Their food was great! They had fun trying to help me keep my 2-​year old busy, price wasn’t too bad. but they don’t do AAA discounts, Military discounts, and their alcohol is quiet pricey, other than that, Great place to eat and chill out.

Because of a freak cool front, the last 3 or 4 days have been warm but very low humidity. 85 degrees felt like 85 degrees. I looked online yesterday to see what eateries had a patio, since it would probably one of the last pleasant days until fall. I saw Mellow Mushroom in the list and realized it had been awhile since I had eaten there and I live close. So I got there about 3:30 and there was no one on the porch and only a few people inside. I grabbed a Folio and was nicely greeted by a young man but when I asked to sit outside he hesitated and then said it was closed. So I left. I can not for the life of me understand the reasoning on closing a patio with such nice weather. I ended up at Hurricane wings, sat outside for lunch, had some beers and it was a beautiful day. **** I rated 3 stars cause I know the food is good from eating at mellow mushrooms before

Had a Promotional card to get a free slice (two topping) with the purchase of a drink. The place was a bit far for my liking but I had my daughter with me to hang out and to try another local pizza spot. It was during lunch but there was no waiting to be seated and the server came right over. I ordered the cheese with two veggie toppings and a salad. I didn’t know that most of the pizza was already made (i’m assuming because of the lunch rush) but ok. I noticed when they brought my slice back that it appeared they just tossed the green peppers and mushrooms on there. I didn’t know what to think but oh well. Have you tried eating a slice of Pizza with a Knife and Fork… lololol Karazy!!! It was okay but all of the toppings just fell off. So the manager was walking by and I asked them if they could just warm it up for me. He threw a little more cheese on it to have a little bit of sticktoitness to it. I was fine by that. The salad was the Enlightened Spinach Salad. It was ok but I think there was too much candied pecans and feta cheese. It over powered the spinach. But at least my Unsweetened Tea was on point. lol Anyway, I’d be willing to go back if I was in the area to try something else. SHout out to the employees that work there. Really cool hip place.

Their service is awesome. It’s a laid back atmosphere. Their menu has a build your own pizza option, which is my fave. They have some special type of dough that tastes amazing with everything! Try hummus appetizer. It’s the bomb.

Small pizza is 4 big slices. Enough to share. Thursday specials for the ladies. Nice selections of beers and plenty of tvs to watch games. Check in the first time and get 10% discount. Happy hour Specials. When you order a pizza you can order two different types of specialty pizza even if it is a small pie. They play all the sports. Jill is an excellent bartender! Amazing service from the staff.

We love this location. The staff has always been friendly each visit. We started off with the fun guy appetizer… so good. You get a plate full of dough and three dipping sauces. Then we ordered the mighty meat. Bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and ham, one of the best pizzas we’ve had in Jax. Our server, Michael, was awesome. One thing we l love from a server is when they keep the drinks coming. We never had to wait for anything. Even our daughter made a comment on how good she liked the pizza. Love the pizza and the atmosphere.

I’ve always wanted to try this place and I am so glad that I did. Late night on a Thursday while in Jacksonville. The atmosphere was very laid back and they had music playing. There is an outdoor seating area but it was packed. Ladies nights are on Thursdays so there is $ 1 wines!!! Of course it’s not your finest wines but who cares really its a dollar. Merlot, Pinot, or Zinfadel were the options. Our waitress was also super nice as well I believe her name was Crystal. I will definitely be trying the one out in the south florida area next.

Had fun running the 5k for national running day. It was only $ 10 and you get free beer at the end and discounts on appetizers. Everyone was really nice and there was slight over cast so it wasn’t extremely hot. Only thing was they didn’t give out any souvenirs but it’s whatever. It was for a good cause.

Let me start by saying that I am a fan of Mellow Mushroom, but don’t let that make you think I am biased. I am a fan because the food is so good. My go to order is the Thai Dye pizza which is unlike any pizza anywhere else. Their crust is good. (Honestly, the crust is the reason it’s not a 5 star review, crust snob) My family have much more adventurous ordering adventures and all their trials have met with yummy success. Don’t forget to push the button at some point.

Food is definitely fresh here… like the atmosphere and they got some live music every Friday night .My wife is a vegetarian .we ordered a half an half with the other half of chicken. server promised us he won’t mix up the veggie piece with chicken and guess what it got messed up. they offered to give us the extra slice but the wait to get the pizza was like 30 min so we didn’t go for it.

It’s like playing Russian Roulette with pizza flavors. Most are interesting and tadty, but there are a few that are God awful. Really good jerk chicken. Each location is fun and upbeat. Service is friendly, but takes a while for your pie to bake. That’s fine… made to order is cool in my book. Great beer selection.

I went to Mellow Mushroom for my birthday. I’m a vegan and heard there crusts were okay for me to eat. I was delightfully surprised when the waiter informed me that not only did they have Vegan pizza’s but it came with Daiya cheese.
The pizza was awesome! All the veggies were al-​dente with a slight crunch and the crust was perfectly firm. The crust… MY GOD THAT CRUST… It was so yummy!!! Honestly its hard to describe, but it was like I was enjoying a multi grain artisan bread. I loved every bite, and I can not wait to come back.

I love Mellow Mushroom. The place itself is pretty cool but always super busy. The pizza and sauce are overall pretty good! I always get the Mushroom pizza which I forgot the name of but it always taste the same everytime I get it which is good.

Alright, so we hit this place anytime the boss is in town and it never fails to be awesome. The peoples pepperoni is always on point, and they have the best thin crust around! Not to mention anytime I wanna go gluten free they have a pretty amazing gluten free crust. The service is always great and the food is tasty! My only issue is that I think the gluten free is a tad bit pricy, but other than that the place is the besssssst!

This location is probably the best Mellow Mushroom around. While parking can get a little tight in the evening, there’s more space around. The food is fresh and great, while the pizza is exceptional. The crust is my personal favorite part, along with a nice salad to accommodate it as well.

I love mellow mushroom salads there Esperanza dressing is my favorite it’s like a creamy Italian. I would recommend the toss salad and any of the pizzas. They do slices at lunch and late night. Otherwise bring some friends and split a pizza. You must get the «Drunken Fun guys» there amazing dough pretzels bites. They have several beers on tap and mixed drink specials. They have happy hour! Lots of tvs.

Nah. The food is fresh, I will give them that.
Had the Capri Salad, called Caprice other places. The menu will tell you it is made with ‘fresh’ mozzarella. It is fresh, just not good. It was mealy and mushy, not silky and chewy as real mozzarella should be. Fir the price, it should be much better.
The pizza crust is whole wheat, something i did not notice on the menu. Not that whole wheat crust is bad, its just that their whole wheat crust has an overpowering WW taste, which detracts from the pizza as a whole. The toppings are fresh and of good quality and i enjoyed eating them without the crust.

Vibrant and active. Wonderful service. Great beer selection. Sat at the bar and was served by Lacy. Very attentive. Others behind bar also helpful. All learned my name and introduced themselves even though it was very busy. Started with Peace Portobello. This was very good mushroom cap filled with veggies and surrounded by salad. By far the highlight of the meal. Main course was steak and cheese calzone. This was a large portion but nothing special. All in all a good place to have a beer and good food with great service.

I was stuck in at the Jacksonville Hampton Inn due to a rainstorm and I couldn’t leave to eat dinner. So the front desk receptionist, Petra, recommended the mellow mushroom because they delivered only to the hotel. The House calzone I had a was amazing… very likely the best one I’ve ever had. I also had the Capri the salad which was good too. Overall, great service and great food. I will be back!
Food was so good I went back to the restaurant the next night with a coworker. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures!
Signature mushroom soup — order it and you won’t be disappointed! The only «opportunity» is the serving size. You can only get it in a bowl and if you eat more than half you might not have room for pizza…
Hummus — fantastic, great clean and simple flavor.
White pizza — exactly what I wanted even though I could only eat one slice.
The service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful I felt like family.
I travel to Jacksonville about 3x a year for work. I will be back and next time I have to get a Tshirt!

Great time at Mellow mushroom. I love the vibe of the space, service was great and the food was tasty. We really enjoyed he Mushroom Soup. We could not stop eating it. We enjoyed the wings. Although the Jerk Spices/​Sauce was not my favorite. Chicken was very tender but wish they had a bit more of a char on them personally.
Loved the Gourmet White Pizza. We added Pepperoni to the order. Very flavorful. I’m looking forward to having it for breakfast.
There was a shift change and a slight delay for a refill on my Beer otherwise I would have given a 5 star review. Thanks for a great time.

I love mellow mushroom.
The location is great. It’s to the left of Tinseltown movies. Parking can be a bit of a challenge; but there is ample parking across the street and behind the restaurant.
The staff has always been friendly. The bartenders always seem very happy and upbeat. Sometimes when you first sit down it takes a bit to get there attention, but once you do service is great from there on out.
Food is always great! They have happy hour 4 – 7 and a selection of the apps are only $ 5, plus $ 1 off drafts.

This was my first time at any Mellow Mushrooms.
This is a lovely restaurant, very nicely decorated, clean, lively and inviting place. Customer service was good as well, our waiter was very friendly, genuine and attentiive.
The highlight of my visit to MM is what I believe was the best looking pizza ever. So well done, so colourful, things in place, overall a piece of art.
Another highlight, they have a great selection of beers, they even have two of my favorite IPAs, Dog Fish Head 90m and Lagunitas.
I visited this place on a rainy and cold night. The place was packed, so I wonder how busy it gets on Fridays and Saturdays.
Pizza was good, so I would recommend to anybody.
