Inner Sanctum Cellars Gold Medal and Best of Class Wine. Inner Sanctum Cellars is a local, family-​owned wine producer that currently purchases grapes from Tuolumne and Calaveras County vineyards to make their award-​winning wines. Inner Sanctum has only been around for a couple of years but is already making a name for themselves. They currently bottle 8 different varietals and plan to open a vineyard near Chinese Camp in the near future.

Inner Sanctum has a tasting room in downtown Jamestown where you can visit them Fri-​Sun and for $ 5 taste seven delicious wines of the Marsanne, Merlot and Barbera varietal, among others. Many nights they stay open late depending on the crowd so it might be worthwhile to call ahead. The tasting bar is managed by the owners so if you’re interested in the wine operation they will be happy to share.
