Airlock Insulation LLC

Professional, timely and on budget. Airlock was hired to insulate my new roof which was replaced due to fire. They were prepped and finished in one day as I was orchestrating several subs who were putting together a new master suite in my home. The A/​C guy came in after them and told me this was the best thing I could do to bring down my energy bills and he doesn’t even work for the company! Made me feel like I made a good decision.
I found the people at airlock to be courteous — no problems at all. Cleaned up nicely and were done in just a day. Would highly recommend them to others.

3 inches (nominal) of open cell spray foam was our product
They sent guys who had never done it before to our home.
They left guys with no clue what they were doing alone at our home doing their job.
There are areas you can see sunlight or exterior siding because they missed spots. There are places you can feel cold coming through as they left huge gaping holes. Total rip off! Unprofessional installation.
I paid for 3 inches but no way did I get 3 inches!
If you do your research the one thing they say is make sure the guys doing it know how to do it. I am sure some of them know how to do it but those are not the ones doing the installation. They left the place a total mess. The borrowed my ladder & lights and left them covered in spray foam. They blasted my front door and it won’t come off. 100% not satisfied and 100% not recommended. I will be buying my own spray foam and doing it myself so if its wrong its my own fault.
They have a great sales pitch but horrible final product.

AirLock has tried repeatedly to silence me and make false claims that I wasn’t a customer, but I would like to ask them how much more direct can you get then the owner of the company providing you with spray foam insulation and stating he was using this company. They are not people I would ever recommend anyone to do business with. Do your research into these men and you will see what kind of men are behind this company. I never want to have another family hurt by the Averys so I want to warn others about our experience so no one ends up in the same situation we did. I would like to say to Kurt B that your partner charged us for insulation, so if your company didn’t get paid (and you expected to) then you aren’t alone as the Averys have a history of not paying subs and/​or suppliers and have been involved in multiple lawsuits because of it. Maybe your lack of accounting for us as customers is an internal problem?
Update: Kurt B is no longer associated with this company. The Avery’s had to get a new member to apply for licensure with the Mississippi Board of Contractors for AirLock Insulation because the Board of Contractors will not let the Avery’s hold a license for AirLock due to disciplinary action taken against them on a previous company owned by the Avery’s.
