Yuca fries are awesome! Super friendly, quick and good food portions. Was a bit disappointed in the size/cost of the mango lassi, but tasted good with whole spices in it.

Love them! Had them come out to a party we threw and they were the talk of the night. People went for more than just seconds! I’ll never forget their amazing food truck!

I’ve only been here once, at the Food Truck Festival this year. I absolutely LOVED it. I shared my falafel with my family, and everyone – including the picky toddler – wanted more. Help a girl out! Where can I find this truck regularly?! As soon as I find its home, I’ll be a regular customer.

Absolutely fabulous and delicious food! I’ve been to 4 different food trucks in last 2 weeks, Fusion is the only one I fell madly in love with. Had the Fish Tacos w/fries. Everything hot and so good. I don’t go to fast food places so haven’t had fries in awhile. I dug in. the tacos were so good and filling. great price for a large meal. I also had the Panang Curry w/tofu. While waiting I smelled the curry sauce and became excited. It lived up to the smell. the veggies and tofu was perfect. next time i’m trying this curry w/shrimp. The prices are comparable to other food trucks with food no where as good. i had a panni w/swiss cheese, tomato & basil for a dollar less than Fish Tacos that I ate in 6 bites and left hungry. I highly recommend this truck and I’m so happy to find a food truck that can equal(almost) my undying love for«On The Fly’. Can’t wait to try different menu items.

Tikka Masala and Samosas were very tasty. Nice when someone asks you if you want your food spicy and then it actually comes that way. Very good heat.

I had high expectations for this food truck and they were definitely exceeded. We bee-lined straight for this truck at the Jaxons Night Market once we saw the«Indian» label. The Chicken Tikka Masala did not disappoint flavor-wise but could have had more rice to soak up the delicious sauce.(That’s my only complaint, a very Asian complaint at that.) The Veggie Samosas were perfectly fried and crafted with care. My friend ordered a Falafel Wrap which was great(from the little piece I sampled). I got my food surprisingly quickly — just before a long line assembled! The set-up for condiments and the menu were cute too. Presentation counts! Only slightly pricier than I expected but you are getting a full, hearty meal without having to spend time at a sit-down restaurant. I’m a sucker for Indian food off Baymeadows so I’m happy there’s a place I can have the grub a little closer to home.

Went to fusion yesterday for lunch at the Jax Food Truck Food Court. I’ve been hearing about the truck for a little while and took the opportunity to check it out. I ordered the special, two fish tacos, breaded and fried fish with a cabbage slaw and sauce with fried onions. It was terrific. Loved the seasoning and the fried onions were dipped in the same batter as the fish. It really added a nice touch to have contrasting but complimenting flavors presented in the same medium. What I appreciated about Fusion was the value for the price. We all know food trucks can get pricey, and sometimes the price doesn’t match either the quality or the portion size. I think Fusion gets it right. At least with their fish tacos. I’m looking forward to heading back to Fusion again in the future to try some more of their fare. Good job, Fusion.

Tried fusion for the first time today! I really like this food truck. Service was speedy, staff was attentive and friendly. Best of all, the hummus was supreme.(And being a vegetarian, I’ve had my share of hummus!) The hummus is fresh, topped with Olive oil and fresh basil. The dish included plenty of pita, all served in a spill-proof, travel friendly container. I’d definitely check this food truck out! It rocks.

Working in the Gate Riverplace Tower in Downtown Jax, we’ve been thrilled at the variety of Food Trucks visiting our location. I’m responsible for blasting our company with lunch options and an army of us head over to try the truck of the day. Last week we were visited by the Fusion Food Truck, which I’ve been wanting to try for quite a while. They’re vegetarian friendly as they offer Tofu or Chicken for all entrees, and their spice levels are Medium or Spicy. I opted for Medium and still found it pleasantly zingy. I ordered the Panang Curry w/chicken — coconut milk, panang paste, Thai basil, vegetables & cilantro($ 8.50) & a mango mousse($ 2.50). My esteemed colleagues ordered between them: Gyros($ 10.00), Yuca Fries($ 3.50) & meat Samosas($ 4.00). My Panang curry was pretty good. As a huge fan of Thai food I know what I do and don’t like and this was pretty tasty. My one complaint was that the flavour wasn’t too deep and the curry tasted a little watered down, however this is Thai on the go and it did the job. I also felt it could have benefited from a little lemongrass, but that’s just personal preference. The feedback on the Gyros was positive: tasty, fairly stuffed with veggies and meat, however it was felt that they were maybe a touch too pricey for such a relatively simple dish. The Samosa feedback was also positive, with the general consensus being that they were nicely spiced and tasty. I actually got to steal some of the Yuca Fries so can offer direct feedback: very starchy, like a thick-cut potato but with a nice sweetness at the end. Tasty and accompanied by a nice tangy sweet & sour Tamarind dipping sauce. My mango mousse was lovely and a nice end to my slightly spicy meal. As per other reviews, it isn’t too sickly sweet and I’m confident it will please appeal to those both with and without a sweet tooth. I like this food truck and we all enjoyed our food and hope that Fusion visits us again. I still have to try their Thai Tea and a Lassi drink(Indian yoghurt-based drink) as well as their Banana Curry and Tikka Masala(if it’s better than my Mum’s I’ll buy a hat solely to eat it).

My chicken tikka masala was very satisfying and they even have me some mango mousse on the house. I will certainly be back! It’s difficult to do Fusion well when so many of the entrees offered have the depth of flavor that only cooking over time can develop. However, Fusion as a food truck delivers!

This is one of the best food trucks in town. I’ve had the drunken noodles before and they were delicious but I wanted to try something else this time around. I wasn’t that hungry so I went with the meat samosas, which contains onions, peas, meat(tastes like lamb) and served with mint aioli. I love how the meat is seasoned with cumin. I LOVE cumin. The mint aioli is a little spicy but it’s ok. There was no way I was going to leave without getting the mango mousse. I had this at Unilocal’s Moonbeam Bash and went back for seconds and thirds. It is heavenly. That item is a must for everyone.

I had been dying to try Fusion Food Truck and finally had the chance at the Food Truck Championship downtown. It was a little tough to try as much as I wanted, but I made sure I saved room for Fusion. I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and the lamb gyro, for Adam and I to share. The lamb gyro was OUTSTANDING. Juicy lamb with super fresh cuke, tomato and the white onion… combined with the mild tzatziki and soft pita. It was hard to share and put this one down! While it was my favorite, the drunken noodles were really good as well. I did put some spice on it, and I was a little afraid Adam wouldn’t be down for the tofu. But he took a bite and said, «If all tofu was cooked this way, everyone would love it.»(I love tofu and it was pretty perfect. :) Definitely want to try the mango mouse and samosas next.

I had the panang curry and wow. U can choose your spice level. Nice assortment of veggies. U can also add chicken or tofu. The Thai iced tea was delicious as well. They do have tables set up for diners. The staff were super friendly and gave samples and suggestions. Will def b back. If u like them on Facebook you can see their locations each day.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for months. Ever since I saw that picture of that damn Mango Mousse! I can and will eat mango until I get sick. I finally saw them a couple of weeks ago at the Orange Park Food Truck shindig, but no Mango Mousse that day because they didn’t want to compete with some of the dessert trucks… I saw eff everyone elses desserts and let you sweets reign supreme! So another chance arose from the shadows when my eating buddy Julie A. told me they were st her job a couple of days for lunch and my new job just happen to be like 2 minutes away. I clocked out for lunch and met Juju at her job. I skimmed the menu for the elusive mango mousse but it wasn’t on the main menu =(…it was on a lil baby menu with funky colors… it read: Thai Tea and Mango Mousse $ 2.50 each… the clouds quickly opened up, the sun came out, and double rainbow formed… the time had come. Well not just yet, I wanted to torture myself more by eating my main course 1st. I decided to go with the Chicken TIkka Masala. I’ve been craving something«Tikka» ever since I was the Tikka Tikka Taco truck on the Food Truck Race on FOOD Network and Fusion did not disappoint. So much love is in this sauce, it is refined. I feel like the cook had a degree in making this sauce… its hard to explain. My favorite spot Orsay has 3 refined sauces that I love with my heart and soul… that’s the white wine sauce in the mussels, the tomato n stuff sauce for the sauteed calamari, and the house made cocktail sauce. The tikka sauce at fusion falls right into this good AF category. This is a must order and would be good on anything. a taco, a pizza, dip some pita bread in it, take a bath in it, whatevr floats your boat. After I devoured that Chicken Tikka… I ran back to the truck and got me Mango Moosey. It had the most perfectest plump blood red strawberry on top, cut and spread like they taught me in culinary school but it looked the way it looked in cookbooks. I destroyed the strawberry and took a huge whiff of the mousse… emmmm m a n g o. It was flawless, super light, the mango flavor was not too sweet, but juuuuusttt right. I just want to sit on the ground like winnie the pooh and his honey jar but it would be me with a bowl of strawberries dipping them in the mango mousse and eating until I fell asleep under a shaded tree. Fusion even had 2 tables with gold table cloths, legit napkin holders and 2 chairs on each table. Julie and I usually get primal and eat on the curb near parked cars but we got fancy. I applaud the effort, style, and accommodations. The blonde chick was genuinely nice, super bubbly, and had that go head and sit down and momma is gon take of you attitude. I was so tempted to get the Thai Tea but I didn’t have room cause Julie was makin me try her samosas. I tried to track them down in the southpoint business park today just to get the Thai Tea but I couldn’t find them or get a reply on Facebook. It says on the truck that she won best indian chef in san diego or something to that extent. That’s where I’m from and the food is to die for. That must be why the food is so good lol. I can’t wait to try other menu items and the Thai tea.

I won’t lie, I «previewed» the menu for this one to see what I wanted to order. Before getting there I had narrowed to down to the chicken tikka masala, the gyro, or the falafel. I decided to go with the falafel(which comes with fries). Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of my food(hey, I was hungry!) but trust me, it was great! The bread(it wasn’t quite pita, it was more like naan) was fantastic. In fact, when I started to get full I may have pulled out the filling and just finished the bread… I really enjoyed the tzatziki and all the crisp veggies. The fries weren’t anything special but fries are always a nice extra. The serving size was big(as mentioned, I couldn’t finish everything). I will definitely be back to try the gyro and the chicken tikka masala!

I love this truck. Ok maybe just Chef Ashley’s food. I’m glad that someone finally got a better address for this truck. I posted the last one and Unilocal chose a different location. Making it really hard to check in. The only thing wrong with this truck is their generator is really loud. I mean shout at the to talk or give them your order. Chef says they are working on it. Today I tried something different. Something that I haven’t had yet. The Panang Curry and let me tell you it was pretty darn good. I’m really glad to see a truck that when they say it has spicy. You can taste the spices. She also made me some of her new spinach curry for dinner. Then you have to get the Samosas either the vegi or the meat are really delish and a most have for me.

Chef Ashley hails from the restaurant world on the west coast(San Diego), as she owned four restaurants there before moving to Jacksonville. She has a passion for her craft and is excited to embark on a culinary journey as a food truck chef. The truck will feature a fusion of ethnic dishes — there are some Indian, some Mediterranean and some Thai. The standout that we tried was the chicken tikka masala which is a traditional indian dish. It was spicy but not too spicy, and served atop rice. The handheld fried samosas(stuffed with peas, carrots, and meat — or just vegetarian) were really good and served with a mint chutney for dipping. The doner kebab had juicy tomatoes, shredded lettuce, tztiki sauce and gyro meat, all rolled up in a squishy pita bread. The meat was excellent. The whipped mango mousse for dessert was a hit! Light and airy and busting with fresh mango flavor, the strawberry on top was a nice addition. Can’t wait to go back soon!
