Staff is super friendly. Hasn’t been crowded either time I’ve gone. Music is good too!

I stopped by here because it was next door to the comedy club I went too. I had a group of 15 and we got 4 tables and played tournament style. They had a full bar, TVs at the bar, and plent of space!!! There is plenty of tables so you don’t feel cramped and on top of eachother playing. It was a Saturday night and I was shocked how empty it was. We had fun. Perfect for big groups looking for something to do on the weekend.

3.5 stars Bankshots is a great pool hall in the UNF area. They have lots of tables(website says 22, but I’ve been at table 23 before?), reasonably priced drinks from their full bar, and a decent food menu. I’ve never had any issues from the staff, they’re always pleasant and attentive. $ 10 gets you unlimited pool from open until 6, and then one hour of pool after 6(at least that’s what it was last time I was there), and you don’t have to pay for the full price if you don’t play the whole hour. There is plenty of space in between the tables to shoot, which you often don’t find at other billiards places or bars with pool tables. I’ve had the loaded super nachos from their food menu. They’re yummy and portioned very generously, and decently priced for the quality and size. Drawbacks: Yes… it’s smoky. But most pool halls and bars are. It’s almost inevitable. And some of the groups that wander in there can get pretty rowdy, but same story as the smokiness; rowdiness is bound to ensue at some point when human competition and alcohol are mixed. However, I like the diversity of the patrons that frequent Bankshots. Bankshot Billiards is a cool place to relax and shoot a few games while enjoying a couple adult beverages, whether solo, on a date, or going out with friends.

Bankshots is a laid back, homey pool hall that caters to smokers, stoners and yes, the 40+ crowd sometimes. The booze is not cheap. Come on, $ 8.50 for a pitcher of Bud light? Really? $ 8 for a pint of guinuess? In a swanky place, maybe those prices can be justified. I like the younger crowd here. Most of them are very laid back and its a nice place to socialize if you’re not looking for a clean classy place. What can I say, sometimes the heart just wants a sketchy pool hall to hang out at. maybe that’s just me. Surprisingly, the bathrooms are clean, always a perk.

I was having a Cheers moment and felt like checking out the local hall. This is like a smoke-filled home. No one knows your name, but they fake it like we’re family. Off work early, why not stay and drink?! If you’re not into the club seen then why not have your first legal drink here. Decent drink specials — though I haven’t tried the food. I was a little surprised to see chicks in skirts/dressed, 5in heels, racking up. But I think those were pool sharks. Leaving out the door I see an old lady slap her helmet and hop on a motorcycle. This place is legit.
