Walmart Supercenter

This is the closest Walmart to where we live, and it met our needs for the items we needed right away after our move here. It has everything you need! One of the ladies at the register today seemed so unhappy! There was no greeting or smile. I don’t expect much at Walmart, but sadly she left me with a mean rub. Hope she was just having a bad day.

Everyone ends up shopping at a «Wally world» sooner or later. The prices are just too inexpensive to pass on. This one is a full service store: groceries; pharmacy; auto care; eye center, etc.
This Walmart is not as junkie as many usually are. This location is usually clean and less cluttered. As long as I don’t come here on a weekend, I can get in and out quickly. The weekends are overflowing with human beings; you’ve been warned :-)
I like that this locale offers self checkout. Overall, the items here also tend to be of better quality. We all know how grocery stores and «big box» stores place «nicer» items in locations they consider «upscale.» It’s a frustrating true fact.
The folks in the auto center are friendly and helpful. Other workers here walk off with a glazed look in their eyes if you ask for assistance, thus the two stars.

As many of us know Walmart is a horrible corporation. I would’ve given them zero stars if it were possible to do that on Unilocal.Today is Friday, December 11. I went into Walmart to go to the hair salon at approximately 1145 am.
I had pulled out of my parking space and my truck was completely in the lane to drive out. There was a Walmart employee, a short Hispanic gentleman, age late 20s to mid 30s, wearing his hair in a short ponytail and wearing dark glasses, similar to aviators. PLEASE NOTE, I do not give this description because I am a racist (so save that for a rainy day.) I give this description on the off chance that this Walmart, on Market Center, Boulevard in Irving Texas will actually monitor social media sites.
The Corporate Walmart web site is so
intentionally convoluted that you cannot get close to any customer service link. Anyway, this man couldn’t have been 6″ from my truck wil a row of shopping carts. I know he didn’t see it because he looked up at the last second and in an annoyed tone said bitch. Nice. A positive hire Walmart.
Do you have the stones to address this. Or will you hire 10 more of his ilk? Not A big surprise as to which one my money is on.

I only go here very early in the morning on the weekends when I need groceries. The level of cleanliness is not there, the quality of their inventory is poor. I would expect more for the location but sadly I’ve lived here 4 years and its only gotten worse.

Went in to buy money order for rent and tried to use 2 separate payment (debit card). I used the first for $ 500 and the remainder for $ 350 but some reason it asked for CSM (which is manager). I wanted to wait see why but the girl at the register (Andrea she is black) cancels the transaction. I then check the balance on my card and the $ 500 was pulled from my account. I then asked for receipt but her and also a manager who was near by told me it would take time. I know for a fact if it’s a debit transaction that it would reverse back into my account. I went shopping inside the store and waited to see if the $ went back yet. I know it’s the weekend and credit usually takes time to refund. So I left the store… Driving home I thought bout it and I said no way this is right. I proceeded back to the store got another manager to check, get me a receipt but he went in and found the transaction. He saw that it was refunded as a cash transaction… He counted the register and realize that it was $ 500 over. Gave me $ 500 cash and didn’t say sorry or nothing. Fucking Walmart needs to train these fucking imbecile to be better customer representatives. Especially managers. Honestly if you live near another Walmart go to the ghettoes location. I guarantee you will find basically all items cheaper then in the nicer locations.

Worst Walmart I been too and it’s in the Las Colinas area.
Had 7 items so I stood in the 10 or less item line as I was putting my things down and at same time try to put the packed bags into my cart the cashier told me «move your shit down for me». I hadn’t even had a chance to turn around to do it for her. She could have used a more nicer language. I told her I was sorry and told her it wasn’t nice to use that language. Her response «I’m 68 years old I can talk how the fuck I want».
I told the supervisor on duty but I doubt he would do anything. I refuse to go back to this Walmart.

I know this is a Walmart and expecting anything good to come of your experience here is both sad and laughable. But after being stranded in this awful town for 3 hours we ended up here, to try to fix our spare in the parking lot so we could get home.
Have you ever heard that song «I always feel like somebody’s watching me?» Well I’m pretty sure they wrote that song for your experience at this Walmart. The entire time we were there, working on getting our tire changed and the spare repaired, we had Champion National Security literally surveilling us from «afar» to make sure me, my 60 year old mother, and my husband wasn’t some hardened, murderous criminal. Because we were acting so suspicious being stranded at walmart without a proper jack and trying desperately to get our tire fixed so we could go home.
I would understand if he just wanted to drive by and watch us for a minute to make sure we weren’t some dangerous criminals but he didn’t. He watched us the whole time, kept creeping by slowly not asking us if we needed help or anything. Then, instead of realizing were just some worn out people with bad luck, and leaving to watch for real crime, he goes about 150 ft away and turns his car towards us and just watches us. Then drives by our truck, slowly creeping by, and just watches us. Then he goes and parks somewhere else semi close by, and just watches us from there. At one point when we clearly could us some help, he just drives by with his window down staring at us. This went on literally the whole time we were there, (two hours, TWO HOURS.). He never offered to get help or to help us one time. It was probably the creepiest thing I’ve ever experienced at a Walmart and it disgusts me they would treat their customers as such.
The cashiers and managers look and act as though they couldn’t pass kindergarten if they wanted to but I don’t think they have much going on in their heads to begin with. My mom really had to go to the bathroom and went in without shoes because she was to tired to put them on. She had tights on so I doubt her bare feet even touched the floor. Immediately upon entering this woman stated she couldn’t be in there without shoes. My mom said well, I really need to pee and proceeded to walk to the bathroom. I told her we’d been stranded for 5 hours, and we were far from some dirty hobo frequently trying to molest the floors with our toes, we had on nice dresses and were clearly clean people. Well despite all this she of course immediately threatens to call security and have her fined ! Wow. Anyway we went ahead and bought some cinder blocks since our jack was a bit too small and I think both the cashiers had an aneurysm and died after I left from them having to use their brain more they had ever before.
In short, if you want brain dead, lifeless morons to make you feel like you’re a dangerous criminal, then I totally recommend this place! !

I really hate this Walmart. The employees always look miserable. If they’re not miserable then they’re either really rude or lazy because they are no where to be found. If it’s not the employees that are being rude, then it is the customers. It is always crowded and never clean. When I usually do go here, it’s because I go after the gym
Btw: Watch out for expired food!

Do not come here to pick up your Ticketmaster tickets. No one can work the machine there and they will send you clear across town to get them at the Airport freeway location. I come here for quick odds and ends and they are usually fully stocked. I mean really folks… can you beat the prices at Wally World? Absolutely not. Is it a pain in the patootie to navigate and the lines are ridiculously long? Absolutely yes. But because they always have what I need I will continue to pop in and out of here. End of story. Now move out of my way before you get run over by my shopping cart. Love you, mean it.

I like this Walmart so much better than the one off Ester Rd. It’s huge and clean. Has self checkout and more cashier working. Affordable price with the saving catcher is a plus!

Shop early here. Before 8 am… This place gets crazy. And long lines but if you ever need a manager to come to the cash register. Forget it. You will be there for at least 10 – 15 min. .
Since I go there early in the morning. Stockers are there doing their job and are. Very helpful… And they do a good job.

It’s a Walmart.
You go, you juke and jive around people, its crowded, you put stuff in your cart, then wait in line.
All Walmarts seem the same to me… some have fancier shelves… some have fancier fruit.
Fancy or not — its a Walmart. I only buy workout shorts there.

I hate Wal-​mart 99% of the time & really make an effort not to come here. I wish I could say there was an optimum time to shop here without all the bustle but there’s really not. If it’s not an employee who is pissing you off, it’s the people. Fortunately I have not had an encounter with a rude employee but there have been several instances where I just wanted to ram my cart into the back of some rude and unsuspecting douchebag customer. Trust me, I used to be a really nice person until I moved to Irving; now I just scowl a lot.
The parking lot is enraging. I am not sure how many individuals I have thought about mowing down with my Honda but it’s definitely more than my fingers & toes. My poor boyfriend gets the brunt of my rage because he has to sit in the car while I scream at people to walk faster or speed up their mechanical wheel chair. It’s just… I don’t have a word for it. This place is like fucking Disney Land but without all the happiness.
I believe that a piece of my soul is sucked out each time I come here.
I cannot complain about any of their grocery items because I rarely shop here for that. They have a very small selection of vegetarian items and their produce section is vomit-​inducing. I don’t even want to think of all the nasty people that touched an apple after picking their ass. /​shudder
The only reason I come here is to get allergy medicine from the pharmacy. They never smile, which is fine to me because I rarely do it myself, but the service I receive is always stellar. I can only speak for myself & my experiences and they always deliver.
Another reason I shop here is to get pet stuff. Usually litter for my cats or toys for my dog. Aside from that, I really try to avoid this black hole.

BEWARE of expired food.
I was in the store 4÷4÷14 to buy Bolthouse drinks in the juice section. They were dated with 3÷18÷14 as the expiration date. I found this woman to help me and she brought it to the attention of the what I call, manager of this section. He said ok. She removed the expired products (about 12 bottles). These products have no preservatives and require refrigeration. SHAME ON WALMART!!!
Like everyone else, I shop here due to the low prices but Kroger is slowly catching up to WalMart with the low prices. Kroger may be 10 to 50 cents more but the stores are clean, well-​stocked and the employees are helpful and professional.
Kroger is slowly becoming my store to shop for all of my grocery needs. WalMart has turned into a joke.

This is Walmart, you get the items and service what is expected of WalMart; nothing less nothing more.
It being 24 hours store make it easier to shop at your convenience. You can shop here while getting your tires fixed or battery changed; stay away from the hair salon though. If you need eye wear, they don’t have a whole lot to select from but comes with pretty good warranty and the optometrist there is alright. The produce section has improved but is still hit-​or-​miss, so it is best to get it elsewhere.
Not the best of the stuffs and services but a lot of stuffs at one stop to make it really convenient: watching Uncle Si new t-​shirt while waiting in line to send money, getting your coins converted and deciding which ecertificate to take, sipping McD coffee while getting your nails done, taking your family portrait and getting tax done on the same day, First Convenience Bank enticing you to open a new acct by putting people inside a air-​blowing cylinder and making them collect as many George Washington as you can in a min… Yes, it all happens here!!! This place is a microcosm of American Consumerism.
Employees here comes from all walks of life; some accent sounds exotic, some makes you wanna pull your hair but most of them are pretty helpful if you are patient enough. There are two old ladies at either entrance greeting and welcoming you to spend some money… ahh, how nice of walmart it takes care of our elderly generation!
If you can weather the storm, the big and loud crowd that it is, then it is alright to shop here and save some money but there definitely are better places within less than a mile if you don’t mind 10 – 30 cents extra on most of the grocery items.

This location is just fine. On the clean and well kept up side. I would not recommend going grocery shopping here on Sunday as the produce is picked over. Friday is the best for produce shopping, in my experience.
Occasionally, the home repair section is out of items needed. Last night we needed an electrical cable connector to install a new garbage disposal and they were out. Quick fix for us, but it would have been nice to have had it in stock.
Overall, this is a clean and efficient Wal-​Mart.

UGH! Shopping in Walmart is just painful. So, why go? Two reasons: The prices are cheaper, and they are not having issues with credit card info theft. I felt like I was cheating on Target today.
Besides the lower prices, the place pretty much sucks. The unfriendly, loud-​mouthed employees hollering at each other like we are at a college party… The many items out of stock (because the loud-​mouthed employees don’t care)…The filthy floors…

I wish I could give negative stars. I ordered something «site to store» because it was 30 dollars cheaper than anything else online (which shocked even me).
I should have just paid the difference and got it from Amazon.
I waited 30 mins in a cramped area while no less than a dozen store associate walked by and didn’t even acknowledge the patrons and myself waiting to pick something up.
Completely disorganized mess… if it weren’t for the lowest socioecenomic denominator, this place would be out of business…
bathroom was filthy, employee’s knew nothing about products, and it’s a completely gross store… even compared to other walmarts.
Do your research, you aren’t saving but maybe 5 – 10 dollars on your groceries here… it’s not worth it.

Wal-​mart is dipping its toe into organic and hormone free products and there are some at this location so look for those in the grocery section.
This store has the garden section on the far right. And the pharmacy, hair care, personal items, toys, hardware, electronics, etc are all on the right hand side of the store as you enter also.
This is perfectly fine since you don’t need to worry about these items getting warm while you shop for your milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt on the other side of the store but, you may actually want to consider your space planning on your cart or perhaps bring along a spouse or the kids for that extra cart help should you need it at the other end of the store.

Don’t shop at this one-​way money train that is bleeding this nation dry. And for what? Cheaply made plastic crap that’ll probably end up out in the trash. The staff was so rude to me, The Cashier would not sell me an item because it had no tag, She directed me to go grab another one with a tag if I wanted it, I asked her to call the dept. and have them look up the UPC that’s what ever other retailer in the world does. She insisted no…
