission and the plate was holding the right side of the gear cluster and the entire Trans had to be taken apart to get this part out and the gasket put int… not an easy or short job. Again, I have been a customer since 1997 over on 9^th street — Thanks to everyone involved here

I recently took the wife (and the bike) up into the Sierra foothills to spend some time in Jamestown. About 80 miles from the town, my clutch starting acting pretty strangely — it would work, then not work, then kinda sorta work. About 30 miles out, it was clear that something was going on that was NOT good. I pulled over and called Jamestown HD service, and explained that I was about ½ hour away, and in dire need of some attention for the bike. They agreed to check it out, and as soon as I got there, they rolled it in.
They IMMEDIATELY were confident that they found the issue — the clutch uses DOT4 (just like the brakes), and DOT4 is renowned to go bad over a period of time… and when it goes bad, it goes bad quite quickly (which would certainly apply in my situation). They flushed the system, put in new fluid, and took it out for a ride. Mechanic came back, gave me the thumbs up, and switched over to another bike.
The service manager wrote me up for a whopping $ 50 (here I was thinking a grand and a few days, at minimum… so I was just a weeeeeeeeeee bit stressed).
Simply awesome response to help a biker passing through. A definite strong thumbs up.

While on our 5^th Annual Motorcycle Run to Yosemite, one of the guys realized he needed a rear tire after arriving at our campsite. He called Jamestown HD and they told him to come right down and they would take care of him. He went there and was back in time for DINNER! Great Service!!!

We rode 45 minutes out of our way today to visit this store. Arrived 12 minutes before closing and we were rudely greeted at the door by an elderly lady who simply said, «we’re closed». I observed an open sign in the window and about 3 customers inside. I asked, «don’t we still have about 10 or so minutes»… She said, «no, they are wheekibg the bikes in and it could dangerous». We turned away from the door and looked at one another in complete disbelief. I understand wanting to call it a weekend but to turn away business before closing hour is very rude. Our local Harley store loves our business. I’m a damn good customer. Sure hope «shutting» the door in our faces was worth the cigarette and gin and tonic you had waiting for you. Get her out of your store, she has no business in retail.

Road trip through gold rush country and just came across this place. When traveling I like to stop a Harley dealers and pick up a shirt. This is probably the smallest Harley dealer I’ve ever been in, but very cool. The people were great, providing recommendations for local places to eat. If your passing through Jamestown, sop in and say hello.

I was only here for a few minutes. I wanted to stop in and get a t-​shirt for my mom and I was in a hurry so it was just a quick, short, stop. A lot of nice bikes where there in the parking lot and I would have enjoyed admiring them… if I had time.
But the selection was good, the lady behind the counter was very pleasant. So all in all, even though I was only there for a minute it was a pleasant experience so they get my vote.

We are so bummed! We have been past here twice in the last 3 years but it is always on a Sunday!!! During the summer you should be open on Sunday… nothing but bikers out and around your shop ;(We looked in the window and hope to visit next time we come down from so cal.

Jamestown Harley is a great place to stop and hang check out bikes that come and go on there way up or down the foothills. The store puts on doins that have live music and sometimes free grub good selection of clothes with the cool Jamestown Harley logo on them. Miss Brad the service manager not the same personel attention to detail that the current service department has
