This place was just ok for me. The food was pretty good, pretty good prices. The atmosphere not that great. We went right before closing so that may be why but there are too many Asian food places around to think about going here often.

This one is at 13901 Midway Rd. in Farmers Branch. Way better than the dump that use to here! OMG. Need to add the Farmers Branch Location to Unilocal

Blue colar type of place, very little décor but nice, it is small but bigger than a whole in the wall, fairly clean but they really should bus the tables more frequently, the biggest problem is the uneven floor. The food is americanized but still tasty. I had the chicken with snow peas in a white wine sauce with very fresh crisp veggies in it, and also tried the orange chicken which was very good, not drenched in syrup. The fried rice was nice and fluffy and not greasy which was a pleasant surprize. Definetly fast food style service, you order and pick up your meal. Nice presentation with serving dish that is a cute little baby-wok.

Hey I know Im not gonna get a food chub when I dont see Chinese cooking in a Chinese restaurant. Its just how it goes mane. Personally Im really not high on Americanized fast food chinese offerings. If you’re gonna do Chinese food, take the time to do it right. Just cause you have a wok doesnt mean crap to me. Am I ranting??? Anyways I have had alot of the dishes here. The fried rices pass. The soups pass. Egg rolls.EH. My fav is the Mongolian Chicken. Its actually pretty good. Basically chicken and onions. Nice dish. Most dishes are passable but for some that aint reason enough to spend their hard earned scratch. The prices are good so that makes this place worth trying. If you work in the area go. But hey if you’re in a crappy mood I hardly expect this place to make the sun come out and cure your bitchy mood.

I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and was really disappointed. It was presentable, but it was as if they woked it and just threw it in the bowl. It was so bland and unflavorful that I couldn’t eat it. George likes his Kung Pao spicy. Oh, and the chicken was funky. It tasted really fatty. Almost like it had some sort of filler or additive in it. This place was so loud and hectic that I needed a cigarette afterwords(if I smoked). Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The place was really packed, though I dont see the appeal. I really miss the days where I could go to a nice traditional chinese resteraunt with white tablecloths, traditional chinese décor and plinky music. Does anyone know of such a place that isn’t some nast y hole in the wall or buffet made w/MSG laden cat meat?

Their food is great and prices are very very reasonable. They even give out complimentary fried wontons for appetizers. Royal Chopsticks is very vegetarian-friendly and will sub tofu for any of their dishes. I highly recommend trying the Orange Tofu!
