Can they take any longer in getting the car back to me? This one guy cleaning my car was slow as molasses. Actually molasses moves faster than this guy… Thankfully the car wash was free because of a promo they were running. Felt like they should have paid me after all was said and done.

There is no getting away clean from this place. I just paid $ 48 bucks for a complete, top of the line wash and waited for 45 minutes! Well worth it for a top of the line cleaning. Right? When the guy waived to me that my car was done and I walked up to it, I thought he was joking! There were still bugs all over the windshield and front of my vehicle as well as patches of wax that were missed and filthy rims! And mine are very basic. All around the tailgate and back bumper, it was still black with road grime. The guys move slowly and pay no attention to what they are doing, there is no one supervising these guys. Highly disappointing and a waste of time.

Went back again today. Girl at the check in (where they ask what wash you want) was grumpy. Truck has dirty rims and the «shiny» stuff is splotches all over the tires and bumpers. I also had to lend her my clay bar to remove bugs and scuffs from the truck she was going to let me drive off in. Not much improvement at all.

Avoid! The automated car wash did $ 700+ in damages to my car (broke off my windshield wipers and scraped my windshield). The original manager on duty advised that they would take care of the damage, but when we spoke to the Sr. Manager the next day– we were informed that they wouldn’t pay for anything and was very rude and unprofessional. (And still had to pay for the car wash!)
Unfortunately, they made it clear that they’re not responsible for damage caused when you hand your keys over– which is incredibly unnerving. Please steer clear of this place if you want your car back in one piece!

The location is convenient/​close to home; they do a great job, I asked them not to drive my car through the bay and they hand wash it instead. I’m not sure about interior detail as I keep the inside of my car clean at all times. They do a great job on the exterior/​tires. I go here every other week for service which can be slow at times due to being super busy, especially on Saturdays, if you’re in a hurry, it won’t be lickity split service, other than that, I have no complaints, the price is right and the service is superb.

TERRIBLE. They broke the ac vent control lever in the center of my car’s dashboard. First they said it would not be a problem, their insurance would cover the cost which was substantial since the dashboard had wood on it and had to be replaced as part of the repair. Then they denied doing it. I had to take them to Small Claims Court which was costly and time consuming. In the end, after mediation, they only paid for ½ the cost of the repair and none of the expense associated with taking them to Small Claims Court. NEVER again! I discovered later the same thing had happened to a friend’s car, however, she did not report the damage.

I don’t why I continue to give my business to these people!!! I guess I hope that each experience will get better but it doesn’t. I purchased a full detail with a full wipe down inside and out plus the armor all and it looks like crap !! I don’t think they wiped anything down! This is now the third time… I’m so done. You guys are either rushing or simply don’t care. Don’t waste your money here. I’ll stick beaches car wash they do a really good detailed job… It’s worth the drive for me. So disappointed.

So disappointed. I’ve heard and read such great reviews, which now makes me wonder if they were fake? I took my car here today and got «THE BEST CAR WASH» for $ 30.00. They didn’t clean the inside, the mats, the inside doors, the outside had crud still all over it.
The guys were nice enough that cleaned it, but as I was driving away, I’m looking around and thinking …“Are you kidding me”? This is one of the best car washes on Unilocal? No. Way. For $ 30.00 AND they didn’t even put in the air freshener that I requested. The woman who took my order was extremely rude as well, but the cashier was VERY nice and friendly.
Unfortunately, I will NOT be back and if anyone has any good car wash places in the JAX beach area… please let me know.

Got there on a Saturday morning and only two cars ahead of me. Must of been at least 10 workers standing around drinking coffee, strolling from car to car as they dried and cleaned. I paid for the expensive service where dash is supposed to be wiped down. After a very long wait, I had to stand by the car and point about 5 places he didn’t clean. Not a lot of attention to detail at this place.

Slow and no urgency. At lunch hour since no other time to go. Just seemed like everyone was sorta lackluster. As for the cleaning it was fine but I could get similar results in less than 45 minutes elsewhere for a basic wash and vacuum.

I got my car detailed this morning. Terrible job. I went to breakfast after dropping the car off and was back in less than a half hour. The car door was open. No one when into it the car for half an hour. I asked if it was finished. They said yes. The car seats had not been cleaned. 45 minutes later they said the car was finished. The rear window was not cleaned, the interior of the car had dirt in the corners, the tires were not shined, and the window corners were still dirty. Terrible service. Was not worth $ 159.90 (stated value) or the $ 78 I spent on Amazon Local. Clean Getaway Car Wash does not understand what detailing entails. Would never recommend to anyone.

Close to the house and they always do a good job. The process takes a little longer than most places but the end result is usually pretty good. Be sure to check in as they sometimes give a coupon for $ off or additional services.

Great spot to get a quick car wash and express wax. The prices are very reasonable for the service provided (full wash, vacuum and express hand wax for under $ 50) and everyone working was upbeat and courteous.
Things can get a tad backed up if you’re looking for a quick drive-​thru wash; they finish each car by hand, which, in my opinion, is worth the wait. Sweet rocking chairs out front are great for catching up on some reading while you wait, or just watching the different cars roll through.

Left my rims completely dirty full of brake dust. I asked for a rag myself when they were done to finish cleaning them thinking they would finish the job, but instead he just handed me a rag and expected me to do what I just paid for. I do not plan on returning, save your money or find somewhere else that’s more thorough.

This is the place to go to get your car washed. They do a great job and the price is right. I like reading in the rocking chairs while I’m waiting for my car. I gave only 4 stars because they are always busy so you have to have some time to wait.

I think this place hired every student from Fletcher High School enrolled in the ESE program. Terrible communication between all staff members at this facility. Was told the entire wash would take approximately 25 – 30 mins. An hour and forty five mins later I was still sitting around and it still was not complete. The guy assigned to my truck was more focused on checking his phone than scrubbing the love bugs off my front bumper. Call me an ambitious go getter with half of a brain but I could have done a better job myself in half the time. The only reason I went was because I had a promotional offer in the mail. They did, however do a fantastic job in showing a new prospective customer why never to come back to this place. Blows my mind that they’re still in business. What a joke. Don’t go here no matter how dirty your vehicle is.

OK if you want a basic-​superficial car wash but no attention to detail in cleaning inside the car. Paid for inside cleaning/​vacuum and it was pitiful. Had to get the manager and have the staff member actually finish the job. Got home and checked again and still grass/​sand under the back seat floor mats. IF I go back, I’ll skip the cost for the (inept) cleaning. New to the beach and will shop around for better quality.

I visit Clean Getaway every two weeks. I like the way they finish the vehicle by hand rather than just run it through a machine then give it back to you. This extra service takes a little longer, but it is to be expected.
