Super, overly modern and cold. I have been in funeral homes and hospitals that were mire inviting and better died to entertain people. Concrete floss in the winter, not a good idea. The exposed concrete wall and puppies on the ceilings make me feel as if I’m staying in a garage. If you love extremely post modern furnishings, décor, and no practicality you well love this place.

So glad I found this place! I was booked at another hotel in the area that had bedbugs, mold, etc and I was desperate for a new place. I bailed on my first booking after seeing (and smelling) the room and found this place.
It smelled good, looked good, and was clean, quiet, and friendly. It is loft style with a super comfortable bed, warm heater, and nice amenities. I would definitely stay again!

I can’t complain too much because my company is paying for my stay. but besides the surprisingly thin walls, slightly used towels, disgustingly never cleaned hair dryer and… my big bed just not helping me sleep… basically, the bed is huge, it’s soft, but I miss real blankets, the décor is industrial/​modern, followed by gross when you look up. My major concern for this trip is to pray the sprinkler system doesn’t go off… the head is right above the nice, big, clean, white bed… and the pipe is incredibly rustic looking. I can only imagine the nightmare that would be… yuck. It’s only been day 1. and the people are nice, but the local restaurants across the street warned me about their food. Again, my company is paying for lodging, events, food, etc. but tonight I got a migraine, then threw up quite a bit from the «Texas Kobe beef sliders». I don’t know why I just didn’t go with the chicken… I’ve always avoided American style «Kobe beef», because I’ve had actual Kobe beef… in Kobe. But I remembered they do have a wagyu ranch somewhere in Texas… nope, wrong choice, do not get. Hopefully my next 3 days don’t continue like this…

«I can’t tell if my bathroom is in my bedroom or my bedroom is in my bathroom…» was the statement made by a co-​worker that describes the open flow concept of these suite-​like rooms! Personally I thought it was more of a Sci-​Fi pod feel but that might be my recent Star wars viewing experience talking. Once you walk in to your room you’ll get it.
The hotel itself is stunning in design. You feel like you have entered an apartment when you walk in. It just feels nice. Clean, pretty, and with enough perks to make «staying in» a good thing when traveling. Additional perks like reasonably priced on site food (oatmeal under $ 5 — unheard of from a boutique hotel), HD TV, safe, comfy bedding, free water, a brand new luxury courtesy shuttle, and enough lighting options in a room to suit an interior designer. I have to say though, the coffee cup wraps featuring tongue in cheek quotes from people like Katherine Hepburn and the amazing clear vanity mirror lighting in the bathroom (to the *sides* of your face ladies — not just above your head like typical hotel bathrooms!) were what really made me happy.
The overall impression I got of this hotel’s designers is that they really pay attention to details and wanted it to be a luxurious home away from home. Overall it was tasteful, quiet, attentive, close to food/​places to go, and beautiful. Definitely not for kids but a great choice for a nice weekend with a date or a busy corporate professional who is tired of the dungeon-​like gray of a Marriott.
The only suggestions I have for improvement were with the placement of the heater (right behind the headboard where it would turn on and make you jump through the night) and small counters in the bathroom… there barely was enough room to safely put a curling iron down without risking it rolling off and possibly falling on you.

Unique. Love the loft style. Nice location. Clean. Kinda artsy. Loved the vibe, welcoming and stylish. Nice for weekend getaways.

We had a rare night in the area to catch a Cowboys game and I had always heard great things about the hotel and when Priceline showed they were having a sale, I capitalized! The vibe is very industrial and modern. The rooms felt like a New York loft apartment with a cozy feel and the beds were AMAZING! Although I could do without the mirror in the shower, the shower head made for a relaxing experience. My husband and I have decided to make it our Dallas hotel of choice. Can’t wait to come back and try to the pool.

No dings here. This is the most unique hotel that I have ever stayed at. I could not stop starring at all of their unique chairs, couches and other furniture. Their computer room setup is awesome. They giveaway fresh green apples. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety of foods. Juice actually comes with it. The rooms are sound proof. This was the quietest hotel that I’ve stayed at also.

Not only does the punk ass manager respond to a review on trip advisor with his lying nonsense, they conveniently lock me out of my room. Wow, that’s class. Two more nights, yay!

Checked in on friday afternoon, quickly. We were greeted with a cheery smiling face, and directed to our room. Great first impression.
Pros: Atmosphere was amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVEthe deco, and vibe as a whole. Comfy bed, and amazing shower. Bar was amazing. we had a ball with the staff working that night. To Cristen, Austin, Phil, and Pabella-​We had an amazing time!
Cons: Room was smaller than expected, but nothing we couldnt work with. Suggest that they lose the coffee table, it just got in the way to be honest. We found a leak coming from the window, along with a puddle on top of the HVAC unit. We just went ahead and cleaned it up, and told the staff about. We didnt ask to change rooms, but they assured that they will have someone right on it to fix it.
Other than that, we had a great time.

Just had some great drinks here at the bar for happy hour! $ 6 margaritas and $ 7 martinis. Looking forward to booking a room here with my boyfriend soon it seems pretty nice. Great service!

Even if they gave me the room for free, I wouldn’t stay here again. For the good, bad and ugly…
Upon arrival, the hotel looks nice. It seems to be a bit out of place when you see what else is around the hotel. When checking in, the front desk clerk has you check a box stating you will not have loud parties in your room. This is a first and I spend approximately 90 nights per year in hotels. Uh oh!
My daughters and I checked into the room and it is ok, a loft type room. Actually, the room is ok especially for the weekend rate I paid. First issue is we did not have ESPN and NFL Network working. The stations did not come in and maintenance could not fix it. Thank goodness for the Watch ESPN app. Who knows when it will be fixed?
We proceeded to go downstairs and have dinner in the bar/​pool area. The food was pretty good and the server from the bar area was really good. It was one of the few things that I actually liked about the hotel. I tipped him 30% because of his attitude and service.
As we were leaving, I noticed a police officer on duty at the bar area. My guess is there are a few instances of disorderly conduct, since most bars I have visited don’t have uniformed officers standing guard.
The AC unit, even when turned off, still runs and blows air. I had to sleep with my noise canceling headphones on due to the noise. Guess I slept well cause at 1:30 am, the guys next to us were living it up. My oldest daughter asked them nicely to please keep it down. Believe it or not, they actually played ding dong ditch on our room. After that didn’t work, she went to the front desk to ask for assistance. She was told a police office would come up to quiet down the guys. By the time the officer got there, the guys had left.
About 5:30 am, I can hear lots of noise in the hall, even though I have noise canceling headphones on. It was the guys next door. I think they were playing catch with a tennis ball up and down the hall. Not sure where they were until 5:30 am, but have some respect for your neighbors.
Unfortunately, everyone in the hall is loud. You can hear people arguing and shouting up and down the halls. This hotel is not conducive to sleeping.
The next night was better because the guys next door had checked out. Thank goodness. However, at 2:39 am, the fire alarm goes off in the room and basically throws you out of bed. It buzzed three times and then stopped. Not sure why it went off, but it did. Bummer for me, I did not go back to sleep before my 5 am wake up for my early plane departure.
If you like a hotel where folks are rowdy and you don’t care to sleep, then this one is for you. The staff was nice, but if you read the reviews on this hotel, I guess you know what you are in for. TV channels I wanted to watch, continuous AC noise, rowdy folks up and the down the halls, it’s not exactly what I paid for.
By the way, this is the first review I have ever written on Unilocal.I was certainly inspired to do so, so that others don’t waste their money.

I would stay here again, mainly because of their food. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The gym was small but I was able to get a fair workout each day. I would arrive at 5am and workout until 7am. 7am, it is extremely packed. The service from the front desk was amazing. I had a few request this week and they helped a lot. They were able to provide resources or assistance for each issue.
To the sad section, the room. It was somewhat small and the bathroom was a style that was uncomfortable. Carpet would have been nice, at least in the bathroom. The floors are made of concrete.

Pros: just my style. Modern and urban. Cement walls and flooring. Exposed pipes. Minimalist furniture with clean lines. My sister really liked the mattress and is going to look into buying one like it when she gets home. Clean. Fresh, crisp sheets. Great pool. Plenty of parking.
Cons: other patrons. Loud, drunken, happy wedding party. Super trashy people with logo’d out designer handbags and clothing (there attending leadership conference).

We came here for a staycation on a Friday night. It was actually perfect because of its close proximity to several freeways, we were able to get into Dallas pretty quick. As you likely know by now, this is a trendy hotel with modern décor and loft-​like rooms. The rooms are not that large and the couch is not that comfortable. There is some wasted space in that the bad doesn’t sit flush against any wall, leaving space behind it. There is not a ton of natural light in the rooms. The shower is the highlight of the room as it has a large rainbath coming from the ceiling.
The common areas are also really nice and are another highlight. There are ball pods at the pool area, a large game room with a nice pool table, and futuristic hanging chairs in the lobby. the business center is also state of the art. The downfall of the pool area is that you are not allowed to bring outside food and drink there. You have to walk through the bar to get to the area. It is intimidating to swim because the people surrounding it are in bar/​lounge mode. There are two small adjacent pools that are not very deep, great for relaxing. The parking is great (free!) and the staff is friendly. The size of the room and the pool food policy are what brought this review down to 3 stars.

Restaurant review:
Less than mediocre food and drinks. Menu is seriously overpriced for what they give you and I’ve screwed up better food at home.
Few friends and I went here for my birthday. A misguided friend (who will never pick locations for us again) suggested NYLO. None of us had ever been so we were really unsure about it.
So first issue was trying to book a reservation. We decided on the NYLO in downtown dallas but for 2 days my friend couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I called to get the dress code and got a voicemail. Seriously? Called the next day and finally got someone.
The day of my birthday we finally got through to try to book a reservation and were informed they were closed to the public so we booked las colinas.
Food was horrible and drinks were the same. I ordered chicken piccata and sent it back. They threw raw carrots on the plate as the «seasonal vegetables» saying they weren’t supposed to be mushy. The chicken was dry and overcooked. And the potatoes and side of Gouda Mac and cheese both seriously lacked seasoning. And the Mac and cheese that three of us ordered was cold. Not just warm but actually cold.
The 10 dollar margarita had little alcohol in it and was nothing special taste wise. I know this bc I’m not a huge drinker so one drink makes me tipsy and I felt barely anything from this one.
I finally decided to try again bc my friends thought I should eat something. I ordered calamari and got a replacement on the Mac and cheese. It was hot but still needed salt so wasn’t great. The calamari was oily and $ 18 for a «large»? I can go to Olive Garden and pay around 10 bucks and get great calamari. (Mine was at least hot. My friend ordered calamari too and his was cold.)
The waiter was nice enough but they seemed understaffed Bc it took forever to get good out and even to get our check at the end. Odd bc there was hardly anyone in the small restaurant.
I will never visit this hotel or any of their restaurant locations ever again. I think each hotel has a different restaurant and it seems they all have mediocre stars and reviews. I see why.
Needless to say wasn’t a great birthday and my friends and I wasted money. We could have hung out and drank at a friends house and come out better.
Updating the review bc I just remembered I asked the waiter if they had bread and butter we could eat while waiting for others to arrive. He said he could probably find some bc they had some at breakfast…
I was like… okay I don’t want leftover bread. He brought out rolls that were we hard and over baked. They seemed like the rolls you bake yourself. When we mentioned it he said… they come in frozen and they bake them… really? Frozen bread. Cold Mac and cheese that’s probably reheated in the microwave? What is made fresh?

Ok. .. Servers friendly and committed. Good place to go during the week after 9PM for drinks.

I had heard rumors that this hotel had a awesome pool/​bar area. Several people from the hubbys work talk about spending weekends here and partying accordingly. It’s super chic inside. The décor is amazing. The bar looks like it’s for the grown folks. Problem was when we hit this place up there was maybe 8 other people here. No lights on outside by the pool. Not a lot of music. It was dead. Guess we need to try again in the daytime? What a bust.

The «urban theme» is great. Very clean, but also nice. And the hotel itself has a lot of hidden things to do — but not really hidden.
The on-​site restaurant was actually VERY good — you do have to run down to pick up your order but the Staff is awesome — and they did run my orders up twice despite no Room Service when I was stuck on phone conversations.
There is no shuttle to the airport but there are a lot of things around, and it is VERY close to the Microsoft Campus.
The Rates are great — I would stay again if back in town, and recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel in the middle of nowhere. Artistic décor. Very hip … Staffs are very helpful and friendly .
Only downside is no room service. You have to pick up your own food once it’s ready and bring them back to your room
Otherwise a great hotel.

We were in town for a wedding at the nearbye Four Seasons. We picked this hotel because of the price, location, and it looked like a fun place. The lobby, bar, and lounge were nice. The bartender was friendly.
The bed in our room was comfy and the tv had lots of channels, including movie channels. The closet was a bit small and i had to move the drawers out of there to make room so we could actually hang something up. The room could use a mirror also. I can understand some of the comments about the place feeling sterile. It does give off a parking garage vibe, but they are lofts and overall our stay was enjoyable and we would do it again.
There are a lot of restaurants in the area also and the airport was not too far away.
