Spa At Four Seasons Resort And Club Dallas At Las Colinas

On a much-​needed day off, a good friend of mine gifted me a spa day at the Four Seasons to relax and treat myself. I’ve been here a while back for a massage and could not wait to indulge again. I arrived right on time, even though they suggest you to come 30 min before, and they were super nice about it. Parking is easy, and the spa is located near the pool and the golf carts. The spa facilities are very nice, and all the amenities are included if you are a spa guest… also complimentary if you are a hotel guest. The amenities include comfy robes, lockers, sandals, full array of lotions, deodorant, soaps, shampoo/​conditioner, hair ties, sanitized brushes and combs, and hair dryer and straighteners. The spa area consists of steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools. If you go outside, there is a spa pool upstairs which is a small pool area with plenty of lounge chairs. This is separate from the big pool and much quieter. There is staff there to take any food or drink orders and they even lay out your towels for you!
I started out with a 30 min Lavender Private bath and ended my treatment with a 60 min Nirvana massage. The lavender bath was definitely nice to do first because it actually relaxed me before my massage — usually I don’t fully relax until my massage is almost over, so I really liked that. My massage therapist was amazing and the pressure was on point to my needs. Overall I had a relaxing couple of hours at this place, and I totally took advantage of using the spa facilities and showers before heading home. I especially loved the friendly and super nice staff. Thanks for such a relaxing day!

The Spa is absolutely the best day escape in Dallas. A must do is massage and peppermint foot treatment-​request Gertrude. Simply the best massage therapist I’ve had in 30 years!
We had lobster tacos by the spa pool to finish the afternoon, who needs to fly somewhere.,

My wife and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary and we decided to make a quick weekend trip to Dallas Las Colinas Four Seasons. The couples massage we just completed was amazing. My wife and both commented to each other how great we feel. The 2 massage ladies were incredibly professional and should both be given employee of the month. General Manager you should be proud of your staff !!

Wonderful spa to get pampered in luxury by expert hands. I’ve tried massages, facials, scrubs and haircuts there and I’ve always been very happy with the results. Very pricey but a good splurge for a body indulgence.

Just left the Four Seasons Spa. Feeling relaxed and refreshed! My masseuse was Hailey. I asked for concentration on shoulders and feet and let her know that as I age, my legs are getting more tender. She really worked on my shoulders with a firm steady pressure that felt wonderful, but remembered to use a lighter touch on my legs. Very nice person who listened! Released a ton of tension. Kay did my facial. Again, very relaxing and she listened to my concerns. Both were about 50 minutes. Nice light scents; not overbearing. I think I fell asleep in the facial.
I enjoyed the sauna, whirlpool, and steam room which was full of eucalyptus steam. I didn’t get to lounge at the pool as today was stormy, but did take a look. Very nice with plenty of lounge chairs and lounging areas.
Peach tea and lemon and cucumber waters were very nice. Ate an apple while relaxing with a magazine by a water wall. Some ladies ordered from the kitchen. I did not, but the food looked very good and they seemed pleased.
Loved the multi-​head showers. The shampoo and conditioner had a refreshing grapefruit scent.
I would go a couple of hours early next time to use the amenities prior to my facial so I don’t wash/​steam the moisturizers off.
Valet parking was easy and validated.
Had a wonderful time. Try it!

This is for the Salon only, which is part of the Spa. I went to get my hair done for a wedding. I had already washed my hair, so they just needed to style. I requested a side sweep and she teased and put like 5 bobby pins in. She then charged me for an updo for FIVE bobby pins. ugh. They charged me around $ 80. I tried to talk to them but they said that since they «worked» on my hair, they had to charge me that amount.
I had another resso for my friend and I warned her. They charged her the normal around $ 60. Yikes! Know what you’re getting into b4 you go!

I like this place. I had the ritual which was delicious jets of water bathing you. What’s not to like? There is a spa area and also a relaxation room which was actually quiet when I was there. Why didn’t I give it higher marks? Because you had to fill out a piece of paper and carry it around with you to give to your therapist (I know… Woe is me). There are no snacks besides apples. And there is no cell reception which you can argue is a good thing. If you’re in the area, try the ritual. It’s different and will relax you.

Every visit is consistently great! I have never had a bad experience here! Today, I had Lee for a 90 minute hot stone massage! I highly recommend this massage and Lee!!! The sauna, hot tub, and steam room are also great to enjoy pre and post massage! Clean, Calm, and worth a visit! Valet is also complimentary when you visit the spa!

I’ve been at cheaper places with better service, the girl who did my pedicure it seemed as if She was in a hurry, nothing professional!!!

My only complaint is there’s no common area for couples. Other than that, I would return a lot! I understand separate facilities but come on… not even a relaxation area that we could hang out and chat?

This review is for the spa/​massage and not the salon. The salon looked lackluster and cramped but my wife didn’t have any services there. I’ll let her take it from here.
This was a pregnancy package. Including a preggo massage and pedicure. Let’s start with the pedicure. This was not any more special than a pedicure at an above-​average strip mall place. I probably won’t have one again here unless I’m here for other reasons and really need a pedicure.
The massage, however, was awesome. Just magnificent. They have a special massage table for pregnant women. And it was awesome. I haven’t been able to lie down on my stomach for weeks so this was great. My MT was super duper skilled and friendly. She really had it going on. Rosalee I think? I’ll be back for a rub down but will skip the pedicure next time.

If you are looking for a in-​town getaway, I highly recommend the spa experience. The amenities and experiences included with every treatment are enough to make you want to return.
The spa area includes separate areas for men and women with a sauna, a steam room, an indoor whirlpool and small plunge pool. There are two sitting areas: one by a water wall, and the other is around the indoor pools. You will find comfortable robes, towels and pillows along with magazines and drinks like fruit-​infused water, iced tea or hot tea.
The locker area is large with vanities and almost everything you’d need to get ready after your spa treatment. Hairdryers, curling or straightening irons, brushes, combs, etc.
There are a few showers including a large shower with side jets and a rainfall shower.
I checked in early for my treatments and enjoyed some time by the spa pool, a private outdoor pool and whirlpool for spa guests. I didn’t see staff there but I did see a lunch menu and fresh fruit smoothie menu, plus cold water and magazines. The outdoor pool is a co-​ed area, and visible from above by people in guest rooms, so I would highly suggest a swim suit.
My treatments were phenomenal. I can highly recommend Francis for massage — she really stretched and worked my back muscles while maintaining medium pressure. The clove scalp treatment was wonderful as well. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I felt like I was in there for two hours and it was only 50 minutes.
My facial with Leslie was lovely as well — she helped me to understand what my skin needed and did not pressure me to purchase anything that she used during my treatment.
All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful, constantly tidying up around the spa without being invasive. The spa was quiet and calming.
This would be an excellent girls weekend or bachelorette party experience, or even just a great way to take a «personal» day for yourself.
If you valet, the spa can validate your parking pass.
I hope I can come back soon and will plan to allow more lounging time!

I got my facial from Karen and she was wonderful. Very friendly and relaxing. I will be back to see her again for my next facial.

I took my best friend here for her a surprise birthday treat and overall it was a relaxing place. We both got the custom massage with scalp treatment and had no complaints. The amenities that the spa offered were sauna/​steam room, swimming pool outdoors, heated jacuzzi indoors, and relaxation area. I enjoyed the outdoors pool, but the jacuzzi was a bit over heated. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. They even surprised my friend with a birthday dessert.
I feel that the spa needed an update on décor. A few areas around the locker room were also dirty and there was a dirty brush in the clean bowl after I got out of the shower. I might be back here, but I do prefer a more updated modern spa.

A great place for relax!!! They have extended facilities, with steam/​sauna, big jacuzzi and swimming pool outside. Staff is highly friendly and attentive to you. I did facial with Melisa, and she is a professional one! I deeply relaxed during the facial and my skin looked fresh and smooth. Melisa gave me useful advices, also, I chose one facial but she advised me to choose different one what was better for my face.
Extra, I used their hair salon where I also had a wonderful experience! They really know how to do look you beautiful! I put 4 stars bc of receptionist in the spa. We scheduled my hair appointment on second day. When I came in next day they told me that my appointment was booked on next week– what??? I was really upset, bc we had night out, ordered babysitter in the hotel room and they told me no hair updo tonight. Anyway, they solved this mini misunderstanding and did my hair a little bit later than my appointment was.
If you are staying in this hotel you must check their spa and use facilities! My one advise: check twice all your appointments time and date!

I decided to take a day off from work and spend the day at the Spa… and this place was a perfect choice! I arrived about 20 minutes early for my appointment; this gave me the chance to look around and not feel rushed. The spa is fairly large with plenty of lockers, changing areas and there is no shortage of amenities. The waiting area includes a cold plunge pool, a hot tub, sauna, steam-​room and a handful of plush chairs, loungers and two table setups (for eating). There are two waiting areas; one around all the stuff I just mentioned and one on the other side of the locker room which includes mostly couches, a waterfall, and plenty of magazines. The are not many seats in the waiting area around the sauna, etc. so I noticed that there were several people just standing around waiting to be called in for their treatment. Sort of awkward. I was glad to have a seat while I waited.
First up was a massage — it was awesome! Probably one of the best I have had. I then had a 35 minutes break until my facial — I lounged, ordered a smoothie and just did nothing. It was awesome! The smoothie was pretty good. I also noticed others ordering lunch, etc. so they really have you covered if you want to truly spend the day. Next up, the facial. The facial was good, not the best I have had but I can’t really pinpoint why. I liked the smell of the products and my face stayed fresh looking for days!
After both my treatments — I decided to hop into the steam-​room. Spa Steam-​rooms are one of my favorite things about spas and this one was just great. Onto the hot tub; perfect temp and the skylight above lets in some natural sunlight. I still wasn’t ready to leave, so I went outside to lounge by the private spa pool. Perfection — quiet and separate from the hotel’s main pool. After spending just about 5 hours here, it was time to leave. I hopped into the shower and OMG seriously awesome. The shower has several shower heads, an overhead rain head and just the right amount of pressure. I did not want to get out. Amazing.
Everything was great, but I did have one issue when checking out. I was charged $ 10 extra for an aromatherapy upgrade. As my massage therapist was walking out of the room to let me change; he asked me if I wanted aromatherapy; mint or lavender. Sounded nice, so I stated mint. Not once did he tell me there was an extra charge for that so you can imagine my surprise when I saw it on my bill. I know it was only $ 10; but it annoyed me. The receptionist kindly offered to take it off my bill.
If you find yourself looking for great spa, go here. Definitely plan on spending some time here to enjoy all it has to offer. Overall I had an awesome day and will for sure return.

The facility and the staff are steller. I spent a good half day at the spa and tried to take advantage of all the great amenities. I bought a travelzoo voucher which included a massage and a scalp massage. I left my massage feeling great and renewed. After my massage I tried out the hot tub, sauna, steam room and cold water plunge. I am not sure if cold water plunge is the appropriate name but thats what I’m calling it. My favorite amenity is the steam room which is filled with eucalyptus so you can clear your sinuses while you are in there.
Although I enjoyed my spa outing, there were a couple things that I would recommend. Provide a flat iron in addition to the hair dryer and curling iron. Other spas have them and I like flat ironing my hair more than curling it. I’d like to at least have that option. Fix the soap, shower gel and conditioner dispensers in the shower. I didn’t realize they were broken until I got into shower. The labels were actually off so I didnt know what I was using and had to guess. They also need more than two bathroom stalls. There wasn’t a lot of traffic when I was there but there were many who came in as I was leaving. I would also recommend having some small snacks to nibble on while there. They had apples and the regular cucumber water and peach tea but I was getting hungry. Some small bits of cheese, fruit and crackers would have been nice. Many spas that I’ve been to have this provided to their guests.
Even though there are things I would recommend, this is one of the better spas that I have been to in the Dallas metroplex. I do plan on coming back the next time they sell Travelzoo vouchers.

I live in West Virginia now (boo) and it’s cold as all get out there. My family still lives in Dallas, so when I come back to civilization for the holidays, I like to treat myself. I wanted a spa day with a steam room! Seriously, it’s freaking cold there. Anyways, the Four Seasons had good reviews, a plunge pool, hot tub, and yay steam room! I booked the 50 minute massage and the Ruby Red Grapefruit body scrub. While there, I also added on the Moroccan Argan Oil scalp treatment. Well, it was perfect timing because the week before I came home, I was sick, so the steam room was more important than ever! Ok, on to the experience.
Only minus: the night before I called the hotel concierge and explained that I was a non guest coming for spa treatments, and would I have access to the gym? I was told I would, however when I checked into the spa, I was told the gym was only for guests. Boo.
So the facilities themselves are very nice. It’s very peaceful and relaxing in there, and since I went on a Monday there was no one there. Just how I like it! They have the peach tea, cucumber water, and grapefruit water there. I did the hot tub-​plunge pool circuit about 3 times. The steam room was amazing. Like someone else reviewed, if they added aromatherapy to it, I would never come out. Heaven!
The grapefruit scrub: done in the vichy suite. Smelled amazing! And I’d never done a vichy shower before-​but this was done on a bed, with warm water raining down on me while the scrub and brushing were done. OMG. I really could lie there all day and have someone scrub my skin off while water rains down on me.
The massage: Sandy was my therapist and the pressure she used was perfect. I opted for an argan oil scalp treatment which smelled amazing and felt even better! If i could, I would hire someone to just play with my hair all day and massage oil into my scalp. This came with a warm pillow under my neck and lavender eye covers.
After I was all done, I ran back to the steam room for one more session; then showered up in the 3 head shower: mist, rain, and body. I need this in my house. Like, yesterday. Along with the vichy shower and someone to rub oil into my hair. All in all I was there about 3 wonderful hours. I’m currently trying to figure out how to sell my husband on financing another day for me there, because I want to go back like now! It was an amazing spa day and I will absolutely be back everytime I come back to visit!

Amenities, amenities, amenities. Over half the value of whatever treatment you sign up for is in all the great stuff you get to use before/​after! If you schedule a 50 min treatment, you’re missing out if you don’t block out at least 2 – 3 hours from your schedule to make sure to have enough amenity time.
I’ve had great Swedish massages and a pretty nice facial (great microderm treatment) at the spa, but the real highlight is always the great relaxation areas. I’m a sucker for steam rooms, and I adore this one. It doesn’t have that annoying/​alarming loud burst of steam every few minutes — it’s just a very muffled, quiet, steady stream of fresh steam that permeates through the room from a single wall. The only audible interruption to my relaxing meditation is a slight dripping sound, which is hardly intrusive. If they made it scented, I don’t know that they’d ever be able to get me out of it. I’d be the happiest pruney woman in the world.
Jennifer C has it right about the showers. I rarely exceed the 10-​minute mark on my showers, but I could hang out in these babies for half an hour (sorry, Mother Earth). I can’t think of a single thing you might need toiletry-​wise that they don’t have laid out, but in case you need something, there are always wonderfully kind staff tip-​toeing around who will gladly help make your visit more relaxing in any way they can.
The hot spa tub is amazingly relaxing — drenched in sunlight from the glass ceiling above, it almost feels like you’re outside (but a climate controlled version of outside!). I’m too much of a wuss to do the cold plunge thing, but it’s there if you like that «refreshing» jolt.
The outdoor pool area is fantastic — relaxing and separate from the normal guest pool, as Jennifer C mentions. In case you’re a spa-​goer who loves being in the buff as much as possible, make sure you bring a suit for the pool — it’s common to both genders. I know some spas have separate outdoor areas to maximize allowable nudity, but this is not one of them.

My friend and I went to the Spa at the Four Seasons to use the groupons I had purchased for the 50 min massage a while back and I was impressed.
We were about an hour and a half ahead of schedule so we decided to just go early and take advantage of the facilities before our massage.
They checked us in and then showed us to the locker room area and gave us a quick tour of everything around (bathrooms, waters, peach tea, towels, showers, hot tub, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, relaxation area, locker room — there is a private pool for the spa folks but sadly it was closed for a private function that day) so we had our bearings. The attendant then showed us to our lockers and handed us our robes and mine was nice and big and cozy (ARE YOU LISTENING EXHALE? Because you should be).
We changed into our robes, grabbed some spa water and headed to the relaxation area where we settled into a couple of chaise lounges with magazines. After a bit we sat by the hot tub and put our feet in the hot water and then froze our little toes in the 65 degree plunge pool. I loved the iced towels next to the hot tub… VERY handy after being warm. Just as I thought about ordering a smoothie from the attendant one of the staff called my name… it was time for my massage.
They have separate male/​female relaxation areas so a woman came to get me, but then delivered me to my masseuse — Dale — who did an amazing job. I left my 50 min massage feeling like a brand new person. My friend said her massage was just as amazing as mine — she even fell asleep during it — and she’s never done that before.
I heard that there was an amazing shower in the ladies locker room that I had to check out — so I did. Wow — This shower had a rain shower head, a regular shower head, 4 jets, 2 misters, and a hand held shower head — all with independent controls! It was like a water park in there. As you would expect the showers are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shave gel, and body wash.
The locker room is fully stocked with blow dryers, flat irons, I’m betting there was a curling iron but I didn’t look, brushes and combs (they clean them — so look for the clean bin so you don’t get a dirty one), mouth wash, lotion, a rather random but effective spray on deodorant, and more.
Note: In case you self park like I did… Don’t bother — the girl that checked us out said they will validate if you valet.
Next time I want to spoil myself I will definitely go back here for another massage.
