Marconi Manor At Islip

I had the honor of attending my friend wedding reception here and overall things went pretty smooth from what I can see.
They have ample parking, clean restroom, and an inviting staff. The only thing I’d suggest, is them replenishing the cocktail hour veg and fruit table. The servers that had trays of food came out in a timely manner and I didn’t have to look for a server, which is always a plus.
This particular wedding was buffet style and the food was pretty good. The selections were mac & cheese, bake chkn, bbq ribs, steak, onion, and peppers on a stick, potatoes w/​vegetables, and bread.
I had the baked chicken w/​potatoes and veg and it was pretty tasty and hot (in temperature).
For dessert, there was the wedding cake of course, fruit tarts, pastries, fruits, tea, and coffee.
I believe my friend had maybe 120 guests, and everyone was comfortable as far as space is concerned. The room had beautiful lighting and it felt really intimate.

I had my wedding here on 5÷24÷15 and I had the absolute best time ever! Helen and her staff were phenomenal! They were very attentive from start to finish! The Dj was great everyone danced all night! The food was great! The room looked beautiful! Just like I pictured it would be! If I had to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing! I loved that it was a whole packaged deal and all the vendors were very informative and kept us in the loop! Thank you Marconi Manor for giving me my dream wedding at such an unbeatable price!

Cannot recommend enough, wedding planning with Helen and the staff at the Marconi Manor was easy from start to finish. My guests raved about the food, the atmosphere, and the DJ all night. I always felt well informed and never felt surprised/​left in the dark. I would absolutely have my wedding here again — they really make your event feel personalized and work with your budget.

Went there for a wedding, food was amazing! Service was unbelievable and the maitre d Helen was so helpful. The room has been renovated and what a difference! A++++

I did not eat an the Marconi Manor but I had the food at the Seatuck Eco-​Carnival and it was very good. I was a bit surprised but I’m not sure why. I had the BBQ chicken which was huge and juicy. The pulled pork was also plentiful, moist and tasty. The burger was just OK. Sounds like they’re also catering organic foods, which sounds interesting to me. I wish them a lot of luck with that. I think there’s definitely a market for it. Overall, a positive food experience. I would definitely consider Mastrontonio Catering for a BBQ or party.
