History

Established in 2008.

Since 2008, a sincere welcome has accompanied the scent of warm pastries and fresh coffee to anyone who stops by our South Hill establishment. But, don’t be fooled by the name, this Greco-Italian bake-shop offers more than just sweet treats. We also serve a full menu of breakfast and lunch fare that includes salads, sandwiches and soups.

Owner and chef, Maria Salino, grew from humble beginnings — making homemade pastas and pies as a little girl in her mother’s kitchen. With no formal culinary education, she has developed her business from the ground up, modestly spending the first years of her business baking everything out of toaster ovens.

The winning combination of local products, love of people, the Ithaca community, and great conversations has proven that we are here to stay. So, grab a coffee, a slice of pie, and lose yourself in the warm atmosphere of

Dolce Delight.
