They dont keep drinking water bottle available at all. You need pay n buy it from vending machine. U gotta be kidding me. Now coming to my car. I had given my car for to fix the AC problem as i was getting warm air and car was not getting cooled. They fixed the problem by telling coolant was low and they had to fill the refrigerant. After 2 months i had same problem. In Texas summer, u just cannot withstand it. Came back and gave it to check again but they are charging me again for the AC check. Will update if the issue gets fixed or not.

This guys are honest and straight forward. They do their job well and takes real good care of the car.
People working there are really knowledgeable and kno what they are doing.
Price is really good compared to many other automotive places.
They take more time to attend your car even when you make an appointment and reach there sooner. These guys are really slow and make you wait all day even for a small check up.
They got to be fast.

These guys are honest and upright and clean. Three times now … THREE!!! … when other car places have told me something needed an expensive repair, they have quickly righted it… at no charge. Huh? Yeah. It’s true. And when they have had to make repairs, the price has always been 25 — 50% less than the other quotes I’ve received. I cannot speak for all of the Pep Boys, but the one that is cattie-​corner from Irving Mall has great guys and girls; they are nice and hard-​working, and they all seem to really put their all into it.
This right here is an old school kind of place. You might have to wait a little longer for administrative b.s., every once in awhile they might misplace the keys to your car, the waiting room isn’t plush, and don’t expect a ride to and from your house. But what you will get are knowledgeable, blue collar, kind people who are honest. Keep on keepin’ on Pep Boys. And THANK YOU!

Don’t go here unless you want to be scammed and pay for work they don’t even do. This was the worst car experience I have ever had. I had gotten a bid for 4 new tires, went back two days later because there was a two hour wait the day I got the bid, and they wouldn’t honor their original bid so I told them to go ahead anyway because it had already been a waste of time as it was. I also added an oil change and inspection. They called a couple of hours later to say the car was ready. Went back up there, paid and drove off. I noticed all my lights were still on and when I got home I realized they didn’t even change the tires, they were the same old tires I already had, they didn’t do the oil change or the inspection. They totally tried to scam me. I paid over $ 700 and absolutely no work was done.

My experiences with this shop are few and far in between but at no point did I feel like there was a lack of service or care.
My friend needed to replace his car battery and the woman at the counter received us, replaced the battery and totally rocked in the customer service department.
Other than that I believe it’s your typical Pepboys, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend them!

Walked in to get an oil change. I stood in the service room for 10 minutes. They did not even look up or smile. Needless to say I’m going somewhere else.

Service was slow. Took them an hour to change my oil, and I was there when they opened. To top it off, it took them an hour to check me out. They told me they tried calling the number I provided, but why call my house when I am sitting in the next room over? service manager looked lost and only cared about selling tires, instead of checking me out. I let the store manager know what happened. I won’t be back.

STAY AWAY from this location. My cadallic converter went out in my car and I had to get towed to this location. They told me I could pick up the car the next day. I got a phone call the next day with the guy telling me it would be about $ 100 to get it replaced and fixed. I agreed. The guy called me back telling me it was going to be about $ 220 (actually) to have it fixed. I was hesistant but I needed my car. I picked up the car only to have the issue happen to me again while driving home on 635. I almost died because my car wouldn’t accelerate like last time. I had no choice but to get it towed there AGAIN and have them fix the sensor AGAIN. While I was waiting one of the employees was back out another guys car and hit my rear bumper! I was appaulled, dehydrated and pissed off! The manager acted uncaring and told me he would fire the guy. Seriously? They couldn’t fix my car that day and he assured me that their insurance would take care of the issue. These people did not bother to contact me about my bumper and when I came in the next week about why I wasn’t called the manager told me they didn’t have my correct phone number. LIAR! WHY would I not leave my number with them if they HIT MY CAR?!
To make a long story short I got in touch with their insurance people and they covered the expenses for my bumper. But if they had people who actually CARED and KNEW what they were doing this would never have happened.\
This place sucks and should be closed down!

I needed a tow for my car from my house to their location (less than 2 miles) and naturally they decide the best way to do that is through some 800 number. I called to get a quote and the woman told me a price. When I arrive and want to pay, they tell me it’s double (should have seen it a mile away). Instead of taking care of me, they make me call the 800 number again. After a 26:53 minute phone conversation (most of it on hold for a «supervisor») I am promised that they will review my initial conversation, where the woman assured me the quote twice, and will call me back later «today.» I knew that meant never but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I was right, they never called. Going to this place was a giant waste of time and money. The experience was maddening and frustrating. It’s sad to say, but even Wal-​Mart employees are more professional. They couldn’t fix my car anyways, so I am finding a truly local repair shop and never again dealing with Pep Boys or their Customer Disservice Center.

This Pep Boys is a FRAUD. A few years ago my cars breaks were having an issue. I took the car in to have the break pads replaced. Typically when I take my car in I go in to the working area to make sure the mechanics are doing their job. Since it had been a while since the last break pad change the mechanic was having an issue.
He started hammering the clips and what not. When the car was finally done, I paid the $ 250 and left. To my nightmare! My cars breaks failed, i was not able to break and the break pedal was completly loose.
Somehow I managed to take the car back, they looked over the breaks and said the master cylinder had leaked. I was furious and told them it was there fault as the car was breaking before I had brought it in. Since I needed the car fixed I told them to fix it and paid (these *** holes made me pay for their mistake). I disputed but the charges with the credit card company but the ass hole at pep boys lied to the credit card company and I ended up paying for the crappy serivce.
If you value your own life DO NOT go here they are liars, cheats and a FRAUD. This is a franchise that does not even have trained people.

Uggh — 3 hrs for an oil change on a weekday morning. Horrible. I’m definitely contacting Pep Boys corporate on this one.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Every time I come here there are new mechanics. The average wait for a tire rotation and balancing has been 45min-​60min.
