The Whiskey Barber

I’ve had my haircut here by two different guys multiple times over the past year. It’s great each time! They’re awesome people and the shop is cool and comfortable. The only reason I’m not giving it 4 stars is it’s a bit on the pricey side for a simple haircut. However, I’m willing to keep paying it for as long as I live in JH because you’re the best there is here by far!

I stopped in while on vacation to get a cut, and was seen pretty quickly. The guy that did my hair did an awesome job, and the environment was great. The only problem I had with this shop was the price. It’s 25 for a normal haircut and they only take cash. However, there’s an atm just 2 blocks down.

Awesome place! Great hair cut and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping by for a trim or maybe even a glass of whiskey! Will definitely be back

Worst haircut I’ve had in years. They were busy, but I felt like just a number in line. The barber failed to listen to what I was saying and just did his own thing. When I asked him about it he used barber talk to tell me I didn’t tell him using the right words. I may just shave my whole head and start over. I don’t really love any of the barbers in town, but if you must get a cut I reccomend Teton Barbers. At least I’ve never had a bad cut there.

Mixed feelings on this. I went in great vibe, reading material and a good greeting. I started by describing what I wanted pretty clearly and he repeated back to me for confirmation, nothing out of the ordinary. During the cut I wasn’t facing the mirror once so I had to trust he was doing what I asked. At the end I see it, ask for the sides to be shorter and the length on the top to be more towards the top not fade into the sides. Well he says to me «no, I can’t do that» I was taken back by his attitude. Explains to me that it would look like I went to super cuts. Well you know what dick? I know what I wanted and it would’ve looked good, so just do what the customer wants. He strong armed me and would not finish like I had i had wanted it. There are other places in town that will give you a great cut without the bull shit of their egos. If you like getting told what hair cut to get then this is your place.

Such a great experience at this place! We were in the area on vacation, when we found this place on Unilocal!
We were sad to find out that, understandably, you must bring your own whiskey. They have shelves of whiskey that they keep there for the regulars.
Two adults and two children received great haircuts with last minute appointments. Super grateful to the friendly crew here.

Have a cousins wedding in Jackson this weekend. Stopped into town and this was the first place I saw. Ironically my computer died as I was searching for a place and when I just got back to the ranch now, I see that Whiskey Barber was in fact the first link I clicked on. What a riot. Dub gave me a fade. All with clippers. He took his time, and I wondered a few times what is this gonna look like, as one thing I noticed was all the barbers cut their customers hair with their back to the mirror. I don’t know if that was a weird analysis of if in fact that’s how they do it until the «final reveal». Well needless to say I was surprised to see one of the flyest haircuts I have ever received. Lots of locals walked in. Everyone seemed to know each other and it seemed really pleasant. Dub is from VT and has actually been to Gloucester where I’m visiting from so conversation goes a long way. Thanks dudes.

I love coming here! Dave and W. d are keeping me clean cut and stylin’. Great times when I roll through here.

Amazing barber shop in Jackson! They always cut my son’s hair extremely well, none of this chopped hair you see on some kids. Both barbers are super friendly and wonderful with customers and their kids. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a barber!

Doors closed as I stepped into «Teton Barbers», but they were very accommodating by suggesting «Whiskey Barber». Arrived at Whiskey with 5 min prior to close. Haircut took place just before closing, but my barber took his time making sure I was satisfied. Having a place like this back home would be awesome.
My barber cut 95% of my hair with scissors. The other 5% of my cut was with clippers to trim my neck and beard. Awesome job. Thx for the great haircut and great service.

Men & boys only. My boyfriend got a great haircut here and it’s just an awesome, comfy place to come hang out. They have glassware and whiskey so… or bring your favorite beverage.
